I sat there watching the movie with Yoseob. It was pretty awkward at first because I was so close to him. However, eventually I got to watch the movie without worrying about Yoseob. My phone vibrated. I checked and saw a text from Jungmin.

Hey  you up?

I quickly got curious.

Yeah, What’s the dealio?

-Jae

I closed my phone and I felt Yoseob’s gaze on my phone.

“Who was that?” He asked. I shrugged.

“Someone, you don’t need to know everything about me.” I answered him. I could tell he wasn’t content with the response I gave him. He just ignored it and went back to watching the movie. Then another text came in.

I can’t make it tomorrow.

I have defense training.

I sighed and replied back. I had asked Junhyung earlier today if he wanted to come. He said it was fine, but I wonder if it’ll be awkward if it’s just me and him?

It’s okay.  I guess it’ll

Just be me and Junhyung then.

I immediately dialed Junhyung’s number and I sent him a message.

Hey do you mind if tomorrow it’s just me

And you? Jungmin had something else he

Needs to do.

-Jae

I closed my phone and I was greeted by Yoseob’s irritated face.

“What?” I asked, very aware as to why he was irritated.

“Y’know if you don’t want to watch this movie you could tell me. I’ll be willing to change it.” He responded in an irritated way. I sighed and shook my head.

“It’s not the movie. I’m just dealing with some stuff. Now I promise I’m going to watch the movie.” I told him, putting my phone aside. He slowly turned his gaze towards the TV. I could tell that he still didn’t believe me. He had good reason though. I was going to read Junhyung’s text. Before I knew it Yoseob leaned on my shoulder. I couldn’t help but smile and watch the movie.

“So what’s with you and Junhyung today? You guys seemed pretty chummy.” He asked. I could tell that he was pretty peeved about that.

“Nothing much, I helped out Junhyung a while back and well he wanted to thank me for it.” I answered him truthfully.

“Well you shouldn’t get too close to Junhyung,” He told me. I got a questionable look on my face.

“Why not?” I asked.

“Well Junhyung is mean spirited sometimes. He also has an attitude that is hard to deal with at times too.” Yoseob answered me. I laughed

“I know that. Junhyung is mean spirited at times, but that makes it fun for me too. I mean I have too much optimism so we balance out. Honestly, Junhyung wouldn’t be Junhyung if he didn’t act that way.” I said. Yoseob looked at me questionably.

“Do you… like Junhyung?” Yoseob questioned. I shook my head.

“No it’s not like that. He like another Hyunseung, Jungmin, or Kikwang to me.” I responded. Yoseob sighed.

“You have too many guy friends.” He commented. I patted his head and chuckled slightly.

“You’re just jealous,” I commented, slightly laughing at him. He rolled his eyes at me. I took this opportunity to check my phone.

The lobby tomorrow morning.

I closed my phone and Yoseob looked at me with curiousity.

“Who was that?” He asked. I shrugged.

“Someone…” I answered vaguely. He looked at me suspiciously.

“Specifically who someone,” He asked, getting closer to my phone.

“Junhyung.” I answered shortly. He looked at me seriously and I could almost see steam come out of his ears.

“Yah… what’s so interesting about Junhyung that you don’t want to pay attention to our movie?” He questioned me. I rolled my eyes.

“Yah nothing… geez…” I told him. I looked at him and saw that he was irked. I smiled and couldn’t help but feel pretty good about his jealousy. After all jealousy just means they care right? I took this opportunity and hugged Yoseob. “You’re funny,” I commented, chuckling slightly.

“Don’t hug me… go hug Junhyung…” He pouted, still a bit upset. I laughed and got up from the couch.

“Okay… if that’s what you want… I’ll go find Junhyung right now…” I pretended to head for the door. Before I could go anywhere, Yoseob wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me down next to him.

“Yah you’re not going anywhere… just shut up and watch the movie with me.” He told me, keeping his arms around me protectively. I laughed.

“Since when were you so straightforward,“ I asked facing the movie.

“Hn… I donno… I figured you might like it since Junhyung is like that.” He commented. I rolled my eyes.

“I never said I liked Junhyung like that…” I told him. He shrugged and didn’t say anything. Soon I found myself drifting to sleep in Yoseob’s arms.

If only it could always be like this….

[Later that night]

Hyunseung walked in to the apartment and casually went to put up his coat.

“Jae you here?” He called. He walked in to the living room as he saw the flashing of the television. He walked in and smiled at the sight. “Ah I see… geez.. you two are going to be the death of me.” Hyunseung commented, as he turned off the movie. He looked at the scene of Jae in Yoseob’s arms. Both of them were sleeping soundly on the couch.

“When will you two realize you like each other?” Hyunseung sighed as he went to his room.
