Feelings
(NOT A) PERFECT GIRLThe winter went on, the city was covered in bluish snow. Your fingers wiped the dewy window pane, revealing the view outside your office. You looked at your watch and smiled – you could go home earlier and you decided to visit Changkyun and Minhyuk at hospital first. It’s been a week since your last visit and finally you had some spare time to visit again.
You packed your bag and walked out of your studio. You were walking in the corridor when Key walked out of his office.
“Oh, sajangnim,” you bowed.
Key smiled, “drop the formality, I feel old if you call me ‘sajangnim’.”
“Ah… hehehe, okay,” you rubbed your nape awkwardly.
“Are you going home?” he asked.
You nodded, “but I want to go to hospital first.”
Key looked outside the window, “it’s snowing outside. Do you mind if I drive you home?”
“Ah…,” you looked outside, thinking. “Thank you for the offer, but…”
“No buts,” he cut your sentence, “you’re a precious designer right now, I can’t let you sick and screw the deadline.”
You nodded. Key walked to the parking lot and you followed behind him. You knew that Key had married, and you were surprised at first. You found out when some workers congratulate him for his marriage, and he showed his wedding ring. You wondered how his wife looks like because Key never introduced her.
“Baby~ feed me,” Minhyuk pouted and pointed at his mouth. Miyoung just shaking her head, chuckling, “aigoo oppa, don’t act like a baby.”
“But I’m your baby,” Minhyuk grinned, “feed me.”
Miyoung took a piece of grilled meat and feed Minhyuk. Minhyuk ate happily, grinning ear to ear. Changkyun looked at them, scrunching his brows, “Does he always act like that?”
Miyoung chuckled, “When I’m around, he becomes all clingy.”
“Don’t be jealous, Kkukkung-ah,” Minhyuk grinned, “just play with your tricycle. Shoo… shoo…”
Changkyun shook his head, sighing. Minhyuk had been hospitalized for a week and his girlfriend visited him every day. They would be lovey-dovey in front of Changkyun, forgetting that the maknae was there, watching, judging.
Meanwhile you and Key stopped in front of the hospital room. You bowed, thanking him for driving you to hospital. He apologized because he couldn’t accompany but you didn’t mind. You knew that he’s a busy person and having him driving for you was more than enough. You thanked him again, waving him a goodbye and entered the room.
“Hello,” you smiled, greeting Miyoung, Minhyuk, and Changkyun. Miyoung turned around, a bright smile formed on her face, “eonni!” she beamed.
Minhyuk smirked, “who’s that guy? Your new boyfriend? You’ve dumped Hyungwon already?”
You pouted, “He’s my boss.”
“So your new boyfriend is your boss? Whoa what a scandal,” Minhyuk teased, you rolled your eyes and whacked his head. “Hyungwon is my only boyfriend, okay?”
Minhyuk chuckled, rubbing his head, “I know, geez,” he sighed, “just can’t help it, you and your boss look good together, like a couple in forbidden love who fall for each other in the workplace…” before he finished, you whacked his head again. “You watch too much drama, oppa. I have no intention to cheat behind Hyungwon. Note it.”
He pouted, “Okay, okay.”
You looked at Changkyun, smiling, “hey, how’s your leg?”
