Hangovers and Confessions
Clairvoyance
N POV~
He groans as he wakes up. The light coming through the curtains was too bright and he could heart his heartbeat thumping loudly in his sensitive head. Oh great. He just loved hangovers. He rolls his eyes at himself and moves onto his stomach, covering his head with a pillow.
"Get up." Leo's voice whispers near his ear. N know's he's trying to be quiet but it sounds like he's screaming and now N has a headache. "We have to go open Hyde. The kids are already downstairs."
"You don't have to yell Taekwoon..." N turns his head to glare at Leo from under the pillow. "I'm calling in dead okay?"
"Not funny Hakyeon." Leo growls and sits up. N feels nervous at the gleam in his eyes and the small smirk that plays across his lips. "You're getting up."
"Bite me..." N mumbles and hides his head under the pillow again.
"If I have to..." No sooner had Leo spoken than N felt a shift on the bed. Suddenly Leo was smacking his hard enough to make it sting, leaning down to nip at N's neck. "Get up. Or I'll start sleeping on the couch." N shivered at the feeling of Leo's breath on his neck.
"O-okay... I'll get up." N blushes and sits up quickly. He feels Leo wrap his arms around his waist and kiss his neck. What had happened that Leo was suddenly acting this way? He barely even remembered the night before...
"Good boy." Leo gave N a light pat on the hip before standing up. "Be down in ten minutes. I'll have coffee ready. Don't make me come back up here to get you." As N hears the bedroom door close behind Leo he's left incredibly confused but more than ready to find out where this will lead today.
Leo POV~
Leo had woken up determined to change things between N and himself. He knew now what had been upsetting N so much and he was ready to fix it. He may even confess his feelings. As much as he didn't feel worthy, if it was what made N happy then who was he to deny him?
He makes N's favorite coffee as he watches the clock, silently timing the tan man. Less than a minute before the time limit expires N drags himself down the stairs. He was in a baggy shirt and sweatpants, his hair still messy, big sunglasses on.
"Poor baby has a hangover." Leo tries to conceal his smile with sympathy as he kisses N's cheek and hands him the coffee. "Next time don't drink so much okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." N sounds irritated, like a cat that got shoved into a full bathtub. "Whatever." He sips at the coffee and sits down at the table. The others had already eaten and were setting up to open Hyde, leaving N and Leo alone.
"Hey Hakyeon..." Leo slides a plate with a bagel and cream cheese on it in front of N. "I need to tell you something..." He leans in close, pressing his lips against N's. "Your pants are inside out." He chuckles and gets up, ruffling N's hair. "Eat and fix your pants okay? I'll go open Hyde." He leaves the room, smiling to himself. He was going to confess to N today. But he was going to make N sweat a little first as punishment. He should have just told Leo what was wrong rather than having to get drunk.
Ken POV~
He was glad that he and Ravi had made it home fairly early the night before. At least he had a pretty okay night of sleep and wasn't completely wrecked. Unlike N. He had caught a glance of his tanned friend as he helped Hongbin stock the display case and his tan friend looked like death warmed over at best.
"What happened to Hakyeon?" He questions Hongbin as they finish setting up and Leo unlocks the front door.
"Oh. He went on a bender." Hongbin laughs and shakes his head. "Sometimes when Hakyeon can't handle his emotions and he's just one step below projectile vomiting he gets drunks. He tried to make out with me last night."
"Was he good?" Ken questions, suddenly curious. With lips like N's he figures it'd either be awkward or hot. He wasn't sure which.
"Actually it was nice." Hongbin shrugs and smiles. "Surprising as hell but nice."
"I bet." Ken chuckles and notices Ravi glance at him. He blushes and waves to his boyfriend. "I'll stick to Wonshik kisses though." He bounces over to Ravi and gives him a big, greatful kiss.
Ravi POV~
"Hey Jaehwan." He grins and kisses his boyfriend's cheek before going back to sweeping the floor. "How's it going?"
