Baekhyun dialed your number once again, still trying to contact you. He’s been trying to get in contact in you for days now. He’s been calling you and texting you in hope that you would actually answer his calls or at least read his message. But no, he got nothing. You haven’t gone home since you heard Baekhyun’s conversation with his friends. It’s been 4 days since you were gone, you weren’t even going to school. Who knows where you are and what has happened to you.

“Baekhyun?”

He turned around and saw Sunhee standing there. “Hey.” He tried to smile. She sighed and sat beside him, “Give Minseul some time to think.”

Baekhyun hung his head low and sighed. “She needs to be alone right now. She needs time to think about what happened.”

“What if something happens to her? She hasn’t come home for days now, she isn’t even going to school. Even Ms. Lee told me that she needs time to think and she’ll be safe. But still, if something happens to her, I won’t be able to forgive myself. That girl can’t even protect herself if she gets in danger.”

Sunhee sighed, “She won’t let herself get in any danger. Don’t worry.”

“Hasn’t she been contacting you either?”

She sighed once again and shook her head, “She called me after she heard your conversation with your friends. I couldn’t lie to her any longer. I can’t just keep secrets from her after everything that happened. I had to tell her I knew you were the father and that we kept it from her.”

“Even Ms. Lee confessed to her.”

“Ms. Lee knew?”

He nodded, “When I found Yeri was pregnant, I went to Ms. Lee for advice. She told me she wouldn’t tell Minseul because if anyone should tell her, it should be me. When Minseul came to her after leaving Suho hyung’s place, she told Minseul that she knew everything. After that, Minseul just left the house. She was gone.”

“She feels betrayed right now.” Sunhee sighed, “Even I would feel betrayed that way. Everyone around you knew that your husband got someone pregnant while you do everything and be kind for that girl while you’re so clueless.”

Baekhyun’s tears started rolling down his cheeks, “I don’t want to lose Minseul. I won’t be able to take that.”

“It’s not our decision, Baek. If she decides to leave you, there’s no choice.”

Baekhyun sighed and covered his face as he started crying, “I can’t lose her.”

“Welcome home, sir.” The maids greeted Baekhyun as he came home. “She hasn’t called or anything?”

The maids shook their heads, “No, sir.”

Baekhyun nodded, “Alright.” He headed to the room. “Baekhyun.”

He looked at Ms. Lee who called him. “Stay strong.” She gave him a small smile. He tried to smile and nodded, “Thank you.”

Once he reached the bedroom, he flopped down on the bed and took out his phone, trying to get in contact with you once again. “No answer.” He mumbled to himself as he put his phone down. “Shin Minseul, where are you? Are you safe? At least tell me you’re safe so I wouldn’t have to worry so much.” He sighed.
