Kim: Gerald there is no other way. This is the only way. I know you understand.

Gerald: Yes. I understand now. Is this really what you want?

Kim: Yes Gerald. This is what I want.

And tears started falling from their faces.

Gerald: I love you so much Kim. I would do anything for you including this because I know this is what you want.

Gerald hugged Kim and she hugged him back tightly.

Kim: Alagaan mo ng maigi si Erich ha? Subukan mong mahalin siya. Pasayahin mo siya.

Gerald: Aalagaan ko siya. Pero wag mo ng hilingin na mahalin ko siya dahil alam mong hindi ko kaya.

Kim: No Gerald. Please try. It would make me happy.

Gerald: Mahal na mahal kita Kimmy. Mahal na mahal.

Kim: I know.

Gerald took a step back to look at Kim’s face. The both of them stared at each other’s eyes full of love, full of desire and full of sadness. Gerald kissed Kim’s tears from her face.

Gerald: hey, please don’t cry. I don’t want to see you crying remember.

Kim did the same with Gerald.

Kim: Ikaw din. I don’t want to see you crying. So smile ka na.

Kim placed her thumbs on each end of Gerald’s lips to form a smile.

Kim: Ayan gwapo ka na.

Gerald: Matagal na akong gwapo.

Kim: Ang alam ko matagal ka ng mayabang.

Gerald: I missed you so much Kimmy.

Kim: I missed you so much Ge.

They hugged each other.

Gerald: Kim?

Kim: hmmm?

Gerald: Can we stay here for tonight? Can we be together tonight?

Kim: I would love that Ge.

Gerald: Thanks.

Then Gerald kissed Kim’s forehead.

Kim: Ano ba yan? Halik pang lola naman yan eh. (>3<)

Gerald laughed at Kim’s expression and what she said.

Gerald: So anong gusto mong kiss? Pang mag-asawa ba?

Kim blushed with what Gerald said.

Kim: H-hindi no! (>////<) Saan mo naman nakuha yang idea na yan?

Gerald: Alam mo ang cute cute mo talaga pag nag blu-blush.

Gerald pinched Kim’s cheeks.

Kim: ARAY!

Gerald let go of her cheeks and saw it was turning red.

Kim: grabe ang sakit. (>3<)

Gerald: Masakit ba talaga?

Kim nodded.

Gerald: Sige gagamutin natin. (^_____^)

Kim: (O_O) h-huh? Gagamotin? Paano?

Gerald: Ganito oh.

Gerald held Kim’s face and kissed both of her red cheeks. Kim was stunned and blushed once more.

Gerald: Ok na ba? Hindi na masakit?

Kim: (>////<) a-ahh.. o-oo… hindi na. th-thanks.

Gerald laughed at Kim’s reaction.

Kim: Bakit ka tumatawa?

Gerald: Nakakatawa kasi yung reaction mo eh. Kanina ka pa nag blu-blush ha. Masyado namang obvious na kinikilig ka sa akin. (^_^)

Kim: A-ako? K-kinikilig?! Di no! asa ka pa!

She stuck her tongue out.

Gerald: Para ka talagang bata Kimmy. Halika nga dito.

Kim followed Gerald who is currently sitting on the ground near the cliff.

Gerald: Sit down beside me.

Kim sat down beside him and leaned on his shoulder while Gerald has his arm around Kim’s shoulders.

Gerald: It feels so good to have you here in my arms.

Kim: I know right. I also feel the same. It feels really good to be in your arms.

Gerald: If only we can stay like this forever. Can we just stay here and not go back?

Kim: I want that too Ge. But we can’t. We already talked about this.

Gerald: Hey, please don’t get upset. I just you to know how much I love this moment right now. And I know that your parents would be worried sick if you don’t come back.

Kim: Oh God! I forgot about my parents. They are going to look for me. They must be so worried. I need to call them.

Gerald: Well you are right. They are very worried about you especially tito Frank. Do you want to call them?

Kim: Yes please. Or you can just text them and tell them I’m ok.

Gerald: why just text them?

Kim: I want to just spend this night na ikaw lang ang kausap ko at ikaw lang ang naririnig ko. Gusto ko lubos lubosin ang moment na ito ok lang ba?

Gerald: Ok na ok sa akin yun. (^___^)

Gerald texted Frank telling him that he is with Kim now and they need not to worry. He also told him that they would not be coming home tonight because they were at Tagaytay. Frank was relieved to know that Kim was fine and gave his permission since he trust Gerald so much.

Gerald: Ok na. I told tito Frank that you are with me. He also said it was fine that we don’t go home tonight.

Kim: Thanks Ge.

Gerald: By the way. Did you know that he was so frustrated with Enchong for not taking good care of you?

Kim: (O_O) really? Kawawa naman si Chong.

