CHAPTER FOUR

Chanyeol shook his head as he watched his pop's secretary walked out of the office, the lady is weird. So impulsive and broken? Since he already knew her story he wonder why he never saw her with a swelling eyes from crying. He always see her as one tough woman but not letting her emotion out is so depressing from his own opinion. 

Chanyeol tilted his head and stuck his tongue out in one side, he's trying to figure her out. She's like an abstract painting, you can't just look at it for a brief second but stare at it to figure out what it is supposed to mean and since he loves puzzle, he's going to figure her out.

Chanyeol gets up from the couch and walked towards the door, he's planning to escape but he guessed it can't be done because Dara is already at the door with its hand on its waist, he smiled immediately.

"Hello"

Dara raised its eyebrow, "Where are you going, SIR?" She emphasized that three lettered word.

"Going out?"

"You still need to read our rules and regulation" Dara handed him the thick book that looks like it just came from his pops hidden treasure box, it looked so old but what can he say, his grandfather is sure an old man. 

He took the book and walked towards the table that he always ignore, Chanyeol settled himself in his pops chair and place his feet at the top of the table, he lazily browse the content of the book.

"The human brain isn't fully functional for learning until after 10 am, science has proved that school begin too early" Chanyeol said nothing in particular.

Dara.

She immediately frowned when she saw something unpleasant in the main office, she left her boss grandson in the office to give him time to read that five hundred eighty nine pages of the book containing company's rules and regulation, history and everything about the business. Yes, she spent a week to fully understand what the book want them to know while her friend Bommie took couple of months, that lazy yeoja.

Anyway, after her headache subsided she decided to peek on what Chanyeol's doing but it pissed her off only to see him sleeping with the book covering his face!! That’s a heavy book but the weight of it is her least concern for now because first, why is he sleeping? Because if her memory served her right. She did told him to read that damn book, right?

Mr. Park Yoochun is in Jeju Island attending something related to business, he left her in-charged in orienting his grandson, he'll be back in months’ time and she knew to herself that, that span of time Chanyeol needed to learn all the things, as in all.

She pushed his feet away from the table that cause him to jolt from his seat. The sudden movement awakens his senses and unfortunately, the book fell from his face landing unto his thigh and made him winced.

"Damn it woman, is that your way to woke me up? Because I assure you, I didn't like it a bit" Chanyeol is now annoyed, he treasure his sleep so much, so disturbing it is a mortal sin for him.

"I told you to read the book, not use it as a cover in that face of yours to hide your laziness"

"I already read it"

Dara jaw dropped, "All of it?"

Chanyeol nodded lazily as he placed his elbow above the table and used his palm to support his head and closed his eyes, “From page one up to the last page"

"Bu- but that’s five hundred and eighty nine pages. You can't read that in an hour! Are you playing around?"

"We're in office and in here I don't play around" He answered with his eyes still close, "You can ask some information in there and I'll answer it if I know"

Dara took the book from the table and immediately look for something to ask him, "Give me five example of minor forms of misconduct in the workplace"

Chanyeol open its eyes and look at her directly with a hint of laziness, “That all?" She nodded, "First, Leaving the department or plant during working hours without permission and/or without an authorized exit permit. Second, Absence from the workstation without permission. Third, causing unnecessary distractions to fellow employees or causing unnecessary confusion in the work place by, inter alia, unnecessary shouting, catcalls or demonstratio
