Chapter 40
· Wounded Hearts ·Chapter 40:
Jimin drives Minhee home. He parks right infront of the gate. "Well here we are." He turns off the car and grabs the keys.
"Thank you." Minhee smiles back and holds the roses closely.
"Minhee." Jimin whispers her name. "Can I kiss you?"
Minhee's heart skipped a beat. How many times was she going to get a kiss? She wasn't complaining at all but she liked how Jimim was showing his vulnerable side to her. She liked it a lot. "Yes." She responds.
Jimin quickly unbuckles his seat belt and leans towards Minhee. He plants another soft kiss on her warm rosy red lips. He lets go and caresses her cheeks. "Lets take you home." They walk hand in hand towards the gate of her home. She quickly punches in the lock code; Minhee had gotten tired of Hoseok constantly asking her for the "secret password" everytime she would call for someone to open the gate. She texted her stepmom a few weeks before if she would give her the passcode in which Ms. Jung agreed to give it her and Jungmee.
"So what are you going to be doing tommorrow?" Minhee asks Jimin as they walk towards the front door of her house.
"I am working this weekend actually." Jimin responds. "I won't be able to see you unless you come to my job and eat lunch with me." Jimin pauses for a while. "I get some pretty good discounts at the cafe for meals you know. I can get you something to eat from there."
"Sounds good." Minhee smiles. "But I can make you something to eat instead."
"Really?" Jimin smiles. He can't believe his girl is willing to make him something to eat. "How about bibimap?"
"I can make you that." Minhee chuckles. She likes the way Jimin's eyes glisten when she says it.
"Yes." Jimin cheers. "I'll text you my work address. I believe I have a break around 1 pm. We can eat together during my break if you would like."
"Yes. That would be good." Minhee answers. She quickly looks for the keys inside her purse. "Goodnight Jimin." She plants a quick kiss on his cheek before turning around to open the door to her home. Jimin smiles as she walks inside her home. He loves the way he feels around her. He can truly be himself and doesn't have to act fake or pretend to be interested in her like he used to with all the girls. He hasn't felt like this for anyone until he met Minhee. As he walks towards his car he recalls an earlier encounter with a girl; Ivy.
They have had a very confusing relationship if that is what it is called. He never had feelings for her but somehow she had always stuck around whenever he was done with other girls. He never loved her but it seemed that somehow she had feelings for him. She was okay with Jimin seeing other girls because she would also see other guys. She enjoyed playing games with other boys, hurting them and cheating. Whenever one of them was done with someone else they would come back to eachother and spend time together. This cycle would continue again.
Ivy didn't mind that Jimin would meet other girls in his spare time at all. She knew he would always come back to her. She believed Minhee wasn't a threat when she first came to the school and Jimin showed an interest in her. She thought that in a few weeks Minhee would give in and let him in. He would then break her heart and come back to her side like he always does.
Weeks turned into months. She noticed Jimin was getting a little to attached to Minhee. She noticed how he would follow her to the library, walk along her side with his friends and Minhee's sister. In class he would always turn in her homework and assingments for Minhee. Whenever Minhee's pencils would break her would give her a new one or sharpen it. She also would see him carry her books to her locker. At lunch time she would see them sitting together laughing at playing around. At somepoint Ivy admitted that she was jealous.
Jimin told her that they would keep it on the low. She agreed because she didn't want to have a label with him. At some point she must have realized she was having feelings for this boy. Jimin made her feel loved and cherished. Jimin made her feel ways that other boys didn't. Unfortunately for Jimin she was just another girl that he had fun with and just go to whenever he was done playing around with other girls. He never reciprocated any feelings for her and he was clear about it.
As she realized Jimin was getting closer to Minhee, she noticed he was falling in love with her. He had stopped texting her to come over to his house. When she would text him to meet up, he was text back: I'm busy. They stopped seeing eachother less and less. She tried threatening him as well but it seemed like those threats didn't scare him.
Last week he ended up cutting all connections with her and told her they would stop seeing eachother. She complained and whined but somehow just walked a way with a simpl
