In the midst of mel and the rest of the barkada’s conversation… right after kim walked out… Gerald was thinking about something… he was thinking about the way he acted toward’s kim…

Gerald: (thinking) naku, nasaktan ko yata si kim? pero totoo naman yung sinabi ko ah… pero mali pa rin masyado ko siyang nasaktan dahil sa inasal at sinabi ko. At saka I should have thanked her than insulted her… kasi siya yung gumawa ng way para mag kabati kami ni mel…tpos yun pa ang isusukli ko sa kanya…

Gerald was still thinking about what happened when mel came back after her conversation well mostly argument with her barkada..

Mel: hui gerald (waved her hands in front of gerald)

Gerald: (was surprised) huh?! Anu?!

Mel: kasi nakatulala ka dian e… anu ka ba…

Gerald: anu p nga ba… e d tao…

Mel: naku Gerald ayan ka na naman… umaandar na naman yang pagkapilosopo mo ha… and by the way… this is not the time to joke around…

Gerald: grabe ka naman… ang hot mo na naman… relax ka lang… nag jojoke lang naman… just to lighten the mood… teka… bakit ba seryosong seryoso ka dian… anu ba nangyari…

Mel: hello… akala ko ba matalino ka… kung hindi mo napansin… nag walk out ung best friend ko ng dahil sa iyo…

Gerald: well… actually napansin ko… hindi ko lang alam na napaka big deal pala nun…

Mel: alam mo ba na sobra mo siyang nasaktan sa mga sinabi mo… and I wasn’t able to defend her from you… I wasn’t able to defend my bestfriend…

Gerald:  oh… why make a big deal out of it… huh… I was only saying the truth…

Mel: and now my barkada thinks that I am a worthless bestfriend… because of the truth that you are trying to prove… dahil sa iyo I might lose my one and only bestfriend… cause she might also think that I am no good…

Gerald: wait… just wait a minute… why blame all this to me huh?! It is not my fault that your (air quote) bestfriend is so sensitive… and (suddenly stops when he remembered something)

Gerald remembered what happened to kim 3 years ago… with an event before that is  like what just happened with them…

Gerald: (shocked) Oh My Goodness… Kim!!! (rushed out of the mall without even saying good bye to mel…)

Mel was surprised at how gerald just run through the exit of the mall in such a hurry… without even saying goodbye…

Mel: URGHHHH!!! THE NERVE OF THAT GUY!!! I WAS TALKING TO HIM VERY SERIOUSLY… AND THEN HE JUST RUNS OFF LIKE THAT… WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE OR EVEN WHY HE NEEDS TO GO… URGGGHHH!!!

At Erich, maja, beauty, and empress side… they were busy looking for kim… they went at every place they knew that kim could possibly go to… they tried going to 7-eleven where they usually hang out, MCDO, the park, the school, and even at kim’s house…

When they got to Kim’s house… her parent’s were out… and only the yaya was at home… so they aked if they kim was at home…

Rings the doorbell…

When the door was opened by the yaya…

Maja: uhmmm… yaya… nandyan po ba si kim???

Yaya: ai hija wala pa si kim ditto… bakit niyo ba siya hinahanap… eh diba kayo yung kasama niya…

Erich: ah… kasi yaya bigla na lang umalis si kim kanina e… akala namin umuwi na…

Empress: eh yaya… sina ninong at ninang ba… andyan ba sila???

Yaya: ai ma’am empress wla po sila ditto… lumabas po kasama yung mga magulang ninyo… (Particularly the whole barkada’s parents)

Beauty: awww… kasama pala nila mama sila tito at tita… yaya ganito na lang… pag dumating sina tito at tita wag niyo sasabihing hinahanap namin si kim ditto ha.. kasi alam mo naman si tita… mabilis mag panic…

Empress: uo nga… yaya ha… wag mo sasabihin… sabihin mo na lang nasa mall pa kasama namin…

Yaya: sige sige… hanapin niyo na kaagad ung alaga ko ha… naku asan na kaya ung batang un… sige mag ingat kayo ha…

Erich: opo yaya… basata remember ung usapan natin ha…

Yaya: uo… ako na bahala…

Then the barkada left to search for kim again… and still they can’t find kim…

On kim’s side…

Kim was wondering around her special place… the one place where no one could see her… that no one knows existed… it was the old playground at the back of the school… where she was so used to go whenever she feels sad…

Kim was making her way through the tall grass in order to reach the playground…

Kim: (complaining) anu ba ito… sobrang taas na ng mga damo… pero buti na din yun… at least wla talagang mag iisip n naandito ako…

When she made it through… she went to her spot… which she claimed after always sitting there whenever she felt like going to the playground…

Kim was not angry on what Gerald said about her… what she is angry about is that she knew that what gerald told her was the truth… that she is very embarrassing and compulsive… that she acts out of what she feels without thinking about it first… that even though the people around her accepts her flaws… kailangan pa din niyang ayusin ang kanyang mga kilos… na kailangan niyang maging less compulsive for the sake of others… like… Gerald…

