joonmyun - ugly
jung eunji and himugly
Tuesday evening.
His eyes were locked on the big screen, arms crossed, back leaned uncomfortably onto the sofa behind. Sitting next to him were the eldest members, both Lay and Xiumin, and he was in the middle. Xiumin was quite busy chewing his snack while Lay didn’t pay attention on anything but the television. And him, he was complaining silently. It wasn’t the best position as he somehow felt a bit intimidated. He sighed and it was the seventh.
“Chae Soobin is beautiful, right?” Lay said.
“Um,” both Xiumin and he nodded.
“Young and beautiful,” Lay continued, “her acting is so good.”
Another um was made from the other males.
“Too bad she’s the villain.” Um, this seems going a bit far, Xiumin thought. “I wish she’s the main lead here,” okay, I think I know where this going to end, should I stop him, Xiuming thought. “It would be better if she played Kang Yeondoo.”
Lay was oblivious, Xiumin’s sure about it. He then glanced at the leader, checking his reaction. And just like what he predicted, Joonmyun was muted, his body tensed up and Lay didn’t seem realize it.
“Ey, but Eunji-ssi’s acting is no different. And I think she plays Yeondoo so well,” Xiuming tried to help.
Lay hummed, stretching his neck, “does she? I don’t know. I only see Chae Soobin.”
Ops. Xiumin tried to help again, this time he chuckled, a little bit sounded like a fake though, and it surely didn’t help.
“So, you think Eunji-ssi shouldn’t do the drama?” Joonmyun said. His voice didn’t sound friendly. Xiumin sighed next to him, knowing this would be like this. While Lay, somebody had to help him, seriously.
“I didn’t say that. I just said Chae Soobin should be the main lead, get the love, get the whole story.”
“Why don’t you make one for her then?!”
Uh oh. Kim Joonmyun didn’t sound like him anymore. This was so childish, Xiumin tried hard to control his laugh.
Lay was taken aback, from his expression he was both clueless and annoyed at the same time. Clueless of why Kim Joonmyun suddenly yelled at him. And annoyed because his leader just raised his voice. Oh, and one more thing, does Joonmyun just disagree to what I thought? He thought.
So, he frowned, now ditching the television.
“Just so you know, Kim Joonmyun. Chae Soobin surely deserves her own drama. Her acting is superb. She’s so damn beautiful, and … cute. If I have the power to make her one, I will. But who I am? I’m just an exo member. I don’t have money to make her a drama. How can you ask me that?”
Sigh. Joonhyum sighed, and groaned after.
“That’s not what I mean,” quietly he muttered as he leaned back to the sofa.
“Why you even asked then?” Lay pouted, and it was when Xiumin lost. He burst into such loud laughter.
Joonmyun knew his mistake. So, he preferred clossing his face under his palms, feeling like he run out energy, suddenly. While Lay, seriously, someone had to help this cute confused guy.
“Don’t argue Yixing,” Xiumin said after he managed his laughter. “He’s too strong, Joon.”
“I know.”
“Wait,” and Lay wasn’t satisfied, “what you guys mean?”
“Just forget it,” Joonmyun said. He swung his hand to the screen, “there, your Chae Soobin seems miserable. You should help her.”
“Oh,” Lay sighed after. His attention returned to the screen right when Soobin’s name was said. “Why she did that? She shouldn’t have left Yeondoo on that shop. People will hate her more,” and he groaned.
“True, but it’s okay, you will help her anyway,” another punch from the annoyed Joonmyun.
“Seriously, what is your problem?”
And Xiumin burst into another loud laughter, “you guys … don’t stop! This is getting interesting!”
Joonmyun rolled his eyes.
“Look, Kim Joonmyun, don't you see Yeondoo has so many knights? Yang Saem, Yeol, Dongjae, and look, Hajoon! Uh, wait,” Lay stopped speaking. There was a sudden urge to stop talking when Seo Hajoon threw his bike away, walking and heaving to the crying Kang Yeondoo.
All shut their mouth. Even Joonmyun.
