Oh Sehun is a millionaire playboy, heir to his father's company, and he's looking for a wife. However, Sehun hates the idea of love and the responsibilities that come from being anybody's significant other. After a marriage meeting with Kim Nayeon due to his mother's insistence, the two strike a deal that would benefit them both while still being able to carry out their duties to their families. Over time, their union turns into something that neither of them expected.

Following their meeting, Sehun begins having strange dreams, all of the same nature. He dreams of bleeding rain, black skeletal horses with wings, visions of himself living different lives in different times. At his side every time in his visions is his wife, Kim Nayeon. Sehun decides to seek out another participant of his dreams, a man that he has never met.

From this man, Sehun learns that a battle has been raging on for centuries between the deities of heaven and hell. Somehow he and Nayeon have been connected with the ongoing bloodshed not only in their present lives but in their past ones as well.

Only this time, the angels of heaven cannot contain the angels of hell from wreaking havoc on earth.
