The news my father gave me yesterday truly hit me hard. I couldn't focus on anything at all. I just states out the window watching the snow fall to the ground. 
It's the middle of January, you'd think it would of stopped snowing by now.
"Violet are you paying attention?" The teacher said snapping me out of my thoughts. 
"Uhh yeah." I said shyly as people giggled around me.
"Then you wouldn't mind solving this problem on the board right?" He said eyeing me. 
"Sure" I sighed and stood up. 
Everyone was looking at me which made me nervous but I made my way to the front and solved the equation flawlessly. 
"That's...correct." He said surprised. 
"I worked ahead." I said bluntly and walking back to my seat. 
The students giggled at the teacher as I returned to my seat. 
My father only wants the best for me after all, so it would make sense that he'd get me a tutor. But lately I have been doing all my work on my own. I have no social life what so ever so I have a lot of free time. But don't get me wrong, I have friends. 
The bell rang and I sighed going to my next class. Seriously I could stay home for a week and still not fall far behind. I just hope this week goes by quickly. 
By lunch I had exhausted myself thinking about the new school I would be going to. My mind started to slip to Junhong. His name was a little out of the normal but I figured he's Korean. I'm part Korean as well but I was born in america. I wonder where Junhong was born. 
"Violet?!" My friend said waving at me. 
"Oh hi..." I sad 
"Someone's out of it today." She sat down. 
"Yeah just a bit..." 
"Well I'm here to help! What's on your mind?" She said opening a juice box
"I rather not have this conversation here." I said shyly. 
"Ahh, okay. Uhmm mind if I come over after school?" 
I looked at her with a curious look but just nodded. She smiled excitedly and then started to go off about this guy she liked. Her name is Alex, she's super pretty and we've been friends for as long as I can remember. She's been my only friend for as long as I can remember. I don't really talk to people...
I envy her beauty at times. She's so confident, she's not very insecure either. 
I let out a sigh and she looks at me.
"Snap out of it violet!" She said snapping her fingers at me and I flinched.
She gave me a weird look. A quick look around and she got close to me.
"Is it Vanessa?" She whispered. 
I shrugged but shook my head. 
"That , someday she will get what she has coming
