Author's POV
                  A soft knock was heard from outside of Minji's window.

She slowly opened the window and the cool breeze that hit her skin almost made her gasp.

Luhan is seen standing on top of the tree branch with his angelic smile.

"Can I come in?" Luhan asked with a cheeky smile.

"You know, you could always use the front door. My parents are still at work." Minji said as she pointed at the door.

Luhan chuckled "Well, that will make it less romantic now would it? And besides I was really into re enacting some of does cliche movies that you love to watch. You know when a guy climbs up a tree to see his girl."

His girl, that made Minji blush madly.

Minji opened the window wider for Luhan to enter.

He cooly stepped inside with his black coat flying behind as he landed on the ground of Minji's room.

He took off his coat and placed them on the hanger near the door.

Luhan wrapped his arms around Minji's tiny waist and he pulled her towards the bed with her body on top of his.

Minji yelped a little, but soon she found herself trapped and mesmarized with Luhan's blue eyes.

Her hands unconsciously went up to touch his pale white cheek.

Luhan tucked a strand of hair behind Minji's ear and he gave her a peck on he lips.

"I missed you." Luhan whispered.

Minji giggled "We just saw each other at the meeting earlier."

"That was like four hours ago." Luhan cutely whined.

Minji pinched his cheeks "Clingy aren't we? What if I don't like clingy guys?" She teased.

Luhan smirked and gave her a quick yet passionate kiss.

After he broke the kiss he said "Yeah right, you love me no matter what and you know it."

Minji's raised her eye brow "who said I love you? I never said that to you."

Luhan quickly stood up with his eyes as wide as an egg.

Minji wanted to laugh so loud after seeing Luhan panicking.

"I-I'm sorry, I just....it's because I love you and I thought you felt the same way." Luhan said sadly.

Minji didn't expect those kind of lines coming from Luhan's mouth, what more is that he just told her that he loves her.

She wrapped her arms around his waist and placed her head on his chest.

"Yeah, I feel the same way. I love you and thank you for loving me." Minji said.

Luhan caressed her cheeks as he lovingly stared at her eyes.

"Your welcome and thank you for loving me despite you having a mate." Luhan said.

Minji softly smiled.

"Want to go for a run?" Minji offered.

"Sorry princess but the alphas gave a strict rule earlier. No wondering along the forest during night time." Luhan said.

Minji pouted in disappointment.

She completely forgot about that part in their alliance talk earlier.

"Wanna grab some bubble tea instead?" Luhan offered which made Minji smile.

                       They arrived at the bubble tea shop just a few blocks from Minji's house.

Luhan ordered a taro bubble tea while Minji ordered a winter melon bubble tea.

After ordering they decided to go to the circular garden in the middle of the town.

Luhan got some blankets and placed it over the grass where they can sit.

"So I was thinking...can you come with me to visit Myungsoo tomorrow?" Minji said then she took a big sip from her bubble tea.

"Why do you want to see him?" Luhan asked.

"I'm just curious....I want to know who kidnapped his mate. Maybe we could use it to help him get out of death penalty." Minji said.

Luhan heavily sighed.

"His pack already made a decision, we can't do anything to help him anymore." Luhan simply said.

"But he only harmed others for the sake of his mate. Don't you think it is also unfair for him to receive death penalty just because he was threatened by the kidnappers?" 

"Still, he shouldn't have killed the alphas of his pack and yours. He could have asked the alliance's help with regards to his mate." 

Minji slowly grew irritated.

"He was panicking. For all we know his mate might have been tortured in front of him for him to behave so rashly. He was only desperate to save his mate's life." Minji said hoping to convince Luhan.

"He was selfish and ruthless. No beta should have betrayed his pack. He deserves death for everything that he did. It doesn't matter if he did it due to desperation." Luhan said so simply that irritated Minji.

"What about his mate then? If he dies and his mate happens to survive, what will happen to her? You of all people know how hard it is to lose a mate. She will live the rest of her life blaming herself. She will blame herself because her mate died trying to save her." Minji whispered the last part.

Luhan looked down, refusing to meet Minji's eyes.

"He killed the alphas Minji. He could have done some other things to prevent blood from spilling from his own hands. I don't think I can help you with myungsoo. You're right i know how hard it is to lose a mate,but let's face reality....his mate is as good as dead. If hunters really got her, I'm pretty sure she's being tortured right now and almost near her death. We are doing a great favor for myungsoo by giving him death penalty. Trust me, he wouldn't want to live after knowing that his mate died." Luhan said.

