Thank you guys so much for reading my fic, all the subscriptions, the up votes and (ESPECIALLY) the comments meant so much to me. I actually considered discontinuing this story once or twice (when I suffered writer's block) but the comments are what kept me going and made me update so frequently.

Q: What inspired The Heiress?

A: I can't even remember, to be honest. I think I was just jotting down random plot lines when this one somehow came to mind. My little sister helped fine-tune the details.

Q: why didn't Penelope end up with Kai or Sehun?

A: I know, how could I not make the main character end up with the other main character? PLOT TWIST: Kai was never the main character. This story was, from the beginning, Penelope's story. Her love for Kai and Sehun were both real but they weren't permanent. They were fleeting. The message I wanted to put across with this fic is that sometimes, things don't go the way you think they will. Sometimes, the girl doesn't end up with the first guy she loved, sometimes she doesn't end up with the second guy she fell for while she was still with the first guy...sometimes life throws you a curveball. And sometimes that curveball turns out to be the best thing that's ever happened to you.

So while this might have seemed like a Kai fic, it wasn't. It's a Penelope fic that has Kai and the other boys
