Then, in their final year of school, Hana decides to give up chasing Chanyeol, because he's clearly not interested, at the same time that Chanyeol dumps the only girlfriend he's had long term, ends up with the locker next to Hana's, finds himself her seatmate in Chemistry and also joins the soccer team, for which Hana has been volunteering for some time to help out with the medical side of things. The previous year, all that would have been perfect, but Hana is trying to forget Chanyeol... and this time, he's the one popping up wherever she is rather than the other way round, and it starts to look like he's enjoying her company.
It's an entertaining quagmire of high school crush politics, this one, mixed in with some fairly dirty humour on occasion.
CHARACTERISATION: I'm not sure whether this ought to go in plot or characterisation, but I personally felt that the plot would have remained much stronger if (I'm not going to spoil by saying who it is) Chanyeol's long-time crush hadn't been who it was. Or, if he hadn't had one. I know that people can do weird and interesting things when they're crushing on somebody (the "he's bullying you because he has a crush on you and doesn't know how to express it without making a fool out of himself" thing springs to mind), but even given the mentality that Chanyeol is presented with as having (which he shows nothing of, which was also a shame) didn't tally up with his actions, and t
