64: Prophecy
Oh. My. Heroes.[Year 19 of Exile]
“Sehun!”
“N-No! Don’t come near me!”
Taunting laughter erupted from the group of boys, their arrogance etched on their faces. “Aww, your girlfriend has come to save you!” The one that spoke cooed, before a dark expression descended on his face. “How touching.”
“Y-You!” Sehun growled but a gasp of pain followed as the boys kicked at him. The corner of his lips were bleeding and bruises had appeared on his pale limbs. I didn’t want to know about the ones that were covered by his uniform.
“Stop it!”
“Make us.”
“STOP!” I screamed, and that was the last thing I remembered.
“Stop.”
I looked down at the battered and bloody man in front of me.
“Please, stop.”
My brows cocked up in amusement.
“Stop? Stop?” I guffawed in mock happiness as I glared coldly at him. “When I asked for you to stop, did you?”
A scream of pain emitted from him when a bolt of lightning rained down on him, splitting the skin on his arm. Red liquid appeared instantly, joining the rest of the crimson that had already pooled around him.
“I’m sorry.”
“We’re sorry!”
I squatted in front of them, their frightened visages satisfying me. My eyes trailed over their bodies, taking in their tattered shirts and pants, revelling in the red that painted their white shirts. All over their bodies, their arms, their legs, uncountable bleeding cuts adorned them.
“P-Please stop!” They squeaked, bodies pressed together in a tight huddle. “Please!”
I scoffed, a hand reaching out to one of their faces and they simultaneously shrunk away.
“Stop? Stop? When I asked for you to stop, did you?”
The conversation lapsed. I stood up, turning to look at Sehun who was still on the floor.
“I asked for you to stop beating my friend, I begged.” A bolt of lightning struck the cement floor, missing the arm of the boy that was on the outside of the huddle. “But you guys continued to beat him.”
Another bolt struck the other side and strangled cries emitted from the group as their soft voices pleaded for me to stop.
“And for that,” Thunder rumbled overhead, “here’s your punishment.”
Rain poured down from above, and the man’s bloodcurdling screams rang out. The rain enveloped him mercilessly, not knowing the pain that they were causing him. Next to him, the raindrops pelted the lifeless and bloody body of the other man. Up til his death, his eyes held utmost fear.
Fear of me, the ‘monster’.
“Stop! Please!” He continued to wail. The floor began to flood
