“So wait…you’re going to be the heiress of an entertainment company?” He repeated, unbelievingly.

“Yes. See my grandparents are the owners of the company. My parents refused to take charge of the company. My grandparents were still young then, so it wasn’t a really big deal. However, now that my grandparents are older they are looking for some one to take over the company when they pass away or retire. Since, again, my parents didn’t want to take over the company, the only way that we could keep the company within family ownership was if I agreed to take charge of it.” I told him. He looked at me with a new found curiosity.

“So did you really take that trip to China?” He asked. I nodded.

“I did but it was on plans to expand in to China.” I told him.

“So most of this time you were lying to us…” Yoseob drifted off, sounding upset. I sighed. I knew that my lies were going to come back to haunt me.

“Technically yes but I kept it a secret from everyone one because those were orders from my grandparents. I didn’t do it by choice.” I tried to explain.

“So know all knows about you being an heiress?” He questioned.

“Well Momo, Tohru, Hyunseung, and Jungmin excluding the company of course.” I responded. Yoseob stared at the ground. His eyes were wide and I knew he couldn’t believe what I was telling him.

“Wait… why do all of them know but you didn’t tell me, Kikwang, Dongwoon, Junhyung, or Doojoon?” He interrogated. I took in a deep breath of air. I knew I would have to explain this to him too.

“Well Momo and Tohru, aside from being my friends from back home, are going to be my PR for the branch that we have in Korea. I’m living with Hyunseung so I was obligated to tell him. Plus Hyunseung is another friend of the family. Lastly, Jungmin is my bodyguard that was appointed to me by the company. They said they gave me a personal bodyguard as a precaution.” I told him.

“So… was everything a lie?” He questioned me. He turned to me with expression pain. It hurt to see Yoseob like that.

“No…just certain things were lies. However, the way I feel is real.” I confirmed. He shook his head.

“How do I know this isn’t a ploy or something? I just found out about all of this today. How can I be sure that you aren’t going to lie to me about something else?” He interrogated. I shook my head feeling a little of steam building.

“You can’t put that on me Yoseob. I did what I had to do for my parents and grandparents. These people did everything for me, so this is something I had to do for them. Do you think that I want to be an heiress of a company? I’d rather live a normal life with normal responsibilities but no. I have to live training to be this grand CEO, keep my school life in check, keep the media from knowing anything about me, and somehow manage to keep a friendship with the people that matter to me. So Yoseob you can’t put that on me.” I retorted.

“But how can I know that you’re being honest with me? How can I know you’re not hiding something from me?” Yoseob questioned me once again. I was starting to get a little irritated.

“You’d just have to trust me.” I stated. “You would have to trust that the way I feel about you is genuine.” I muttered, “Either ways… having a relationship with you right now is something that would be really hard for me.” Yoseob got up and grabbed my hands.

“Then I guess I’ll have to trust you, and I’ll wait for you.” Yoseob confessed. I smiled up at him. I knew he had good intentions, but I wasn’t sure if I believed him.

“Can I be sure that you’ll wait for me?” I asked. He looked at me with a questionable expression.

“What do you mean by that?” He asked. I sighed, feeling that this conversation wasn’t close to ending.

“Well… when I left for China I came back so ready to tell you how I felt, but somehow in one month span you wound up in a relationship with Gayoon. So how will I know that you’ll wait for me?” I questioned. He pouted at me.

“Well for one, I didn’t break up with her for no reason. I realized that my feelings for you were much greater. For two…like you said, you’re just going to have to trust that I’ll feel the same way for you that I feel now.” Yoseob responded. I smiled and hugged him. Yoseob always had a way with words that made you feel like everything was truly going to be okay.

“So… did you hear about Kikwang’s new love interest?” I asked excitedly. Yoseob merely laughed at me.

“Raemi? Yeah I heard tons about her before I got to meet her.” He told me. I punched Yoseob’s arm playfully.

“Yah! You already got to meet her before me! No fair!” I exclaimed. I couldn’t help but pout

“What’s your fascination with Kikwang’s new boo?” He asked me. I shrugged.

“I just want to meet the girl that won the heart of my boo.” I answered. I saw Yoseob’s gaze change in to one of jealousy. He quickly hugged me from behind. We were currently walking back to the apartment.

“Hey aren’t I supposed to be your boo?” He questioned. I chuckled at Yoseob’s jealousy.

“Well Kikwang is just my boo for now. You’re my actual boo.” I confirmed. Yoseob’s expression of jealousy was soon replaced by a proud grin.

“Well I better be.” He responded. I rolled my eyes.

“So… I’m going to go stalk Kikwang and Raemi at their date with Junhyung,” I told him, before he found out some way else.

“With Junhyung?! Y’know something Jae… I don’t think I like you around all these guys. You need more girl friends.” He told me, squeezing me slightly. I laughed.

“But my guy friends are you friends too.” I rebutted. He shrugged.

“So I don’t want you hanging out with him so much.” He stated. I laughed.

“Well if it lets you sleep at night then I won’t but that doesn’t mean I won’t hang out with them.” I said, trying to confuse him. He merely groaned.

“Just don’t forget who you care about the most.” Yoseob stated. I laughed.

“Yeah I won’t. It’s my dad.” I replied, earning a glare from him.

“Okay well who you care about second,” He restated.

“Yeah…my grandpa,” I replied.

“Third?” He questioned.

“Ainosuke,” I replied.

“Fine then fourth?” He further questioned. I giggled at Yoseob spazzing out.

“You,” I replied. He in turn showed me a pout.

“See if I come fourth there are too many men in your life.” He pouted.

“Well you’re the first out of the people not in my family. Well… I don’t know because Hyunseung has been like a brother to me. Oh and Jungmin is also very close to me.” I drifted off. Yoseob immediately placed his palm over my mouth.

“Y’know what lets stop this ranking. Just let me know that you care about me differently than all of those guys.” Yoseob demanded. I nodded.

“I do,” I replied. He smiled back at me.

“That’s all I wanted to know,” He assured me. Then I grabbed his hand and headed back to the apartment. Maybe even I could have a fairytale ending.
