-Chapter 10-

It was lunch time and everyone dashed out of the door at the sound of the bell. Ji-Hyeon stretched her hands as she stood up from her seat, grabbing her lunchbox from her bag.

"Jin sunbae!" a high trilling voice hit Ji-Hyeon's eardrums. When she stood back up, she saw a girl with waist length wavy brunette hair skipping towards Jin. The girl looked at Ji-Hyeon from head to toe before she scoffed and looked back towards Jin. Ji-Hyeon couldn't care less and made he way out of class. Yoongi followed suit ignoring Jin, leaving him to deal with the girl. "Don't mind Shoo. She's always like that. Annoying most of the time you know," Yoongi said as he matched his pace with Ji-Hyeon's.

"Why would I mind her?" she asked sarcastically towards Yoongi who just rolled his eyes. "I was just saying!" he added with a chuckle. Ji-Hyeon just smiled as she followed Yoongi to the cafeteria (?).

"Look! I told you she's here too! What did you think? Jungkook registered here alone without his precious sister? Hell no!" another familiar voice struck Ji-Hyeon's eardrums. She found the owner of the voice sitting at a table at the corner of the cafe with five other boys, one of them was her brother Jungkook. Jimin laughed as he noticed her and high-fived Hoseok as he sat back down. Ji-Hyeon and Yoongi made their way to the group.

"Someone is extremely happy," Ji-Hyeon said as she took a place beside Yoongi after he gestured her to sit there. Jimin couldn't contain his smile and together with Taehyung's dorky smile, Ji-Hyeon couldn't help but to laugh. That was such a sight. "Noona, I think eomma mixed our lunch boxes. She should know I don't eat tuna," Jungkook said from in front of you. Ji-Hyeon looked inside her lunch box and sure enough, ham sandwich. "Eomma must be in a hurry this morning," she said as she took her lunch box from Jungkook.

Jin sprinted into the cafe, his face glistened with beads of sweat. He immediately made his way to their table and sat beside Ji-Hyeon. "Can I ask you why you were running? Are there a sports event that you're participating? And why is everyone looking at us?" Ji-Hyeon asked Jin just as he sat.

"Chill Ji-Hyeon. Can't a boy catch his breath?" Namjoon said from across the table with a smile showing his dimple on his left cheek. Ji-Hyeon just rolled her eyes "Okay. Alright. Sorry Jin. I just wanted to know," she said with a sigh.

"Owh. Ji-Hyeon is changing! I can sense that her real side is coming out!" Hoseok said from beside Yoongi which made her reach out her hand to smack Hoseok at the back of his head. But since Yoongi was in between them, he got hit too. "Ouch!?"

"Sorry Yoongi. I aimed for Hoseok but you were there," Ji-Hyeon said with a smile on her face. "Jungkook, if this is how Ji-Hyeon is, she is slightly creeping me out," Yoongi added as he playfully scooched towards Hoseok. Taehyung couldn't help but to laugh at the situation in front of him with Jimin at his side. Jungkook acted like he didn't see anything and kept on biting into his sandwich. Ji-Hyeon shot her glaring eyes towards Yoongi before continuing with her own sandwich.

"The Jeon siblings. They care more for the food," Taehyung said.

"Speak for yourself Tae," Ji-Hyeon managed to say in between her bites. Laughter erupted from the boys. "Wow. Tae just got burned!" Namjoon said while wiping his eyes from the tears that formed.

"Yeah Jin. I think you have enough time to catch your breath. Answer me," she asked Jin again.

"Sheesh Ji-Hyeon you're sounding like a very demanding girlfriend. One, I just got away from the most notorious girl in school, 'Miss Oh-so-fabulous' Shoo," he said it while holding his hand out as if he was making quotation mark. "Second, the kids are looking here because you're new to this school," he added as a matter of fact-ly. Ji-Hyeon rolled her eyes behind those big glasses of hers. "I don't buy it," she said.

"Suit yourself then," Jin said as he took a bite of his salad. The possible explanation in her head now is that she is, currently, mingling with the popular gang of the school, judging by the way some of the girls are looking, or literally glaring, towards her. That could be far fetch but that was the best explanation that she could come out in her mind. But, no use in digging the answers from the boys. She knew from her experience of knowing the boys for one and a half months, that if one doesn't want to answer the question, the rest will keep quiet. Even Jungkook just shrugged his shoulders.

"Alright hyungs. And noona. I'll make a move first!" Jungkook said as he made his way out of the cafe with eyes following his tall figure, mostly from the first year girls. "My little brother is going to be the popular guy again," she said with a sigh.

"Why, you don't like it?" Namjoon asked and within seconds, all ears at the table were on her.

"Not that I don't like it. I just don't want to hear him whining about this later. He doesn't actually like it but he couldn't help it. With his looks he could get any girl. A total opposite of me the geek," she answered with a sigh. She fell silent. 'Jeon Ji-Hyeon, you didn't just talked about that with someone else. And they are boys too!' she screamed in her head.

"You're pretty too you know that Ji-Hyeon," Jin said from beside her with a awkward tone. Hot blood rushed to her cheek as she heard Jin's compliment. The boys chorused an "Uuuuuuuu~" as Hoseok added "Mr Smooth made his move." Ji-Hyeon just rolled her eyes. "You better be glad I only have two hands and both of them are occupied holding a sandwich because if not I will strangle each and every one of you," she said with her best murderous look.

"Conclusion, the real Ji-Hyeon is scary. But we like it!" Taehyung said with his usual dorky smile as he high fived Jimin. "True that," he responded.
