Chapter 34
· Wounded Hearts ·Chapter 34:
"The doctor says Hoseok going to be seeing a psychiatrist for a while." Ms. Jung explains to her husband as he walks in with a small meal for Hoseok.
"That's great to hear." Mr. Lee places the tray for Hoseok on the table for Hoseok to eat.
"Thank you." Hoseok bows.
"I'm so hungry." Taehyung whispers to Jungkook. They boys all turn to stare at Taehyung in disbelief. He rubs his stomach and yearns a chuckle or two from the girls.
"Go and eat guys." Hoseok barges in "I need to rest anyways."
Taehyung immediately jumps from his seat and dashes out the door. The rest of the boys and girls off to head down to the hospital cafteria to grab quick bite.
"Hey Namjoon." Minhee asks.
"Yeah?" He asks.
"I was wondering if maybe you would take me and Jungmee to the graveyard." Minhee informs him. "I really want to go see my mom."
"Yeah." Namjoon answers. "I left my car here in the hospital anyways."
"Thank you." Minhee reponds.
"You're welcome." Namjoon replies. It's been a while since he has visted his families grave as well. Maybe it was time to go see them.
After they all finish eating, the rest of the boys but Namjoon, Taehyung and Jungkook head up back to Hoseok's room.
"You guys coming too?" Jungmee asks as she witnesses Jungkook and Taehyung standing quietly next to Namjoon.
"Yeah." Taehyung nods. "We have family who have died too."
"Oh okay." Jungmee look at Taehyung for a brief second. Is his mother dead? Siblings? Father? She realizes that she doesn't really know Taehyung as much as she thought she might. She knew the surface; he was a quirky 18 year old with weird habits. At the same time he was caring and protective. However there was a side of Taehyung that hadn't open up to her.
"Lets go." Minhee snaps Jungmee out of her thoughts. They quickly walk behind Namjoon without uttering a single word.
They arrive at the cemetery. It's only located a couple minutes away from the hospital. The girls quickly rush out of the car and head for their mother's cemetry. All three boy separate and look for their family members graves.
Minhee places the flower bouquet that she bought for her mother at the hospital. Her mother's favorite winter flower was the marigolds.
"Hey mom." Minhee begins. "I have missed you alot. You know I had a dream about you. Well not a dream but a nightmare. I think I saw the way you died." Jungmee quietly listens to her sister. "It was horrible. You know I still have nightmares. Sometimes when I close my eyes I still your lifeless body in the hospital bed."
Jungmee suddenly gets a flashback. Her mom's body laying on the cold silver bed. Her head cut open. She remembers the smell that has no description. It was unfamiliar and smelled unpleasent. She remembers when the doctors informed that her brain splattered across the pavement. The dry
