You ran down the stairs and into the kitchen. “No running, ma’am.” Not only did Ms. Lee scold, but so did the other maids. You ignored them and took a glass of water then headed to the living room. The maids sighed at your stubbornness, you looked at them and rolled your eyes, “I’ll try not to run next time.”

“I’m counting on how many times you’ve said that to us already.” Ms. Lee told you. “Great, keep counting.” You sarcastically answered, “I don’t get it. Even if I run around the house, I won’t break anything.” You mumbled.

“Is this how troublesome you were when I wasn’t around?”

You nearly choked on your water when you saw Baekhyun sitting on the couch.

“And do you usually wake up this late nowadays?” He looked at the time, “It’s already 11 AM. It’s nearly afternoon.”

“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be helping your mom in the company?”

“So you’d rather see me in the company, working and stressed than spend time with me?” He raised an eyebrow, “Ah, I shouldn’t have not asked for a week off then.”

“You’re taking a week off?”

He nodded. You caught yourself smiling at what he said and went beside him, “Why are you taking a week off?”

He looked at you and smiled, “Because I need rest.”

“You do need rest, you look tired.”

“And, because I missed the guys, I’ll hang out with them for the week.”

“O-Only them?”

He nodded, “Yeah, I requested for the week off so I could catch up with the guys before sembreak ends.”

“Oh okay.”

He stood up, “I actually have plans to meet them today, want to come along?”

You shook your head, “I was with them the other day, Sunhee was with them so I tagged along.”

“If you say so. I’ll get going then.”

You grabbed his hand, “Are you really leaving me here?”

He nodded, “I planned something with the guys.”

“Did you really take the week off only for them?” You mumbled. He chuckled and sat beside you, “I was kidding. Of course not, silly.”

You slowly looked at him. “I took it for you. I missed you so much.” He pinched your nose gently, “I made plans for us.”

“Really? For me?”

He nodded. “What plans?”

“Should we go to the country house?”

“Country house?”

“Yeah, we have a country house but we don’t go there unless it’s vacation and we usually go there with our relatives. But this year, it hasn’t been used. I’ll bring you there with me.”

You looked at him and smiled widely. “Is that a yes?” He asked. You nodded. He chuckled, “Let’s go pack our things, alright?”

You nodded and followed him to the bedroom.

You went out of the house and saw Baekhyun waiting for you, leaning on a car. You looked at the car
