Author's POV
           The students started to grow wild along the hallways.

"OMG!! They are so hotttt!! I can't believe that we will have more exo in our school!! KYAAA!!" a girl said before rushing towards the crowd that is forming in front of the school.

Minji and her friends are standing along the hallway, away from the crowd of girls forming at the entrance of the school.

"Exo k is bad enough, now we will have one more exo?! This is going to be hell." Sulli ranted.

"You said it babe." Jinho started to kiss Sulli openly, without caring if other people could see them.

Minji disgustingly looked at the couple "Thanks god you and Henry are not like that." She said to Luna.

Luna blushed as she felt a little guilty.

Sometimes they do make out in public, just not in front of Minji and the others.

The crowd started to scream louder as exo k and exo m enters the school together.

Minji and her friends moved to the side to give space for the incoming crowd.

Minji quickly spotted Kai who is talking to Tao, an Exo m member.

Kai's gaze shifted to the side and his eyes locked with Minji's.

Kai breathed hard and a low growl escaped his lips.

He broke their gaze which disappointed Minji.

Minji couldn't help but to feel the familiar pain that once engulfed her for many days.

She heard her wolf crying and a howling as she craves for her mates' love and attention.

Her face slightly light up when she spotted Luhan walking at the back of the group.

He looks irritated with the amount of attention that he is getting but when he spotted Minji, a small smile appeared from his lips.

Minji smiled back and unknown blush crept on her cheeks.

"Minji? Is that a blush I see?" Sulli pointed at Minji's red cheeks.

Minji suddenly went back to reality and then covered her cheeks with her palms.

"It is! Wait! Is your mate the cause of that?" Sulli questioned.

Minji's eyes widened when she realized that she blushed because of another guy who is not her mate.

"Uhm....I gotta go." Minji turned around and ran towards her classroom to avoid Sulli's question.

              News spread like a wild fire.

Once Minji stepped inside of her classroom, there is already a huge fuss about an exo m member being in their first period.

They are pretty excited about it since Sehun is in their class and an exo m member will just add up the cute boys list.

Their teacher entered a few minutes later which got everyone to settle down.

"I guess you all have an idea already about the new student. Student please come in and introduce yourself." The teacher said.

Everyone gasped and most of the girls spazzed after seeing Luhan walking inside the classroom.

"Anyeong, my name is Luhan and I'm from China." Luhan plainly said.

He looked a little bored while introducing himself.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Luhan. You may take your seat." The teacher said while pointing at the empty chairs.

Sehun pointed at the empty chair right beside him but Luhan's eyes are already locked on the seat that he really wants.

Minji couldn't help but to stare at Luhan's icy blue eyes that sends shivers throughout her body.

Minji wanted to gasp when Luhan sat right next to her.

She turned around and saw Sehun's confused face.

"Y-yah....your friends wants you to sit right next to him." Minji quietly said.

"I don't want to. It's much easier to hear the teacher here." Luhan said without looking at Minji.

Minji gulped while feeling the sharp stares that her girl classmates are giving her due to envy.

"Unless....you don't want me to sit right next to you." Luhan faked a sad tone.

Minji's eyes widened "N-No....it's not like that. Aish.....fine I'll shut up now and you sit there."

Luhan lightly chuckled with the feeling of being victorious.

"Your cute when your nervous." Luhan didn't expect him to say that out loud.

Minji blushed madly after hearing that.

*Stupid! Why did you say that?! Aish! But she really is cute. She reminds me about.....sigh.*

Luhan slightly peeped towards Minji's direction and saw Minji slightly patting her cheek to calm her nerves down.

Luhan slightly chuckled and his gaze softened  *Yeah....she really is like her.*

After the classes are over, sehun quickly headed to Luhan who is already on his way out of the classroom.

"Hyung! Why didn't you seat right next to me? Why did you seat with that....that girl?" Sehun gestured his hand.

"Sehun, she's Minji and she belongs to the river pack. Isn't her pack a member of the alliance?" Luhan reminded.

