M COUNTDOWN PRE-RECORDING 2015 #Hannah pre-recorded [BLAME] and [New Me] for M Countdown. She came on stage looking hot in a white mini dress but she was hilarious as she came up on stage with the dancers, hiding behind them but we saw her so she peeked out really cute. Hannah was so cute. She seemed a bit shy without her members, and she wanted to know if we had watched her music video. She went off the stage to talk to the staff, we continued to say ‘hi Hannah’ and she didn’t seem to notice us when out of the blue saying ‘hi’ in the microphone. I mean, Hannah is so adorable! #She thanked us for having so much energy and for cheering loudly during each recording #Hannah was hiding at the back of the stage at first, shyly asking if we had seen her video. She said she watched the video with her dancers, actually saying “these people” and motioned at her dancers, saying she is not doing something like that again. I think they are very close, Hannah and the dancers – it is the same dancers that works with 5 Pieces # Hannah wanted us to help her with a cheer she can do with her crew before the stage since 5 Pieces has one but she doesn’t have one. She laughed when someone called her a goddess and she got all cute suggesting to come up with something else, she seemed to really like it when we said “Hannah, you’re burning, fighting!” So that is the new cheer for Puzzle #She stopped the first recording because something was wrong with her in-ear monitor #Hannah kept saying she wasn’t tired, she asked us many times if we were tired because the recording was taking so long. She was very considerate. # Hannah did [New Me] live! She sang perfectly all times and the notes were deeply incredible but she did it effortlessly and she was so amazing! #Even when being tired from performing Hannah said she wasn’t tired, she kept smiling at us # Hannah said Puzzle is the best! # Hannah looked like she wanted to record the performance one more time but she told us the recording for [New Me] was done and asked if we will be here for the next song too – she said we were charming when we answered her xD   MUSIC BANK PRE-RECORDING 2015 # Hannah can’t stop smiling, she said she is happy when looking at us and she said she won at Mnet earlier because of Puzzle, thanking us #Hannah look perfectly great in black, a stunning beauty, absolutely stunning #She cried at M Countdown earlier and she looked embarrassed when we mentioned it. Hannah said her members had been teasing her backstage afterwards because she cried # Hannah asked if we had eaten, saying she had eaten but is hungry again # Hannah was playing around with her dancers, they looked to be making fun of each other for mistakes they had done in the choreography # She was practicing singing some parts without the microphone, her voice is great # Hannah chats more during recording at MuBank than at Mnet, we asked her if she had been nervous the previous day and Hannah said “I was so nervous! Couldn’t you tell?” She was very cute, stretching her arms around and telling us to stay healthy by dancing and eating a lot # Hannah said she still has a schedule after this recording, this recording ended around two in the morning =( She said she was a little bit tired but will eat to regain her strength – and people say she has an eating disorder, she talked a lot about food xD She wished us to get home safely and sleep well ^^,   “Do you regret not sleeping now?” I look up at Manager Lee at his question, my look probably answering him enough because I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open while getting a touch on my makeup. He brought it up a lot over the night, asking if I’m tired and if I regret not sleeping instead of going to the gym. I don’t regret, I just wish I could get an hour of sleep because my head is numb from the lack of sleep but no, the whole night I am at a photo shoot for a fashion brand. It is a lovely photo shoot but I am so tired. “If you finish this quickly you might get time to sleep before the noon radio,” Manager Lee tells me. “Oppa, go sleep somewhere, okay?” I tell him as I am ready to continue the shoot. I look tiredly at him, knowing he too is tired even if he has been sleeping on a chair on set. He doesn’t even know that I took a picture of him sleeping before; I’ll show it to him when I am less sleepy. In a pair of pretty white canvas sneakers, beige wide-leg dress pants and a white dip-back t-shirt in white see-through tugged inside I am posing for the fashion brand. I don’t have any socks on, but the shoes are very comfortable and the laidback style on the set is really nice too. My hair is messy and the point of my makeup is the deep red lips. Honestly speaking, I feel pretty hot in this; the outfit shows off my figure and you can spot my black bra underneath but just the colour of it and the whole concept of the photo shoot suits my tired mind perfectly. The set is a room in white, the floor is grown, there is a two-seated sofa in brown placed a bit away from the wall and a cactus plant put next to it on the floor, the window behind is covered in a picture of a day-view street which is obvious even on camera but it looks better like that than with the night-view. I sit down at the edge of the sofa to begin, looking over my shoulder at the camera while holding my hands down between my legs and my toes on the floor. “Nice,” the female photographer says, “Turn around with your feet on the seat.” I make a swift move to turn around, lifting my legs up and hanging my arms over my knees, I pose differently, my hand in my hair I lean forward and I sit straight, I am told to lift my heels up, to twist a lock of hair around my finger. I have fun posing. The more shoots