Needed a quick creative break from work, and since I promised BobDong...

Specifically Solo Rap Star Jiwon x Stylist Donghyuk AU drabble. Super short and only done in about 10 minutes. *sweatdrops*

Can't wait for the weekend to come...

The stage is where Jiwon should feel at home the most, with him spitting bars of fire and jumping around the platform that makes his audience scream and dance the night away.

But no. For Jiwon, home is the dim lights of the backstage after every performance, the racks of clothes and rows of shoes lining up the corners of the small dressing room. Home is in the form of nimble fingers smoothing creases on his jacket, of almond eyes crinkling into crescents and a smile that lights up the room more than how the actual lights do.

“Another tear here. And there. You do know I can’t sew your clothes again and again right?” Donghyuk deadpans, examining the tear on his sleeve and pointing at a particularly big one on the lower end of his pants. “Telling you to be careful is useless. Oh well.”

Jiwon just smiles. Actually, the dim lights and the clothing racks don’t matter. Home is wherever this person is. Home is Donghyuk himself.

“You’re forgetting something.”

“I just did my routine check on your clothes. I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Donggu…”

He smiles more when a pretty pink appears on his stylist’s cheeks. Donghyuk sighs and looks up at him with a pout, trying to appear annoyed, but Jiwon sees the playful glint in his eyes.

“Welcome back hyung.” Donghyuk finally says just as Jiwon lifts his face up by a gentle hold on the back of his head, and Donghyuk tiptoes with his fingers curling on his jacket, reviving the creases he already smoothened out a minute ago.

“I’m back.”
