The Spring Between Us
Description
Min Yoongi (codenamed Suga—a name that he regretted choosing) is one of the iconic Kingka-slash-gang member BTS in the school—even though, it wasn't actually a gang, nor he is a Kingka.
BTS (title courtesy of Park Jimin saying it was a necessity to name ourselves) was actually just a circle of his best friends, misunderstood as a gang because of an incident of them going to school with bruises all over just because of Namjoon's treasure hunting session. BTS also wasn't a group consisting people of what they categorize as Kingkas—the only guys in the group that was qualified enough to be one of those flower boys that girls could swoon on was only Seokjin and his goddamned brother Jungkook that was strangely got the handsome genes while he didn't. And Kim Taehyung, if he was standing silently and not in one of his antics.
(But no one in BTS was normal enough to be liked, actually)
When he sees the girl that was his first love he had on 4th grade shows up in the first day of school, Yoongi was swooned. He remembers how her soft cherry-brown locks are and her milky skin that glowed under the sunlight like it was imprinted on the back of his mind—and this girl who apparently showed up with her sister at school just fitted the image.
(And she had just to be Hoseok's step sister)
But what if the girl that he had dreamed turns out might not be as dreamy as how he picture it before.
Foreword
Kim Aran—now family-named Jung—wasn't really the brightest person in the world.
Don't get her wrong, she's not usually that bad—but when the reality of your mom marrying again finally downed on you, she just can't hold her bad mood. Moreover, she had dated the man months without telling her and her sister with the reason of her afraid that they wouldn't like him, making her frown grew deeper.
And when she found out her future dad has a son—apparently older than him even though still in the same grade—it just made her day much worse. She wasn't too fond of people for the start, and another sibling means more people to be tolerated.
"Unnie," her only sister and the only person that she fully trusts (because apparently her mom's just broke because of the secret-boyfriend-suddenly-showed-up-and-gets-married thing), Nara, approached her and offered her a set of new uniform, "Let's do our best today, okay?"
She smiled a little, "Yeah. Let's do it,"
"Good morning," a brown-haired boy appeared on their door, fully clothed with his own uniform, "I'll be waiting downstairs, okay?"
Nara send him a smile, "Okay, Hoseok-ssi," even though, the other girls just pursed her lips and stared at him, making the older boy sighed.
"Don't be so formal to me, after all, I'm your brother now," he then turned to the glaring girl, "Good morning to you too, Aran-ah,"
"We're going to change," she replied as she stood up, "Would you mind?"
Hoseok sighed again as he closed the door and moving himself downstairs.
"I'll do my best, then,"
A/N: Ah I promised myself to not write another fanfic before 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Y(our) Life' ends but... I CANT HELP IT I JUST NEED TO WRITE THIS ITS BEEN ON MY MIND FOR TOO LONG IM AFRAIRD ITS GOING TO DISAPPEAR.
So here we are! This is my first time writing with an OC included! It's going to be maybe your typical highschool love story... but I can't guarantee that there'll be plot twists ;) I don't have the exact picture of how Aran + Nara looks like, but you can imagine two girls who look alike to each other, with Nara being the more feminine of the two wearing the school uniform tidyly and Aran being the tomboyish one of the two.