I do the easier it gets, and now I am too tired to even care of how I look so I let the stylists focus on that and I just pose. I go down to the floor to hold myself up on the sofa with my arms as the photographer suggests that, it is a weird position as I hold my up from the floor but surprisingly it looks okay in the pictures. I feel so tired but my body still moves as the camera makes its sounds after each picture taken. We look through the pictures and do the usual checking, I get my hair styled a bit more and my makeup checked before we continue, turning the view a bit for me to stand by the white wall, with the cactus plant next to me. We have just taken a few pictures when deciding to write on the wall. I don’t write it but I do like it; ‘DO NOT JUDGE’ in English, and we continue while I stand below those words. The photographer wants me to keep my arms up so I place my hands by my head, posing differently in my brown hair and red lips, I play with my hair and hold on to my neck, I drop down my arms and tilt my head to the side. “Nice one!” And that is what I do until late morning when I get to go on my next schedule. After the photo shoot it is radio, Kim Shin Young’s Radio at MBC. I get to sleep in the van while we go from the photo shoot to Manager Lee’s place (I stay in the van to sleep while he showers and changes clothes), we make another stop to buy breakfast but as said; I am sleepy and don’t do anything else than try to sleep as the next location is MBC. Wearing my white shirt and blue jeans, I hide it under a jacket and a blanket to stay warm in the van and when we arrive at MBC I see fans outside the building. I check how I look before taking my bag to go, and I am happy I haven’t removed the makeup from the photo shoot other than the lipstick because behind the makeup I look tired. Fans start cheering when I get out of the van and Manager Lee comes up next to me as we head inside. I smile a bit but I only focus on heading inside and in there I glance at the bag of food he has with him. Breakfast… For the next half hour we are going through the radio program with the producer and I try to sleep the last minutes too before it is time to begin the radio. I had asked if I could eat breakfast during the show, to eat during commercial breaks. It is more like lunch, Kim Shin Young points that out when I take my seat in the radio booth, but she doesn’t mind me eating because she gets some food too – as a professional idol I do never plan on eating at a radio without buying for the DJ too. I think of eating during the radio interview to not show how tired I am, to try keeps myself awake too. But to be sleepy at this radio is pretty difficult as I find myself smiling right away, waking up from the numbness and lack of sleep.  It’s not difficult to smile around Kim Shin Young, she is fun and friendly and though we aren’t close it is always relaxing to be around her, and she is the reason I feel myself more awake than earlier. She has a great personality to be around. “These are delicious,” she points out while tasting the Korean pancakes with shrimps that I have taken with me, but she looks through the window to my manager as I already have told her that my manager was the one buying them. “You have to tell me the restaurant later.” I smile as I eat my pancakes, keeping my eyes on the clock. I don’t think I can finish eating before the commercials are done, but I asked if I could eat during the live and everyone is okay with it; it is not unusual for people to do that at times, sneak a bite during commercial breaks for example. The live broadcast of the radio has started so cameras are focusing on me and Shin Young, I know the broadcast will air the music playing on the radio and not air us talking since the microphones are off. “You were up the whole night?” Kim Shin Young asks me after swallowing another bite of pancakes. “Mm,” I nod, chewing to swallow what I have in the mouth too. “Two nights straight I have been up because my sister went back to Sweden so I turned down sleep the first night to spend some time with her and this night I did a photo shoot.” “Ah,” she looks surprised or impressed, I don’t know. “I heard your sister came to Seoul. It … it was her first time, wasn’t it?” I don’t know who she has talked to but I don’t ask. “Yes, it was her first time.” “What did she think then? But haven’t you been busy? You had your concert last weekend too, did she come along?” “Yeah, she went along to Busan,” I answer, stretching my back a bit and forgetting about eating. “She … I don’t know what she thinks of the country but she hasn’t really understood what work I do other than performing so she was a bit taken back seeing me spend so much time practicing,” I answer. It’s not a professional conversation but more of two people chatting, we aren’t close but we aren’t awkward with each other. “It must have been a big difference for her to see you in your ace country,” Kim Shin Young comments and we both laughs at her saying ‘ace country’. I laugh so hard at it, we are told it is a minute left for the live show and I mention why I laugh so hard for her to know; “Our cat is named Ace.” That makes her laugh even more too; jokingly saying that Ace has become the president of South Korea – since she had said “ace country” – I try to stop laughing so I can drink some water and put on the headphones. “I won’t mention your sister,” Kim Shin Young lets me know, “But we can talk about you staying up all night, right?” “Yes, yes,” I nod, putting the headphones on. “Ask me about anything.” “Like Ace country,” Kim Shin Young jokes and I laugh again. A few seconds later we are on air and she starts talking in a loud and bright tone. We