“Here, hyung, let me help you to bed,”

The two boys has finally gone home to the hospital after getting some air and snacks, while coincidentally meeting with Jungkook’s most hated person in earth, making him spill all the secrets and the truths. It was pretty late at night, and Namjoon had decided that he’ll just sleep over in his older cousin’s room.

“No need, I can do it myself,” Seokjin smiled at him as took off his jacket and hopped off to the bed.

“You don’t need to wear an IV again?”

“I don’t think so,” the older boy leaned back, “The doctors said my stats were pretty stable these days,”

“That’s good, then,” Namjoon threw his scarf to the table, “I still hope that it can disappear,”

“One day, Namjoon. One day.”

They were met with an awkward silent as Namjoon already changed his clothes with Seokjin strolling around the channels in the TV. It wasn’t that usual that they could be silent at both time, they always had something to talk about, but this day is just different.

“Are you still overwhelmed by Kris’s story, Namjoon?”

The silver-haired boy shrugged, “Maybe. I mean, I couldn’t really imagine living like that. I can’t even imagine Jungkook’s expression when he knows all of this,”

“Yeah,” Seokjin sighed, “If it does means well I’d still be so upset too,”

“Is he probably a psycho?” Namjoon whispered as he stared at the show in the TV, only to earn a smack from the older.

“That’s no a good thing to say to a person that passed away already!”

“You know you secretly agree with me, hyung,”

“It still doesn’t mean it’s right to say that,”

“Fine, fine,” the younger frowned as he returns his focus to the TV, “I hope Jungkook won’t blow up though,”

“I do hope so too,” the older frowned, “I have a feeling that it wouldn’t be such a nice thing to know he’ll broke,”

Jungkook squinted his eyes as he reads his club report card precisely.

School festival is closing in and apparently every class had to do something like a stand or a performance for it. His class had decided to open a haunted house at their class and right now Jungkook is currently doing some chores. He was chosen to be one of the guys to decorate things because apparently the girls in his class said that he was ‘too beautiful to be tainted and painted’ as a ghost. So here he is, black curtains in his right hand with a report card on his other hand.

It was actually Taehyung’s job, but the boy was chosen to be a ghost addition (‘he’ll fit well as a dracula!’) so he passed it to the black-haired boy, adding to his already jam-packed job. Not just his class, but the art-club has planning to make something the festival too. They were going to make a set of sculptures to decorate the stand beside the exhibition, and Jungkook was chosen to be one of the designers.

“I think you’re going to burn holes in to the paper, Jungkook,”

The boy turned his head to the source of the voice, his eyes were greeted with a flock of brown hair.

“Seokjin-hyung,” he smiled sheepishly, “I was just counting my points,”

“Looks like it’s pretty huge,” the older boy says as he peeked at the younger’s card, “I think I’ve never seen someone got a nine on a single work before,”

Jungkook tilted his head, “How do you know,”

“Well, Jimin is in the art club right?” he smiled sadly, “He used to tell all of us about it,”

“Ah,” the black-haired boy frowned a little, “I see. I’m sorry for bringing it up,”

“Hey, don’t be! As far as I know, you should be pretty happy! Jimin’s the club president now and he never got as high as you before,”

The black-haired boy scoffed, “You’re kidding. His art is majestic,”

“I’m not, really!” Seokjin says as he assured the boy, “If you don’t believe me, just ask Hoseok about it. He literally knows all the student’s club points in the school. Perks of being part of the council,”

“Well, I’ll do it later then,” the younger boy frowned, “I have to bring this to my class first,”

“Oh, you’re doing a haunted house right? I heard from Taehyung,”

“Yeah, and I didn’t get allowed to be a ghost,”

“Aww,” the older boy ruffled Jungkook’s hair as he pouted. What can he say, horror is his favorit thing Don’t you have anything to do, hyung?”and he actually really wanted to scare people, “I can understand why you didn’t get chosen. You’re too cute—girls would fall in love with you instead of getting scared,”

“Ugh, hyung, really?” the younger frowned, “Not you too,”

“It’s the truth, Kookie~” he cooed at him, making him annoyed, “Don’t you have anything to do, hyung,”

“They’re excluding me from the activities,” suddenly Seokjin huffed, “They said they don’t want me to overwork myself. And my class is doing a cafe! I really wanted to cook,”

“I’d do that too if I were them, hyung. No offense, but you know you’re really close to stage 2, right?”

“I know, I know,” he sighed, “I just don’t want people to worry about me so much. I still can do things,”

“Cheer up, hyung, look at the advantage! You’re free to roam around to see other classes! I heard Namjoon-hyung’s class is doing a game arcade,”

“Yeah, you’re right,” Seokjin finally smiled, “I’m going to check them out then. You coming?”

“Nah, hyung, I still got things to do, remember?” Jungkook smiled back, “See you later at practice!”

“So you’re being awfully nice to Jungkook.”

The council was in a ruckus. Due to the school festival coming soon, they have to make a lot of preperations. Such as signing club permits, assigning the members on the sponsors, arranging schedules, and a lot more of things. Park Jimin as the council president he is, was pretty much distressed because there were just so much things to do he didn’t even know where to start.

“So your attendance became awfully frequent now,” the red-haired boy retorted to him while still reading the sound system list from the audio management team, “Did you gave up on the club,”

“Hey, if you can be the council president and the art club’s president then why can’t I be in the club too?”

Jimin perked up one of his eyebrows, “Are you trying to say that you’r

Chapter 35: This is one of the best fanfics I've ever read. It's rare to see a story that's focusing on friendship, slice of life and a hint of angst with no romance or even a hint of it. You are really a great author who made this fantastic story. I salute you.

Chapter 32: This is actually good! Aside for a few typo in the first few chapters, your writing is good. The plot flows nicely and it ended prettily. Great job!
