Myunghee POV

I opened my mouth to reply but the words just wouldn't come out. I couldn't leave but then again I was never made for this kind of life I was meant to be free.

"She wont ever leave" a deep voice growled from behind me as I turned to see Luhan in the door way.

"You majesty" Jongin  smirked as he stood up and bowed.

"Luhan" I mumbled as he kep his glare on Jongin an intense fire burning in his eyes.

"Myunghee you should've informed me earlier that you would be visiting him" Luhan sighed before glancing over to me.

"She is a free individual she can do what she pleases" Kai chuckled as I backed away from both of them. This most definitely was a mess I wanted to never be a part of but hey look at where we are now.

"And I am also her husband" Luhan snapped as a hint of pain flashed across Jongin eyes before he glanced over to me "You gave up that chance"

"Luhan" I shut my eyes and rubbed my temples. The one thing he regretted the most Luhan just had to bring it up.

"We should go" he sighed before taking my hand and leading me out of the room as I glanced back at the man who once held my heart and hoestly I could feel how broken he felt.

"Are you mad?" I mumbled as he stopped and pulled me into his tight embrace.

"Next time plase tell me before" he sighed burying his face into the crook of my neck "Everytime he is involved I feel you need to be protected"

"Kai would never hurt me" I sighed wrapping my arms around his torso. He has always protected me.

"I know but with your past who knows what he might do" he mumbled as I chuckled.

"Or you're jealous" I laughed as he hid his face from me.

"Never the emperor is incapable of being jealous" he chuckled as I smiled holding him tighter.

"Right" I rolled my eyes as he held me tighter.

"But if it's about you I will forever and always of anyone who is close to you" he took a deep breathe as a smile tugged at my lips.
