I could see Do Kyungsoo startled by my unnoticed visit. His round eyes getting more rounded, if that’s even possible. Very cute.

“Joonmyun oppa said you’ll stay alone the whole weekend,” I said, and he only nodded as he stepped backward, giving me enough space to come inside his dorm.

Honestly, I didn’t have this privilege very often. EXO’s rules were pretty strict, and Kyungsoo wasn’t the type who liked to get dwelled into petty fight just so his girlfriend could visit more often. Contrary to him, Baekhyun always got himself troubles with their manager because of this particular rule. Well, since he’s dating the woman who brought most profit in SM, they couldn’t really do anything at the end, but still, Kyungsoo and I decided to not be like them. We didn’t really want to get into such trouble.

And to make up for it, Kyungsoo visited me instead. We had some rules in dating, but to compare to EXO’s ours were pretty loose. Besides, my dormmates were pretty busy with their individual projects lately.

“I just met Jieun,” I continued, taking off my jacket as I walked inside, following him behind.

“I thought she’s busy preparing her album, didn’t you mention before?” he muttered loud enough to me to hear.

I nodded, although he hardly saw it.

“Yes, and she let me listen to some,” I added.

I heard him hummed short before commenting lucky you. “Chocolate or coffee?” he spoke as he walked towards his wide open kitchen offering me my favorite choices.

“I’m hungry,” I replied nothing from his options instead.

He looked at me with questioning look from the kitchen to only earn my grin.

As I let fall my body to his couch, I watched him stayed still with his one eyebrow lifted. I’m not cooking you anything, seemed bare enough through his expression.

“I’m craving for something sweet,” I continued, ditching his warning.

“Are you hungry or craving?” he asked with a slight annoyed tone, arms crossed in front of his chest.

Chuckling lightly, I mouthed both and earned a heavy sigh. He gave up so fast.

“You know you can’t stay for long, right?”

“I know, but Joonmyun oppa himself told me to come,” I defended.

“He did?”

I hummed and nodded although he didn’t seem to need an answer.

It’s not the first time Joonmyun let me come, as if inviting. I didn’t bother to question his intention since I mostly declined it, knowing well Kyungsoo wouldn’t like it. Most of my visit was when he himself brought me in, and usually it’s because he needed to get some left stuff before we going. But this time was different. I needed to confirm something, and I felt like it would drain me if I didn’t do it any sooner.

After seeing Jieun and having that long talk, I thought I should ask Kyungsoo himself. I didn’t like getting anxious for something that I could get the answer easily. I just needed to ask and clear everything. That’s basically why I brought myself here right after Joonmyun told me the rest EXO were out the whole weekend.

Rising from my seat, I went straight to where my boyfriend working on my pancakes. He started frying when I stood behind his back.

“Why?” he asked, sensing my presence.

“Just want to watch you close,” I muttered, closing my eyes.

As I thought, no matter how people commented on his height, he was indeed much taller than me. I remembered that whenever I hugged him, my head would always rest on his chest, a perfect place to lean on. Listening to his heartbeat was my favorite, it calmed me in certain way.

And now I was craving to hug him.

“Eunji, don’t hug me, it’s dangerous,” he warmed me, even before I did it.

His stoic tone brought me to laugh. And as if being challenged, I extended my hands instead, slipping between his arms, and back hugged him.

He sighed, again gave up so fast.

I chuckled on his back, and buried my face instead.

Kyungsoo didn’t complain anymore and instead, continued finishing my request. And I, too, didn’t let him free, sticking to his back as he moved carefully in front of his electric stove.
