thoughts PLOT: I've never actually come across Odd Thomas, which the author cites as an inspiration, but I enjoyed this, so I think I'm going to look it up. I can't really say too much about the plot without spoiling (unless you know Odd Thomas too, I guess), but this becomes a pretty angsty read because, as it says in the description, one of them has to let go of the other forever, and it was handled in a manner that fit the Exodus theme for my writing competition beautifully. Kyungsoo, having being semi-ostracised for most of his life for being the boy with the "odd eye", is befriended by a girl who manages to pull him out of his shell, and then they end up dating.

CHARACTERISATION: The characterisation in this was a tricky beast, because the timeline skipped back and forth. Despite that, the author was in full control, which meant that the characterisation and the emotions portrayed from one scene to the next n
