The Begining
When Differences Collide (Editing)Myung-hee POV
Never in my life have I ever seen such beautiful scenery as this. For the first time in my life I feel free but the feeling cannot last forever. Even when I just escaped the palace the feeling never lasted but this feeling is one I wish could last forever. Something about China seemed peaceful yet still empowering and strong, which is what I admire most about this country. Like ying and yang, one means nothing without the other, therefor it has the power to be peaceful yet forceful. I guess my mother was right when she said 'Things will have their differences yet everything has a contradiction which it was destined for, so when they come together they will work in perfect harmony with one another creating a perfect balance. Like love and hate, or life and death for instance'.
"Myung-hee"Luhan called my name snapping me out of my trance.
"Yes" I mumured still gazing at the beautiful sight which laid before me.
"Were stopping at the winter palace for the night I just wanted to let you know were almost there" he said awkwardley as he shifted in his seat.
"Ah really?" I turned to face him as he began to look out the window.
"Yes" he mumbled before he looked down to his hands. Why was he acting so awkward and distant now? He used to act so dignified and proud like nothing could effect him, so why was he different now? Could he by chance think I still hate him?\
"I wonder what it looks like, oh by the way thankyou" I said as I began to stare back out the window.
"What?" he said as his eyes widened.
"I said thankyou" I chuckled as I continued looking out the window.
"For what?" he mumbled looking back down at his hands.
"For helping me, that night" I smiled. Although I know I probably wont ever like him for our situation I can't always be harsh toward him. I'm sure he probably feels the same toward me,or at least I hope he does.
"Oh" he mumbled before staring out the window again "So, excuse me for asking this but who is Jongin?" he asked bluntly as he turned to face me.
"Who?" how did he know about him, how could he know.
"Nevermind, anyways were almost at the winter palace" he sighed before looking back out the window.
"O-okay" I stuttered before looking out the window myself. New starts shouldn't include the past but why was my new start bringing back the past. We began heading down a stone path leading to the winter palace. It was seclude and quiet which made it all the more admirable.
"Were here" Luhan said before getting out of the carriage not even offering to help me out. Keep in mind I am still in my wedding dress and this headress was already gettign on my nerves enough for heaven sakes I couldn't even rest my head the entire journey.
"Here, I'll help you" Zitao said as he popped his head into the carriage offering me his hand.
"Thankyou" I sighed as I exited the carriage while watching Luhan dissapear into the palace.
"Don't worry about him he can be like that sometimes" Zitao sighed "One thing about my brother is that he will go through with things without
