Love

It's a strange word, love. For Kai it sounded even stranger. All those hidden emotions in the light four letters of spilled attraction and commitment. Spilled wine on the floor, lots of roses and a girl on the bed.. This was not love. She was blond and her eyes were closed. She was sleeping as if nothing has happened in the room, but in reality.. There was a chair thrown against the wall, apparently there was a fight. It was now a piece of woods lying there, on the white carpet.

The girl looked like a piece of art, that's what D.O would say. But for Kai, this was not a piece of art. It was an unforgivable sin. His friend should have stopped long ago. Long before Lay gets involved, and long before Ellie gets involved as well. But now Ellie was in danger, and the killings haven't stopped. In fact they may increase.

Kai made an uncertain step towards the bed. He was not afraid to look at the girl. She didn't look scary or even dead. The pillow D.O obviously shut her up forever with, was placed right under her head, so she looked like a sleeping beauty. But something else frightened him. His friend frightened him. D.O was close to Ellie now. Kai knew this well, better than anyone. Was this revenge or what? He didn't really understand. Everything has gone so wild a year ago, that nothing made sense anymore. Nothing meant anything anymore.

Especially that Ellie did not even remember him. They were bond together. They've said nothing would seperate them. And then it happened. D.O happened.

Kai threw another glance at the blond girl and made another three steps toward the bed. The white bed sheet was crumpled around her body. She was young. And pretty, like an angel.

"Aish.. This jerk won't stop soon"

He had to remove every single evidence, before it was too late, before someone caught him and suspected him of murder. And before someone even saw him, before they noticed his existence.

"I wanna kill him, really. He's so dead."

Kai made three large steps back to the wooden pieces left from the chair and tossed them in the fireplace. The fire swallowed them thirstily, reflected in Kai's eyes. It was so warm and yet what he was doing right now gave him goosebumps.

But before he changes his mind, Kai turned back to the bed and took the phone, lying next to the sleeping beauty.

He started reading the messages.

- Your friend was murdered. Have you found out? I'm really sorry on behalf of Yixing. -

- Yixing?! She was not even my friend. Maybe you are mistaken. But this girl was the worst. She was a sasaeng, she only followed you guys around -

"What a friend" Kai laughed bitterly.
