It was an exhausting first day for everyone.

Luhan got three more bloody noses and Yixing fainted more than Baekhyun could count. Baekhyun wondered if the dimpled friend was even werewolf at all. 

Jongin, the dominant one in his relationship with Kyungsoo, was very territorial when ever any other werewolf came a foot near Kyungsoo. He ran all over school to keep everyone away. Baekhyun could not imagine how he could even manage that.

Their first day was not one of the best. Baekhyun tried his very best not to bump into the tall human Chanyeol, in fear he'll lose his lunch, or suddenly kill some lunch. Baekhyun could not understand why his hunger just suddenly increased whenever the mere human stepped a foot in the same room with him.

Luhan who didn't tell his cousin, was in the same situation, though he would never tell. A pink haired human had made Luhan's vampire urges go way out of control. Luhan was on the verge of insanity if he could not control it. He didn't know the New Blood and just took one look at him before his nose started bleeding. On top of that, he had to be careful for Yixing who fainted immediately after seeing blood.

Baekhyun and Luhan had to ask someone why they were acting like this.

"Baekhyun call your grandfather or something." Jongin suggested as he plopped down on the couch next to Baekhyun that evening. Baekhyun shook his head and side glanced at Luhan who was cleaning up his nose again.

"He's on a trip. I can't disturb him." Baekhyun said as he put his face in his delicate hands. The scent of food tingled his nose and Baekhyun could hear the sizzle of food in the oven. He could hear Kyungsoo's soft humming from all the living room as if he was right next him.

Great. Now he was more hyper sensitive than before.

"Surely it's just a vampire virus or something. Maybe a 24 hour vampire fever." Kyungsoo said from the kitchen.

Baekhyun and Luhan really hoped that it was just that.

It wasn't a vampire virus. Actually it wasn't a virus at all. It was something much, much worse than that.

Baekhyun's nose itches as he walks toward the school, following behind Kyungsoo and Jongin. Baekhyun cringes when he sees Jongin whisper something to Kyungsoo that makes the smaller blush like a cherry. Luhan, just behind Baekhyun, sneezes and it takes every once of Baekhyun not to turn around to punch the blonde in the face.

Everything seemed to piss Baekhyun off, especially his hyper sensitive senses that increased when he woke up.

"Good morning~!" Someone sang loudly, making Baekhyun scowl. Jongdae bounded toward Baekhyun and Baekhyun felt a little relieved that it wasn't someone else.

"Jongdae-ah, there's something wrong with me." Baekhyun whined to the brunet. Jongdae gave him a look.

"I think I'm ill." Baekhyun said, covering his face. Jongdae couldn't believe it, because vampires were almost immune to any sickness. Nonetheless Baekhyun was a clean freak and hated germs of any kind. Jongdae looked over Baekhyun but Baekhyun didn't look any different in any way.

"I don't see anything wrong." Jongdae said as he stared at Baekhyun.

"He's being hyper sensitive to everything, and their noses are bleeding. It's gross." Jongin called from the front. Baekhyun kicked Jongin's , making the other trip.

"Ugh I wish I knew what was happening..." Baekhyun groaned as he felt Jongdae's arm slither around his shoulder in comfort. Jongdae was going to say something but an auburn haired student knocked into him as he dashed by.

"Hey!" Jongdae called but the auburn haired latter was out of sight before he knew it. Jongdae clicked his tongue in annoyance but turned to Baekhyun again. Baekhyun looked so troubled so Jongdae sighed heavily and gave him a final pat on the back. Jongdae couldn't do anything for the vampire anyway, he knew nothing about the world of vampires. Jongdae looked to the other vampire who had someone clinging onto him.

"Hi. I don't think we've met." Jongdae said to the dark haired, slender faced, male.

"He's Yixing. Werewolf. He faints at the sight of blood."  Luhan said dully. Luhan gestured to Jongdae as he looked at Yixing. "Kim Jongdae. Troll. Really annoying sometimes."  

Jongdae gave Luhan a look but just shrugged it off. He'd have his revenge some other time.

They all arrived at school and and it seemed really lively. Baekhyun suddenly remembered they were going to assign club activities today. Baekhyun was very uninterested because most of them included standing in the sun most of the time, and he could not bare burning to a crisp. While everyone was scurrying in the long hallways, Baekhyun sauntered after Kyungsoo and Jongdae to their home room and Baekhyun plopped down tiredly. He had switched seats with Jongdae to avoid the Chanyeol human.

At the mention of Chanyeol, Baekhyun thought he was going to throw up right then and there when the said male walked through the door. All the blood seemed to rush to his head as if he's been spinning in circles upside down for hours. Baekhyun coughed and he put his head down immediately. 

"It's just a fever..." He kept telling himself. "I'm just a little ill...."

He heaved out deep breaths that came out raspy somehow. Before he could have a coughing fit, Baekhyun opened his bag to take out a thermal container that had three bags worth of blood. His headache seemed to subside slightly when he took a sip and he continued to drink, oblivious to the Human staring at him from the other desk.

Chanyeol who watched in amazement and surprise, stared at the silver haired male while he drank maliciously.

"Why are you staring at Baekhyun." Chanyeol jumped in surprise before turning to the person that replaced Baekhyun's spot. "I'm Kim Jongdae." Chanyeol did not hesitate to take Jongdae's hand and introduce himself.

