You opened the kitchen drawer and took out a knife, you turned to Baekhyun who was leaning against the counter. He stared at you as you held the knife as if you were ready to kill him, “Y-You’re not going to kill me with that, are you?”

You looked at him then at the knife you were holding, “Maybe.”

“I’m innocent!”

You gave him a weird look and stared the vegetables in front of you, “So, how do I chop this?”

He shrugged, “I don’t know.”

You took a carrot and started chopping it randomly. “You have to make it look pretty.” He told you. “I don’t know how to.” You whined. After cutting a few vegetables, you took out a pan and put some oil in it, you started frying it slowly, until Baekhyun disturbed you. “Baby~” He hugged your waist from behind. “Hm?”

“Nothing, I just want to stay like this with you.”

You chuckled and turned around, caressing his cheeks. He smiled and gave you a peck on the cheek. You intertwined your hands together and smiled back at him. A few minutes later, you and Baekhyun started smelling something weird. You turned around and looked at the food you were cooking, “It’s burnt!”

He turned off the stove for you and chuckled. “It’s your fault.” You pouted at him. “It looks decent enough to eat actually. It isn’t that burnt.” He said. He placed it on a plate, he took a fork and tasted it. “M-Minseul, taste this.”

You went over and took a bite. “It’s so salty!” You spit it out. “How much salt did you put in here?”

“I don’t know, I just kept pouring in salt awhile ago.”

He sighed and threw away the food. You followed him, “I’m sorry.”

He patted your head, “It’s alright, you’ll learn soon.”

You took a slice of bread and stared at it, “So?”

He watched you as you pouted and sulk over the food you cooked awhile. “Should we have a sandwich for dinner?” You asked, “And when I mean sandwich, just put jam on the bread and eat it.”

He chuckled, “Should we?”

You nodded, “I guess.”

Your phone vibrated and you read the message. “Who’s that?” He peeked. “Ms. Lee.” You said as you read the message. “What did she say?”

You showed him the message, “She sent me on how to cook stir fried vegetables and sweet and sour chicken. I didn’t even ask her.”

“She could have sensed something was wrong.” He laughed. You nodded and stood up, “Come on, let’s try what she gave us.”

He looked at you, “You’re going to cook again?”

“She gave me the recipe and steps on how to cook it. If something would go wrong, it won’t be that bad. Trust me, hm?”

He nodded and followed you into the kitchen. You took out the ingredients once again and started chopping it like how Ms. Lee taught you. “You weren’t cutting it like that awhile ago.” Baekhyun said. “When Ms. Lee texted me, I remembered on how she taught me how to cut up vegetables depending on how we’re going to cook them.”

He smiled and quietly watched you try and cook once again. This time, not disturbing you.
