Week One

After the phone number exchanging incident, it was the first time I had to try really hard to tolerate that boy’s blabber mouth about Taeyeon. It all happened when Taeyeon had to excuse herself to the bathroom and I had to wait for her by the locker area. I saw him and his group of friends giggling like little girls. My hands automatically balled into a fist

He and his gang stopped by at one of the lockers, “Yah, is it true that you got Taeyeon-sshi’s number?”

“Yeah Baek, I heard you scored!” That Baekhyun dude beamed widely, “Y-yeah, I thought she wasn’t going to give it but she did… So…”

Baekhyun dude blushed and laughed like a little girl and I just wanted to punch his face

A tall guy patted his back, “Nice! Guess you’re taking things slowly then all at once huh?”

“Yeah. I’ll make sure to get her before the new school semester starts”

“That’s cool Baek, you know who to turn to when you need some help or tips, if you know what I mean”

And they all laughed. Okay, maybe I could just throw my image just for today—

“Tiffany, where are you going?” The laughing died down when Taeyeon came out, “Shall we go now?”

I nodded and smiled, “Would you like to make a stop before I take you home?”

She beamed widely, “Really?!” I nodded again, “Yeah, really”

She held my hand and continued to smile, “Thanks, now let’s go!”

Then the next thing I know I was being dragged away from those idiots. Ha! In yo face Baekhyun dude!

When her first week of practice finally came, I actually had to endure each and everything for her. Like I had to learn how to compose myself whenever they are together or whenever that boy steal glances at my Taeyeon or whenever he constantly talks about her every single time he was with his friends. 

It actually cost me more of my will power when I first accompanied her to practice. I stopped by in front of her practice room breathed heavily. Giving myself heads up about her choreography . Now I know what she could be doing with that scrawny little dude, it made my blood boil

I started walking up to her and stopped when I was finally facing her back, “Hey” She looked up at me and I smiled. She stood up and gave me a hug, “Hey”

We both sat and rested our backs on the wall, I just couldn’t help myself but ask her questions, “So… When are you going to start practicing?”

“When Baekhyun comes” I snorted, oh, so that little boy managed to level up, “Oh, I didn’t know you’re not using any honorifics to him anymore”

Taeyeon frowned, “Tiffany, the kid is younger than me and we agreed not to use anymore since it’s sort of awkward”

I sighed, don’t make your woman mad Tiffany, “Fine, I give, I’m sorry” She continued to smile, “That’s my girl”

I beamed widely at her. Phew, that was a close one Tiffany, a close one! I think she was about to say something but—

“Sorry, sorry I’m late! I had to finish something” Oh yeah, of course he had to appear now, he then stood beside me, oh how I wanted to punch him in the face, “Hi Taeyeon, oh, hi to you too, Tiffany-sshi”

He bowed politely and I smiled a little, you just wait you little prick, “So uhh, are we going to start now?”

Taeyeon shrugged, “I think so, maybe we should ask them” She then pointed at a group of people and the little dude glanced at them. He looked back at my Taeyeon and smiled, “I’ll ask them”

Okay, where can I get some acid to splash on his face!? Taeyeon nudged my right arm and I looked at her, “What!?”

She shook her head, “Be nice” I huffed and pouted. Okay so why does she keep saving that little dude?! Shouldn’t she be taking my side?!

“So, what did they say?” That Baekhyun guy clasped his hands, “We’re going to start within ten minutes, so we should start warming up”

Oh, so the torture time is about to start, I gulped and tried my best to look normal, “Go, I’ll be watching”

She smiled at me, “Remember to be nice Stephanie Hwang, I mean it” Of course she had to ask me of that, so I sighed heavily and then saluted, “Yes ma’am!”

She giggled and went to the center of the floor and started warming up. Okay, why didn’t I even notice she was wearing that shirt?! Oh god… Am I seeing abs? Okay, stop, stop it Tiffany! STOP IT YOU ! But… Ugh… Her, her… Okay, look away, just look away, goddamn it! Argh!

Taeyeon turned around and faced me, oh my god?! Did she notice?! Taeyeon smirked and started lifting her arms up and bent her waist to the side. Okay, so she did notice… I could feel the blood rushing to my face, god! This is so embarrassing!

She bent a little more, okay Taeyeon, stop. She smiled innocently and showed more of her abs, okay Kim Taeyeon, stop. STOP, JUST STAHP! Their choreographer called them up, thank you lord! She then winked and walked away. Did she just? Oh god, the things she do…

They started talking to their instructor about the choreography. Oh, so now she’ll finally know what she’s going to dance. I sat there on my own and tried to calm myself. ‘It’s just a dance’ I repeated in my head like a mantra and when I’ve finally calmed myself, I looked at them trying to do the first moves of the dance