Kim: (talking to herself) eto na naman ako… talking with myself… kukumbinsihin ko na naman ang sarili ko na ako ang tama… kahit alam kong hindi… naku… naku… kim… nababaliw ka na talaga… pero diba may tama din naman ako at some point… kahit na sabihin na tama yung sinabi ni Gerald about me being embarrassing… may tama pa din ako… kaya kim wag kang masyadong maguilty sa pag walk out mo sa mga kaibigan mo… may karapatan ka ding mag walk out… saka nakakabastos din naman yung ginawa ni Gerald ah… may right ka na magalit… konti nga lang… argghhhh…. Ang gulo…

On gerald’s side

He went out of the mall as fast as he can right after he remembered the unfortunate event that happened 3 years ago… which put kim’s life in danger…

Gerald: (thinking while running as fast as he can) naku Gerald… your so stupid… bakit mo nga ba inaway ng ganun si kim… naku patay ka sa barkada nun pag may nangyaring masama kay kim… pati hindi ko mapaptawad ang sarili ko kapag may nangyari nga sa kanya…

Gerald felt guilty leaving mel like the way he left her… with no good bye or even warning that he was leaving… so he called mel while looking for kim…

Gerald: hello mel…

Mel: Gerald… naku ikaw bakit mo ako iniwan…

Gerald: I have no time to explain now… pero pag nagkita ulit tayo ipapaliwanag ko sa iyo… by the way… naalala ko lang… diba nangyari na din before kay kim ang mag disappearing act… siguro dapat hinahanap mo na yung bestfriend mo ngayon…

Mel: shocks!! Gelrad… uo nga… naku kailangan ko nang hanapin si kim… bago mangyari ulit yung nangyari before… cge Gerald… I’ll be off finding kim… teka… panu mo nalaman ang tungkol dun…

Gerald: uhhhmmm… kasi… uhmmm… dba nga nabalita sa school yung nangyari kay kim… and siya lang hindi alam kung bakit siya naospital… pati umabsent siya ng matagal nun… so it is given… kung ako sa iyo hinahanap ko na lang si kim kesa interviewhin ako ok… cge… bye…

After that call… Gerald went everywhere that he knew kim could go to… called her other friends besides her barkada… in the hope of finding her there… but no luck… he can’t find her anywhere…

Gerald was so worried… and stopped looking for a while to get something to drink… when he sat and drank… he remembered something again… he went to the place he knew certainly that kim could be at…

But when he got there kim was nowhere to be found… and he was disappointed… for a while he thought kim would go to that place… but he was wrong…

Gerald: (thinking) kim asan ka na ba… saang lupalop ka ba nag punta… nag aalala na ako… kung wala ka ditto saan ka pumunta…

On kim’s side

Sa wakas at natapos na din ang walang hanggang debate ni kim sa sarili niya… at ang lumabas… dpat hindi na lang siya nag walk out… so umalis n siya sa playground…

At sa kakaisip… hindi napansin ni kim na pagabi na… at nagutom din siya from all of the thinking she just did…kaya she went to 7 eleven to buy food… at dun na din siya kumain sa tambayan nila ng barkada niya…

Kim: hayyy… kakagutom talaga ang mag isip… kaya hindi ako masyado nag aaral e… (eats her hot dog)

(thinking )teka… naku patay ako kay daddy… hindi pa ako nauwi… pero hayaan mo na… lumabas naman yun kasama nina tita at tito e… so mamaya pa dadating yun… ikokontrata ko na lang si yaya na wag sabihin kina mama na gabi na ako umuwi…

Suddenly… Gerald was also inside 7 eleven buying coffee to keep him awake… because he was so tired of looking for kim…

So he took a seat and drank his coffee… but what he saw shocked him… he almost blew the coffee that he was drinking…

it was a girl… nakatalikod yung babae… pero he could point out who she was… akala niya namalikmata lang siya… nang biglang nag sideview ang babae na parang may hinahanap… kaya’tnakita niya ang kalahati ng mukha ng babae…

he was surprised to see the girl whom he was looking for the whole day…

si kim… si kim nga yung nakita niya… he was so relieved to know na si kim yun… at least alam niyang ok lang si kim… at walang nangyaring masama ditto… pwede na siyang huminga ng maayos…

Gerald: (thinking) naku… buti naman at ayos lang si kim… akala ko kung anon a nagyari kay kim e… ok lang kaya siya… puntahan ko pala siya para humingi ng sorry…

Gerald was about to go to kim when… 

somebody approached kim from the back…

???: (tickled kim’s side) kimmy…..

Kim: (shocked yet ticklish) si… sino ka… bwahahahaha

???: (shows his face) kimmy!!! Ako ito…