"So why are you staring at him?" Jongdae asked with a smile. Chanyeol wondered if Jongdae had a close relationship with Baekhyun.

"Umm.. I don't know.. Umm.." Chanyeol rubbed the nape of his neck, quite shy that he even got caught staring. "He has a certain condition..? I noticed he seems sick." Chanyeol said, referring to the other day. Jongdae nodded before glancing toward Baekhyun quickly.

"He said he wasn't feeling well today.. But I think it's just a 24 hour thing. He should feel better soon." Jongdae smiled at Chanyeol again, and Chanyeol couldn't help but smile back. Suddenly the two heard a vicious hacking, and they both turned to Baekhyun who seemed to choke on his drink.

When actually Baekhyun snuck a glance toward Jongdae and Chanyeol at the same moment Chanyeol had smiled. Baekhyun had forgotten to swallow and ended up coughing. God he must seem like a cluts in front of everybody. First his bloody noses, choking, just what can happen to him next?

"Are you alright?" Chanyeol asked Baekhyun. Baekhyun felt his face flush and he nodded without looking at Chanyeol. Jongdae smirked because he's never seen Baekhyun so flustered before. Something was definitely wrong with the vampire to be acting that way.

"Do you know his condition?" Chanyeol asked, his eyebrows furrowed as he remained focused on Baekhyun. Jongdae raised a brow and shrugged.

"Not really. He's never been this bad before though." Jongdae simply said. 

Throughout the class, Jongdae couldn't help but notice the secret glances that the human sent to Baekhyun who was oblivious to them. Chanyeol looked so worried for some reason.

For what? Jongdae asked himself.

Luhan hated not knowing anything. He hated not being able to know things. It was one of the things that made him tick.

Just like how he didn't know why he kept having bloody noses.

"Why me... Why me..." Luhan grumbled to himself as he plugged his nose with a tissue. Luhan was angry with his own body betraying him like this. He's become a laughing stock among humans and monsters because of his uncontrollable nose bleeds. He didn't even know why his body was doing this to him! Luhan punched the glass mirror, making the glass crack slightly.

He was in the bathroom, cleaning up his mess of a nose bleed. 

Ugh ! What vampire bleeds so much?!  Luhan screamed internally. Luhan groaned in annoyance while he washed his hands furiously, still angry at himself. The sink water was red and pink and Luhan felt disgusted. He drinks blood for goodness sake, he shouldn't feel this way. 

While Luhan swam in his blood red thoughts, he hadn't heard the door open and someone step in.

"You killed someone or something?" 

The voice made Luhan jump while a chill ran up his spine. The human scent is sweet and strong and it makes Luhan's heart stop abruptly. Luhan looks up from the mirror to see the pink haired boy that Luhan thinks is the cause of everything. His face is long and slender and very expressionless. His slim neck makes Luhan's breath hitch silently, making Luhan unable to breathe.

Luhan feels really hungry suddenly.

The boy walks to the other sink that is right next to Luhan and he checks his hair lazily.  He side glances to Luhan who suddenly looked grim and very very pale.

"Hey are you okay?" He asks. The blonde doesn't say anything, because he was contemplating whether or not to have lunch early. Luhan's head was down and his hair hung in front of his eyes, making the pink haired boy unable to see his face. Luhan his dry lips as his fangs started to grow past his gums. His only thought was,

He's really really thirsty.

"What's your name?" Luhan asks so quietly, it was barely a whisper. The other felt a cold draft come in and deep inside if him, he felt.... Scared. He rinsed his hands with warm water, hoping to feel warmer.

"S-Sehun.." He stutters as he shivers. Goosebumps appear on Sehun's skin, which was weird because it was fairly warm. Silence sets in and there's the only sound of the sink dropping a teardrop of water in down the drain. Sehun shivers again, unable to shake the cold feeling away. Sehun hears Luhan chuckle lowly.

"Sehun... Huh..." Sehun doesn't like the strange situation, and decides he should leave. Sehun turns to get a paper towel to dry his hands but turns to face the blonde again. 

Sehun lets out squeak when he realized the blonde had moved in front of him like some creepy ghost or weeping angel. There was almost no space in between the two and Sehun felt so very uncomfortable and cold.

"H-Hey..." Sehun tried to say, he grabbed the blonde's shoulder to attempt moving him away. Sehun eyes widens when he realizes the blonde is as cold as ice.

Luhan's fingers stretch out and lay on Sehun's chest lightly, and Sehun shivers at the touch. Sehun's heart hammers in his chest, trying to tell him to get away, but he can't. 

Luhan leans close and blows slightly on the skin of Sehun's neck and Sehun fears what might happen next. Luhan, who feels nothing but hungry, growls lowly from his throat that itches crazily for something to drink. His head is throbbing painfully like metal against metal.

Luhan Sehun's neck slightly, tasting the skin. It's sweet, painfully so, that Luhan just wants to bite it. Sehun who feels the little touch, shudders uncontrollably and he closes his eyes tight, hoping he's just in a dream. His body feels immobile; completely frozen and he does not have the strength to push away the blonde. Luhan openes his mouth, his fangs gleam in the dim bathroom light, and comes closer to Sehun's neck.

Baekhyun jumps out of his seat when he hears a bloodcurdling scream.
