Could it be you?
When Differences Collide (Editing)Myung-hee POV
"You spoke to the guard?" Zitao said as he stood up and approached me something about his air and manner of speaking seemed different.
"Yes" I said confidently as his face seemed to tense up even more.
"Tell him what the guard said and describe him" Luhan urged reassuringly. His presence calmed me a bit considering Tao looked like he was on the verge of insanity.
"Go on" Tao waved his hand as he turned to face the window scanning the outside.
"Well he approached me on the balcony outside of the emperor and I's chambers. His face was masked and he informed me that his name was Wei min. He also had an accent abit like mine but thicker" I sighed as Tao turned to face me.
"Jongin" Tao mumbled but Luhan and I both heard. My heart froze, that name. It can't be him, he is dead. He has been dead for a year.
"Who?" Luhan's voice tensed up as well as his facial expression.
"Kim Jongin, the boy who we capture on the nothern border but our men couldn't hold him and he managed to escape into the countryside" Tao informed "He was the only one to use the name Wei min as a disguise and he has a very prominent accent as well. He usually travels masked which fits the empress's description perfectly. I did some checking up on him a few times as to his where abouts but every time we got close he was gone. His techniques are good especially when he planned to kill you on our way to Korea"
"Myung-hee" Luhans voice faded into a whisper as darkness took over my eyes and the feeling of falling took over my body. Safe in his arms I fled in and out of conciousness.
"She will be okay your majesty it seems that she may have had a possible panic attack." a mans voice echoed throughout the room but my sight had still yet recovered.
"What should we do?" Luhans voice rang throughout the room with a tinge of worry.
"Well what's best is for her majesty to rest until her pulse has returned to normal and she regains conciousness" the man sighed.
"You may leave, thank you" Luhan sighed as my vision began to recover. His shilouette was blurry but I knew it was him and reached out for him.
"Luhan" I sighed slighly as my hand touched his before I laid back onto the bed.
"How are you feeling?" Luhan said as he held one of my hands.
"Better" I mumbled as I looked out the window to see the masked guard looking into my room from a distance. My eye's widened as he pulled down the cloth which covered his face revealing himself. Kim Jongin the man I swore my love to but failed to do so.
"Is something wrong?" Luhan looked in the direction but Jongin was already gone.
"No your majesty" I sighed as I thought of my current situation. He is still alive and I am another mans woman. What a story this would make.
"You
