Chapter 6
That was Then, This is Now
It was night time and you wiped the last table. You changed into your clothes and saw Jaejoong staring into space again in the kitchen. *Wow, he must be really sad about this*
“Manager Jaejoong?” You softly spoke. He looked up.
“Are you going home yet? It’s getting late.”
“Oh, yeah. I’ll walk you home. Just wait for me” You were about to reject his offer but he went to change his clothes. Jaejoong came out and said “let’s go”
You both walked outside and it was a bit chilly. You shivered a bit and then you sneezed.
“Here, Take my hoodie” Jaejoong handed you his hoodie and you wore it. You could smell his scent on the hoodie.
“You know..” You began to speak. “you didn’t have to walk me home. I could’ve walked home myself”
“I can’t do that. You’re a girl and it’s night time. What if something happened to you? It would be my fault”
“But you didn’t walk me home last time” You muttered. “What did you say?” Jaejoong asked.
“Nothing. Thanks for the hoodie” He grinned. It was silent between the both of you until you reached home.
“This is where you live?” You nodded. “I know. It looks trashy but I find it very comfortable” He just nodded his head.
“Here” You took off his hoodie and gave It back. “Thanks again for walking me home and the hoodie”
“No problem, that’s what friends are for right?” He chuckled and waved goodbye.
*Friends? That sounds nice…*
You went into your apartment and settled in for the night.
