LUCKY FOR YOUR LOVE

Author's POV:

The next day, the tribe members woke up early to hunt for more food in the open sea, You gasped a bit as you admired the beautiful view of the ocean. 

"It's really beautiful down there." you said after observing the water. You smiled at the camera, feeling delighted. "The feeling is different from last night. We can see that the sunlight reached the sea floor." Byungman said.

"Okay, let's go hunt." Jaesuk and HaHa said but turned nervous afterwards. "It's okay. It's not spooky like last night." Heechul said while laughing a them. "It's still scary for us.It's 10m deep!" HaHa exclaimed and glanced at Byungman who was already in the water with Dongwook. Bam Bam then jumped into the water too and waited for you. You jumped along with Jungkook and continued to hunt.

You ate the fish while smiling widely. "It's good." you blurted while munching. "Here, feed her this, Bam Bam-ah." Byungman handed a piece of squid to Bam Bam who hesitantly turned to you. He brought it closer to your face. You got his signal and opened your mouth so that he could feed you. You thanked him and hummed in satisfaction. He grinned shyly while admiring your expression. Jungkook smiled but on the inside, he was obviously feeling jealous.

All of you had finished eating. Suddenly, Dongwook pointed towards the back. "Look! The storm is coming." 

You gasped and observed the dark grey sky. It was pretty scary of course. You looked at Jungkook who was standing by your side. He also turned clueless.

"It's okay, as long as there's no lightning or thunder then we're gonna be fine." Byungman said reassuringly while also staring at the sky. "There's only 1 hour left until the 24 hours mission ends." the producer suddenly shouted and you quickly turned your head around. "Really? Time passes by quickly." you said in a happy tone. "But we still have to endure the heavy rain." Jaesuk said and you agreed. 

As soon as he said that, it started to rain heavily.Heavier than last night. You hid in your raincoat while feeling the cold sensation surrounded you. You heaved out a sigh and observed the other members. You suddenly felt the base was moving. It moved gently but turned a bit aggressive in a matter of seconds. The waves had basically hit the base really hard. Harsh waves came a lot more afterwards. 

"Hang on tight, everyone." Byungman said in a serious tone and you knew that the situation was dangerous. You slowly walked a bit from the edge, wanting to go closer to the centre as it was safer.

You slowly made your way but suddenly a huge crash of wave was heard, making the raft shook aggressively. You stumbled to the back and widened your eyes as you knew what were going to happen next. The raincoat dropped to the wooden floor and you screamed in fear as you were falling into the crashing waves.

The other members quickly averted their gaze towards you. They widened their eyes as they saw you were flailing your hands on the surface, trying to fight the strong current. 

"Hurry, grab Jenny !!" Byungman and the staffs shouted at each other. But Jungkook quickly jumped into the water without hesitation and tried his hard to swim towards you. You were drifting further away from the base in just a short time. At that time, you felt scared to death as you were trying hard to stay on the surface. You couldn't scream for help as the water kept getting into your mouth. You needed to catch your breath as well. Your vision was also blurry as the rain was pouring hard.

You suddenly saw someone swam quickly towards you. It was Jungkook. "Jenny!" he shouted.He quickly grabbed your body, making you hugged his body tightly. You were scared and he knew it. He tried to swim back with one hand but it was really hard to fight the waves. Suddenly, a few more people came and they were Byungman and the staffs. "Quick, let's go back." he said and helped you to swim.

The members quickly helped you to get onto the base again. You laid down and gasped for air. The medic came to you and you also saw Jungkook turned more concern than before. "Jenny, you okay?" he asked and put your head on his lap. You breathed out heavily and slightly nodded. 

"Jenny ssi, are you okay?" the medic staffs asked and you just nodded. "I'm fine. I just need to catch my breath," you said while gasping for more oxygen. The members surrounded you and you smiled reassuringly. "Yah, don't ever scare us like that again." Dongwook said worriedly. You smiled and shook your head. "I'm more scared, myself." 

Byungman made you sat up and patted your back. You smiled in appreciation and only then you realised that Jungkook was holding onto your hand tightly. You looked at him and you saw a worried expression plastered on his face. You thanked him and smiled. "Thanks, oppa." 

He sighed and nodded shortly after. He was feeling scared that he might lose you at that time. 

"You okay now, Jenny?" Bam Bam asked in English. You chuckled and felt better. "Yeah I'm fine now." you answered in the same language. 

"Be extra careful next time, guys." Byungman said and he smiled at you. You nodded and thanked him.
