Engaged?
When Differences Collide (Editing)Gaeul POV
I'll finally be able to see him again. I wouldn't exactly say i'm the fall in love at first sight kind off person but with him it's different.Mother used to tell me when I was younger that one day when i'm older I will meet the one man who will have my heart forever whether he returns the feelings or not. She would always tell me of how during that time I would need to act accordingly and not get blinded by the idea of capturing his heart but this feeling just wont leave me I need to see him. Mother was always different with Myunghee though always talking in riddles about destiny and fate. She always treated her as if she were going to be something greater.
"Your highness we've arrived"
"This way" a boy a little bit older than me smiled as he helped me out of the carriage and escorted me into the palace. He seemed so familiar yet I just couldn't put my finger down to as how I knew him. He almost looked like this boy who used to gaurd my sister but even then he couldn't be him. This guy was handsome well built and extremely polite. Let's just say Yixing when I knew him was none of the above.
"Xièxiè" I mubled as he chuckled lightly before leading me down a series of courtyards and walkways until we stopped in front of a set of huge ornate looking doors.
"Her majesty is inside" he smiled before turning to walk away. I stared at the huge doors and then back at his retreating figure only to see him stop and turn back around "You've grown up well, Gaeul" he smiled before looking at the ground and begin to walk again. That can't be him..... could it.
"Myunghee?" I mumbled as I pushed one of the large doors open to enter what seemed like an empty study.
"Excuse me" I heard a soft voice from behind me as I turned to face a small girl in what seemed to be the palace maid attire.
"Yes?" I sighed as she looked up to face me.
"Her majesty the empress sent me to you to her chambers she was with Lady Xue-wu and wished for you to meet up with them there" the girl informed as she escorted me out of the room. It's so strange to here you sister be called her majesty the empress. Usually back home people either say you
