I followed after Shinwoo. He took large strides towards the door and pushed it open with much force. He was mad, anyone could tell.

“Speak.” He turned around to face me immediately once we’re out of the door away from their sight.

I rubbed my nape. How do I start?

“Min Hee… we’re not what you guys think.”

“Then?”

I looked past his eyes, people were walking by, taking curious glances at us.

“I don’t know how to start.”

“Well, I don’t want to know okay. But don’t hurt her anymore.”

“You like her do you?” I stared at him. I was aware of his feelings, but he gave in and took care of her like a brother instead. I thought it was the best for all of us.

“Doesn’t even matter.” I lowered his head and grabbed his nape. His voice was soft.

I clenched my fist again. Maybe they were meant to be.

“She’s totally forgotten about me. Maybe you could love her now.”

His head jerked up in an instant. His expression wasn’t surprised. It was fury. Without a word, Shinwoo grabbed my collar and hissed.

“Do you even know what you’re saying?! You’re a disappointment.” He pushed me away with so much force that I clashed into the wall. It hurt, but not any painful than my heart.

I squatted down slowly as though all the energy had been drained from my body, and sunk my head into my arms over my knees. Something warm fell from my eyes.

“She won’t remember me. You… know it too.” I could feel my nails digging into my palms. Raising my left arm, I punched the ground on my side.

I heard him sighed.

“Fix this. Fix her. FIX US! JUNG JINYOUNG I KNOW YOU LOVE HER. DON’T MAKE ME PUNCH YOU. DON’T YOU DARE SAY THAT AGAIN. NOW GET IN AND START OVER.”

His angry loud voice shook me deep down. Something within me was ignited. I was clearheaded in an instant. Yes. We could start over. I’ll make her fall for me again. YES! YES! YES!

I jotted up from my position and grabbed Shinwoo shoulders. He stared wide-eyed at my unexpected reaction to his words.  

“THANKYOU HYUNG. THANKYOU!” I took off immediately leaving dumbfounded Shinwoo at the pavement.

I ran for a long time. I didn’t keep track of where I was. Then I stopped on my tracks and settled down on a bench beside the main road. Catching my breath, I took out my phone and sent a message. Maybe she had already changed my name in her contacts list, but it was worth a shot.

Hi princess, how are you? Kekeke

Now I’ll just have to wait for her reply.

*text tone*

It came earlier than expected.

Mr. Mysterious? O.O

“YES!” I cheered, she didn’t change it. She wouldn’t know.

Yes Princess, your prince at your service.

It was a good start. A start of something new. I knew that I would have to use whatever means to get her to fall in love with me again. To start talking to her again, this identity would be the most appropriate. We started off as strangers, we could do it again.

We chatted for the whole time. Even though nothing about me rings a bell in her, but she wasn’t hostile towards my existence.

Like old days. Old friends reunited.

Shall I meet you in the library tomorrow at 3?
