Park Ara hates rich people who don't know the toughness of life, but unfortunately she attends a prestigious school, that is filled with spoiled adolescents, with a scholarship because certain circumstances force her to do so. That is something she can still endure, though, by ignoring the existence of the other students. However, things change when her little sister transfers to the same school and falls for one of the so-called Kings of her school...

While trying to save her little sister from heartbreak, she meets with those Kings more than she'd like. Especially one of them. Before Ara can grasp what's happening, she finds herself doing something she has never wanted. Falling in love.

But can a heart that is hardened towards this world love? How can one easily trust another person after years of being cautious and suspicious?

A story about the struggles of life, and within it, a girl who can't afford to fall in love, and yet, still does.

thoughts PLOT: I won't lie: much about this plot was a cliché, and the author even says so. However, it was for the most part a nicely done cliché. It still retained its spark which brought it to life as a story, and that's always nice to see, not to mention that the clichés actually made sense and felt natural rather than feeling as though the story had been bent around them. The story itself is quite simple and predictable, without much in the way of subplots, which I thought was a pity (more, for instance, could have been made of the stories of the characters other than Sehun and Ara – we see a tiny glimpse of Luhan and of Miyoung, and a very tiny bit of Kai is hinted at – though I guess that some of that is dealt with in the spin-off with Miyoung's story), but which wouldn't necessarily have been needed to keep the story interesting.

However, I do have to say that I was expecting a slightly different story both from the description and from the title. From the title, I was expecting a lot more angst (I actually like stories that don't have too much angst, so I was kind of grateful for this) and possibly some action, because I couldn't find the fear. I also thought, from the description, that there would be many more run-ins with the other EXO characters, but other than Sehun and Kai, they barely feature, and that much more could have been made of the set-up in the description.