both start off reading out sponsors and some radio competition, saying what the prices are and a few things that we have gone through to say before a two-minute break of commercials is heard. Both Kim Shin Young and I start eating again, she finishes her and thanks for the food while I am taking small bites of my pancakes before spending the last half minute taking sips water to clear my throat. I will be singing live on the radio, so I can’t have food stuck in my throat. We do the opening together before Kim Shin Young starts welcoming today’s guest and the live radio interview has officially started; “Introducing today’s guest is a person who I probably would never meet if I wasn’t a radio DJ. She is a top performer with the girl-group 5 Pieces taking the world by storm and with her first full album release she is more sensual, personal and strong like never before seen. With Kim Shin Young I have the adorable Hannah with me here today!” “Hello everyone, I am Hannah! It’s nice to be here,” I greet myself politely and Kim Shin Young clap her hands for me. “Normally when I meet Hannah like this I would ask for personal introduction because she is always with 5 Pieces, but today … today, people, today she is here as a free spirit and we will go in the depths of Hannah’s solo comeback.” “Oh, we will?” I joke and I can’t stop smiling at how lively she is doing her radio. I am a bit too tired to stop smiling, a bit too overwhelmed over the past days too. “This is your comeback week, isn’t it?” “Yes. I had my first stage yesterday, and this is my first radio appearance.” Kim Shin Young starts applauding when I say it is the first radio, I am fast to follow and she thanks for that it is my first radio appearance while I laugh and clap along. “This is a very busy week for you then and while we were chatting earlier I heard you haven’t even gotten the time to sleep yet,” she mentions. “I slept in the car on my way here,” I answer lightly. “But you must be tired, right?” “Yes, I am tired,” I admit with a sigh, still smiling. “But I’m happy and excited.” “You are happy and excited about your comeback, that is all that matters. I actually have some information here… here it says that Hannah cried at her comeback stage…” I can’t hold back my laughter as she brings that up and she is fast to ask what that is about. “Um… I cried?” I ask, pretending I didn’t but I laugh again and put a hand on my forehead. “But you had a reason to cry, I know that,” Kim Shin Young mentions, chuckling at me funnily. “Yesterday at the comeback stage, your very first stage; your song hit number one on the music chart.” “Yes,” I say and applaud myself. She follows my applauding with a laugh. “Congratulations! So you cried as you found out your song was number one because it was an emotional experience?” she asks. “No, no… um, I cried during the encore stage. I did my best to not start crying but for the encore my members were there and everyone was singing along so … yes, I cried,” I end up admitting. “The song that came in first place…” “It’s called [BLAME],” I explain as she holds out her word for me to continue, “It was pre-released before the album but I got such a surprise hearing it was running up for first place that I had to ask the staff about it.” “You actually asked why your song was running up for first place?” Kim Shin Young laughs at me. “Yeah…” “But aren’t you used to being first place?” she wonders in a nice tone. “Whenever 5 Pieces releases something you have this power to just sweep the charts and take control over everyone’s mind and bodies with your music.” “Woah, not exactly,” I gasp at her exaggeration and she laughs as if she is just fooling around with me, making me smile. “Last year you had a lot of promotions with 5 Pieces, you had promotions not just in Korea but overseas too, right?” “Yes, we had quite a lot of promotions last year from the beginning to the end of the year. Our promotions were focused in Korea though,” I answer while nodding. “And 5 Pieces has already come out with a single overseas this year. How come you had time to prepare for this album?” “Ah…” I laugh at the change of question. I thought she was going to ask about 5 Pieces. “Well… I had quite a lot of time to prepare for it once summer ended, I think.” “We will talk about the album in a bit, but first I want to ask you; you travel quite a lot. I heard you go overseas every week, at least,” Kim Shin Young comments and I giggle. “No, not every week. We do travel quite a lot but not every week.” “Where do you travel the most?” “Um… Recently we have been going to America, but … I think it would be Japan?” I ask while wondering where it could be. “When did you go abroad last time, do you remember?” “Last time I went abroad?” I ask and this is a challenge to remember. “Um… when was it… I have been preparing for my album…” When did I go abroad last time? I know we went to America last month, and I am just about to say it was a few weeks ago because of my album promotions but then I remember that we went to Japan to record. “Ah, last week!” I remember and start laughing as it sounds funny to say ‘I went abroad last week but we don’t go abroad that often’ and Kim Shin Young seems to understand that as she points it out. “You just said you don’t travel every week…” “I know, it’s not that often. I’m not going anywhere this week,” I say while laughing and she starts laughing more too. “No wonder since you are too busy promoting your album this week,” she points out and I am nodding as that is true. “Don’t you get tired of airports though?” “Not really,” I honestly answer, “I love to travel actually, my group enjoys it a lot and we love visiting different places.” “This is an int
