The third day in Phuket was exciting. All of you sailed to Phi Phi Island. For some, it’s the only reason to visit Phuket. Its mesmerizing beauty hypnotizes everyone and it was a paradise on earth. You couldn’t stop staring at the fortress-like archipelago, spacing out during the journey from mainland. Your unfocused eyes looked through crystal clear water; something was bothering your mind but you didn’t know what it was.

Hyungwon kissed you last night, and you still couldn’t believe it.

How could he make it seem so easy, when you didn’t even have courage to imagine it? Where did he get the courage from?

Did he consider kissing a girl in front of people as a normal thing – so he could do it with no burden?

Your brain told you there was something wrong, but your heart refused the negativity.

There’s always a war between heart and logic in everyone’s mind, right? You were having one, but your heart clearly won. The negativity was still too weak, it had no evidence, it was still blur, and you decided to just shrug it off. You let yourself overjoyed in the thought that your relationship with him was real.

You remembered that Shownu pulled the two of you apart last night. He looked upset but Hyungwon just laughed it off. Hyungwon got a group attack from the others because he dared to kiss you without considering their feelings. You laughed from the thought, completely forgot about anything else.

After a day full of snorkeling, kayaking, and water games on Phi Phi Island, all of you sailed back to the mainland. You and Miyoung were about to enter the cottage when the tour guide gave you something. It was an invitation for monthly beach party that was addressed for every tourist in the area. You thanked the tour guide and he smiled at you before leaving.

“Beach party?” Miyoung looked at the invitation. “What do you think, eonni?”

You examined the invitation closely, “party… I attended some when I was in college. But beach party? Never have one.”

Miyoung pointed at the invitation detail. “Dress code : bikini. Do you have bikini?”

You remembered the bikini that you brought, “eh… yes, I guess.”

You frowned at your reflection on the mirror. You tried the bikini and felt embarrassed afterwards. Actually the bikini was not too exposing; it was simple black two-piece without additional detail. However, it was the first time you wear it and you couldn’t help but feeling uneasy, “why did I buy it at the first place?” you bit your lower lip, sighing. Working in a fashion company didn’t make you understand why bikini is necessary. It is technically simplified underwear with matching color, isn’t it?

You shook you head, “aih, Son Yoora. You lived in a cave for too long and now you become conservative.”

The party was about to start and you ended up wearing a white net sweater as outer. You looked at your reflection once again, smiling, “better.”

Miyoung left a note that she will meet you at the party; it means you had to walk alone. The party was already started when you got there and you felt lost. The place was filled by strangers. You could see a DJ on the stage, playing upbeat music that made people crazy. Bass zombies were gathering around speakers, jumping and dancing like no one’
