thoughts PLOT: In Hye is a werewolf princess, ostracised by her family and at school, and the person who's supposed to be her mate is not only human, but couldn't be more dislikable towards her. He's also already dating. And there's something monstrous lurking out in the forest...

The whole werewolf my-mate-hates-me plot isn't an unusual one, but it's nice to see one that's done well – particularly when OC wolf fics are hard to come by. It's even more gratifying to see one where the budding relationship between the wolf and the mate isn't all based purely on physical attraction (and where the girl is the werewolf and not the human). Thrown together by not just one but two serendipitous school projects where they have to collaborate – the first being a get-to-know-each-other one and the second being about mythological animals (Sehun just has to choose werewolves) – Sehun and In Hye gradually start to grow closer, and he even begins to take an interest in her photography hobby. He also believes that werewolves don't exist, claiming that they would be monsters if they did (which hurts In Hye's heart), but enjoys himself in the forest with the remarkable tame, white-furred wolf princess. And of course, his girlfriend is not at all happy that he's spending more and more time with another girl.

So far, it feels like the story has been focussing more on their relationship and setting things up, but there have been hints that something big is on its way, and I'm looking forward to seeing what