"Hakyeon has a hang over and apparently kissed Hongbin." Ken started to gossip as he scrubbed at a table just to have something to do. Ravi listened intently as he swept up the mess he and Ken had made coming in the night before.
"I'm kind of sad that we missed that." Ravi laughs as Byoungjun and his group came in followed close by Soomi and her friends.
"How are my es today!?" Soomi smiles as she sits down on her brother's lap.
"Shhh." Leo glares at her. "Hakyeon is in the back with a headache."
"Hangover..." Hyuk corrects, receiving a look of death from Leo. "What? He kissed my boyfriend. I'm not keeping his dirty little secrets today." He shrugs and gets back to taking orders.
Hongbin POV~
"It was weird." Hongbin pouts as he leans against the coffee counter, crossing his arms across his chest. As soon as Leo had come to the rescue last night Hongbin and Hyuk had disappeared into Hyde to eat while they waited for N to pass out, giving N and Leo some much needed alone time.
"He's pretty great isn't he?" Byoungjun questions, recieving a punch in the arm from Daehwan.
"He kind of is." Hongbin admits, recieving a glare from Hyuk that warned of a very cold night ahead of him if he discussed it any more.
"But he and Taekwoon kissed when they saved me." Maia chimes in.
"Ooooo. Hakyeon gets around!" Soomi giggles and Soohyun covers , only making her laugh more.
"I'm putting an end to this..." Leo storms into the back room and returns quickly, dragging a very disgruntled and unfabulous N behind him.
"Taekwoon. What the hell?" N whines as his sunglasses fall off, wincing at the brightness of the lights. Leo silences him pretty quickly with a rather intense kiss, gripping N's slim waist.
"Hakyeon. You're my boyfriend. Are you okay with this?" Leo asks and N nods, clearly too surprised to say anything. "So it's settled. He's mine. No more talking about how good of a kisser he is." He picks up N and takes him into the back room again. No way did that really just happen. Hongbin's kiss with N must have given him brain damage.
Hyuk POV~
"Taekwoon is bad at confessions." Soomi smiles as she plays with a thread on Soohyun's shirt. "But hey. Now maybe Hakyeon won't make out with Hyukkie's boyfriend anymore."
"I kind of liked his confession." Maia blushes as she takes a small bite of a muffin. "It was manly."
"Does that mean you're over Sanghyuk?" Kiseop looked hopeful as Hyuk sat their orders on the table.
"You don't love me anymore Soomi?" He laughs and hands her a coffee. "And just when I thought I'd give in."
"Sorry Hyukkie." She shrugs and leans against Soohyun as she drings her coffee. "I've moved on. And no Kiseop. Not to you. Just accept Jaeseop's heart already."
"But... I..." Kiseop pouts as AJ turns bright red.
"Shut up Soomi!" AJ growls and looks at Soohyun. "Control your girlfriend."
"Soomi does what she wants." Soohyun smiles, unphased by his sister being called his girlfriend.
"You weirdos have fun." Hyuk chuckles as he walks away to get Byoungjun's group's order.
"Yo Nakhun!" Soomi yells across the room. "I told you it wasn't going to be a romantic confession! You owe me ice cream!"
"Damn him!" Nakhun shakes his head, smiling. "Fine. I'll buy you ice cream Soomi. Honestly I'm surprised he confessed at all."
"You two were betting on the personal lives of our friends?" Yoonchul shakes his now pouting boyfriend's shoulders with amusement. "You guys are messed up. You know that?"
"I'm kind of sad nobody let me in on the bet." Daehwan eats a fry as he smiles. "I'd be getting ice cream."
"Oh. I'm incapable of getting you ice cream now?" Byoungjun ruffles his boyfriend's hair. "Jerk." The room was full of laughter and good natured chatter. Leo and N were a couple now. It always amazed Hyuk how close all these people were, how much he'd miss every one of them if they disappeared. Even though when he fist came to Hyde, even Hongbin annoyed him. He desperately wished they could remain one giant family like this for the rest of their hopefully long lives.