Minji looked at Luhan as if he had lost his mind.

*How can he say that? This isn't the Luhan I know...*

"Like I said, what if his mate survived and myungsoo was killed. You don't know if his mate is really dead or will die...you are basically assuming. Luhan...out of all the people I never expected those words to come out of your mouth. I was really hoping that you could help me, but I guess I was wrong." 

Minji stood up and she ran as quickly as she can.

She didn't look back despite Luhan's cries.

She found herself tearing as she ran.

She can't help but to feel disappointed with Luhan.

After running a mile or two she found herself standing in front of the town's park.

A familiar aroma lingered her nose ands he quickly spotted Kai who is seating on the grass while talking to a little kid.

She can't help but to smile *So...the playboy likes kids?*

She made her way towards them and she sat down right next to Kai.

His eyes nearly bulged out of his head after realizing that Minji just approached him.

"I didn't know you like kids." Minji said.

"Uhm....yeah. I don't know....I can't help but to have fun everytime I'm surrounded by little muskateers." Kai said while ruffling the head of the little girl.

"I'm glad that I get to see this new side of you." Minji said and smiled.

Kai blushed after that.

"Oppa, who is she?" A little girl who is wearing a pink shirt with a hello kitty design said.

"She's....a friend of mine." Kai really wanted to tell the kid that Minji is his mate, but that could anger Minji.

"Oppa she's very pretty. You'll be lucky if she will be your mate." The little girl said.

Kai chuckled with the ironic comment "I'll be very lucky if that happens. Minji unni is very very pretty and I will be very very happy if she is my mate."

Minji heart started to speed with what Kai said.

"Her name is Heejin and she's six years old. I met her here just last week." Kai whispered to Minji

"Unni, do you find Kai oppa handsome? Because I think he is very very very very handsome." She said.

Minji giggled with the cute question "A lot of girls go after him so he is indeed very very very handsome."

"Unni~ I asked if YOU think he is handsome." The little girl pouted.

Minji giggled and nervously cleared "Uh....I guess. He is very very handsome."

The little girl pumped her fist up in the air as she said "Yes!"

"See oppa she also thinks your handsome. I really hope that you will find your mate soon so that you won't be sad anymore. I don't want to see oppa sad and crying okay?" 

Heejin's mother suddenly called for her so Heejin bid goodbye and run to her mom.

*He was crying?* somehow it pained Minji with the thought of Kai crying.

"So, what brought you here?" Kai suddenly asked.

"I uh....just went for a walk." She lied.

"Those red puffy eyes are telling the opposite. Did you run away because you had a fight with Luhan hyung or is it some allergies you are getting?" Kai obviously joked about the last part.

Minji looked down to think of an explanation when Kai suddenly said "Yup...it's allergies alright."

She couldn't be more thankful for that nice save from his own question.

She chuckled and she playfully hit Kai's arm.

"No....I guess we had a small argument. I told him I wanted to visit myungsoo to find out more about his case. I was hoping that I could dig up something that could save him. He doesn't deserve death just because he has his own ways in saving his mate. Luhan on the other hand disagreed with everything that I said." She said.

Kai naturally nodded but in the inside he was furious because Luhan made his mate cry.

"Visiting wouldn't hurt. Do you want me to go with you?" Kai offered.

Minji smiled up to her ears and she unconsciously hugged Kai.

Sparks started to explode everywhere once they made such a close physical contact.

Both of them wanted to felt the bond strength thing and their wolves howling in joy.

Minji quickly pulled away, but her body craved for Kai's touch.

"Thank you...Uhm I'll see you tommorrow. Go to my house and we'll go to myungsoo tomorrow." Minji quickly stood up and brisked walked.

The electricity that is still flowing on her body made her giddy with just Kai's presence which is not a good thing.

She has a boyfriend and getting too much physical contact with her mate is considered cheating.

"Okay...bye Minj." Kai said and waved his hands with a smile.

Minji nodded and waved back despite her body and wolf wanting to stay.

After Minji left Kai shouted at the top of his lungs, shouts that are filled with joy.

He never imagined that a day like this would come.

He never felt so happy in his entire existence.

*Gosh....she makes me so happy and mushy. No girl can compare to her.* Kai said as his lips refused to let go of the smile that he is making.
