"Kyungsoo?"

"Chanyeol?"

"What are you doing here?" they asked in unison.

"D-don't tell me, they planned this?" Kyungsoo said with a terrified look in his face.

"I think they did," Chanyeol smiled. "Ya, you look like you've seen a ghost. Don't look at me like that." Chanyeol pouted.

Kyungsoo scoffed. "Because you are a ghost. You're dead to me," Kyungsoo spatted.

Chanyeol couldn't help but accept it. Chanyeol passed by Kyungsoo and offered him a seat. Kyungsoo gave him a confused look. "Our children planned this for us. Let's not disappoint them," Chanyeol said.

Kyungsoo sat on a different table. "Okay," Kyungsoo replied. He looked at the menu as a distraction.

Chanyeol sighed at Kyungsoo's stubbornness and sat on the chair across Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo looked up on his menu and he saw Chanyeol in front of him, smiling and his hand propped on the table to support his chin. Kyungsoo covered his face with the menu so Chanyeol can't see his flushing face. Chanyeol thought that Kyungsoo was so beautiful with what he was wearing. Plain white v-neck shirt and black jeans with black Jordan shoes. He's like he was still a teenager without kids. Chanyeol couldn't help but let out a small laugh. Kyungsoo looked at him, confused.

"What? Why are you laughing?"

"Nothing. I just thought of our first date, that's all," Chanyeol said. 

Kyungsoo closed the menu and leaned his back on the chair. "Yeah, our first date when you were really late and almost made me cry."

"Almost? You did cry," Chanyeol teased.

"I did not. You just forgot," Kyungsoo defended.

The waiter interrupted their conversation to ask for their orders. After they ordered, it was silent. When their orders arrived, they ate silently. Chanyeol gave the flowers to Kyungsoo which the latter took with a blush on his face. Chanyeol looked at Kyungsoo who was busy eating his food. 

"Kyungsoo," Chanyeol started. "I'm sorry for everything. I know that I'm stupid and didn't think clearly at all before. Can you forgive me?"

Kyungsoo stopped eating. He sighed and looked at Chanyeol. "You know, if only we didn't have children, I probably killed you and Baekhyun. I probably found a new husband. And if only I..." Kyungsoo swallowed his imaginary spit. "If only I didn't love you but unfortunately, I couldn't forget you. Heck, I couldn't stop loving you. I heard you apologizing to me before about a mistake that you did and I've never expected it to be something so big but when you fell asleep at that time, I told you that I will forgive you." Chanyeol reached out for Kyungsoo's hand but Kyungsoo pulled his hand. "But, after 18 years, I couldn't just forgive you yet, Chanyeol."

Chanyeol felt a pang on his chest due to Kyungsoo's action and words. Chanyeol nodded in understanding. "I know, I know, Soo. I just want you to know that I'm really sorry. After 18 years, I, too, couldn't stop loving you, Soo. Can we start over again?"

"It's not that easy, Yeol. We're going back to square one now. After 18 years, we're like strangers with memories of each other."

"Want me to court you again?"

Kyungsoo chuckled. "Are you sure? Now's your chance to find someone else, you know."

Chanyeol shook his head. "I don't need to find someone else because I found you already."

Kyungsoo let out a nervous laugh and tightened his grip on the brown envelope. Chanyeol noticed. "I've noticed that you're holding that brown envelope like your life depends on it. What's that?" he asked with a smile. 

"Try to look at it by yourself," Kyungsoo said and glided the envelope towards Chanyeol. Chanyeol opened the envelope and his smile faltered after he read the content. He looked at Kyungsoo sadly with a facial expression that says why? It was the divorce papers.