"Yeah, the weakest member of the alliance. And besides, she's just a nobody here in school." Sehun said.

Luhan wasn't really amused with the was Sehun treated Minji.

"Well, I think she's nice. I kinda like her." Luhan said.

"What?! Hyung I know that you miss your mate but you can't just replace her that quickly." Sehun completely misunderstood Luhan.

"Watch it maknae! I'm not replacing anyone especially her. I just think that Minji is a nice girl and doesn't deserve you y attitude." Luhan walked out of the classroom leaving Sehun dumbfounded.

Sehun sighed hard.

He could understand well why Luhan acted that way so he couldn't bring himself to get mad at him.

Luhan lost his mate and any topic about her could get him emotional.

*Stupid sehun!! You should really know how to control your mouth!* sehun scolded himself.

                   "Yuck! Baekhyun has finally lost it." D.O said while everyone is eyeing the love struck puppy Baekhyun.

He is eating lunch on a separate table with Krystal.

He is looking at Krystal with so much love that everyone could see hearts flying around his head.

"C'mon we should be happy that one of you finally found his mate. It's a hard thing to do and Baekhyun is lucky enough to find his mate in such an early age. I envy him." Lay said.

The rest of exo k shook in disagreement except for Kai.

When lay brought the topic about finding mates, Kai froze on the spot.

Him finding his mate is still a personal secret that he doesn't know weather he will tell or not.

"Most of you still has no mate right?" Suho said.

"Yeah, Luhan is the only lucky bastard that found his mate." Kris said.

Luhan sighed and his grip on the table strengthened which caused the sides to crack.

Everyone knew what happened to Luhan's mate and everyone sympathized him.

A very uncomfortable silence surrounded the entire table.

"I'm sorry Luhan." Kris apologized.

Luhan forced a smiled "no worries....I'll just go out for some fresh air."

When Luhan was already out of sight, the atmosphere loosened a bit.

"I really feel bad for Luhan hyung. His mate is such a great wolf." Sehun said while reminiscing the time when they visited China and met Luhan's mate.

"We all feel bad, but it's not like we can do anything about it." Kris said before eating his sandwich.

"Is he still in major depression?" Chanyeol asked.

"Depression is inevitable since he lost his mate. The amount of depression is much like getting rejected by your mate but a little bit worse. Trust me when I say that Luhan was in bigger depression when we were in China." Lay sadly said.

When Kai heard that, he couldn't help but to feel worried.

His wolf instinct grew very worried for Minji and her wolf.

*Is she depressed? Gosh....Kai!!! Stop worrying will you!* Kai mentally scolded himself.

"Isn't he the future beta? How will he perform his tasks when he is like that for the rest of his life?" Suho asked.

"Don't worry, Luhan might look like that but his strength is still unbelievable like before." Kris assured them.
        
                      Luhan brisk walked along the hallway while trying to hold his tears.

Sometimes he hates his pack members for being so insensitive.

*How can they bring up Mirae out of nowhere?! Do they think that I am already over with what happen and they could easily bring her to any topic?!*

His eyes started to become heavy with the build up of tears.

"Are you okay?" He heard a voice from behind.

Luhan quickly wiped his tears and he cleared the lump in his throat.

"Uhm...yeah." Luhan said and turned around to see Minji in front of her.

"You don't seem okay though." Minji whispered but Luhan still heard it.

"No...really I'm fine." Luhan lied, he is far from fine.

Minji opened her bag and took out a normal banana and handed it to Luhan.

Luhan didn't know why Minji suddenly gave him a banana but never the less he still accepted it.

"That's a banana from Tokyo. It's really good so you should try some. It will surely make you happy." Minji said.

Luhan smiled and thanked Minji for her concern.

"Also if you want to relax and clear your mind, go to the forest's cliff. The air is nice and you will surely be calmed." Minji said before walking away.

Luhan smiled while looking at the banana in his hand.

Who knew that a simple gesture could lighten his depression.