Gerald: Anong kawawa? Tama lang sa kanya yun no! Hindi siya naging mabuting boyfriend. Pinabayaan ka niya.

Kim: Ge since we are talking about Enchong and you already know what I really feel maybe you should know the truth.

Gerald: Truth? About what?

Kim: About Enchong and I.

Gerald: ok, I’m listening.

Kim: We are really not in a relationship. It’s all pretend.

Gerald: (O_O) Really? Thank God!

Kim: Why is that your reaction?

Gerald: How do you want me to react? I’m just thankful that you are not really with him.

Kim: Well, I was expecting you to get mad because of our pretend relationship.

Gerald: I don’t want to ruin this moment that’s why I’m not mad and I’m just happy knowing that you did not really choose him over me. (^_^)

Kim: Of course not! I would never choose anyone over you.

Gerald: Well, except your friends right? (_ _)

Kim looked at Gerald and held his face.

Kim: Hey, look at me. I thought you don’t want to ruin this moment? We should just relax and be happy ok.

Gerald nodded.

Kim: By the way. You should be thankful to Enchong.

Gerald: Why would i? (O_O)

Kim: Because, he was the one who comforted me during my weakest times.

Gerald: That was supposed to be me. (>3<)

Kim: Don’t pout!

Gerald: Why? (>3<)

Kim: You look too cute if you do.

Gerald: I would always pout from now on! (>3<)

Kim: Yah! Don’t you look awful!

Gerald: I thought you said I look cute? Now I look awful?

Kim: I’m just joking. You are so adorable!

Gerald: Sige nga kung adorable ako kiss mo nga ako.

Gerald has his lips puckered waiting for Kim to kiss him.

Kim: Ayaw ko nga! HMPF!

Gerald: Bakit?

Kim: You made out with Erich and you expect me to kiss you! No way!

Gerald: Ehhhhh! Wala lang naman talaga yun eh.

Kim: Weh?! Di nga?!

Gerald: Kimmy naman. Don’t be like that. I swear wala talaga yun.

Kim: E bakit kailangan with tongue ang halik?

Gerald: Kimmy naman! (>////<)

Kim: Oh bakit ka nahihiya? Nakita ko na tapos saka ka pa mahihiya.

Gerald: Kimmy sorry na dun sa ginawa ko.

Kim: Ge, you don’t need to say sorry. I’m fine with it. I was just teasing you ok.

Gerald: Are you sure? Hindi ka nagseselos?

Kim: I don’t have the right to be jealous. Hindi naman tayo eh. (_ _)

Gerald: Tayo kaya!

Kim: Huh?! Sino may sabi?

Gerald: Ako! Boyfriend mo ako ngayon at girlfriend naman kita! (^_^)

Kim: Sure k aba diyan? Gusto mo akong maging girlfriend?

Gerald: I have never been as sure as I am now in my entire life. (^_^)

Kim: Pero Ge… Bukas or pag-uwi natin alam mong hindi talaga pwede.

Gerald: I know. Pero I want to spend this night without any regrets. I want to only think of us. Just the two of us. I don’t want to think of what tomorrow would bring. What only matters now is us ok.

Kim: Sige na nga! I will be selfish just today! Magpapakasaya muna ako kasama ang taong mahal ko!

Gerald: Very Good! So will you kiss that person now?

Kim: It’s still a NO!

Gerald: Ehhh! Why?! Tayo naman na diba?

Kim: Eh you kissed Erich nga kasi diba? Hindi lang basta basta kiss pero make out! If I would kiss you it would be like I kissed her as well which is very disgusting for me.

Gerald: If I wash my mouth, would you kiss me then?

Kim: I’ll think about it. Uhmmm… maybe.

Gerald: Yes! We should go then! I need to wash my mouth!

Kim laughed at Gerald.

Kim: Mr. Anderson. Yan lang ba ang habol mo sa akin? Kiss?

Gerald: Of course not Ms. Chiu. I’m not ony after a kiss.

Kim: (O_O) W-what else?

Gerald: All of you.

Kim: (O_O) ahhh, ehhh… Siguro gutom lang yan. We should go and look for some place to eat.

Gerald: Ikaw naman Kimmy, I was just teasing. Relax ka lang. I respect you and I won’t do anything that you don’t want.

Kim: Thanks Ge. But we should really go. Gutom na ako eh.

Gerald: I missed your appetite. Takaw mo pa rin!

Kim: Hindi no! Ngayon na lang ulit ako tumakaw itanong mo pa kay Chong.

Gerald: Kaya naman pala lalo kag pumayat eh! Bakit hindi ka kumakain?

Kim: Ahhh, eehhh… kasi ano kasi e…

Gerald: Tara na! Papakainin kita ng madami!

Gerald was dragging Kim towards the hi-way and when they got there he called Mang Cardo to pick them up.

When Mang Cardo arrived after 5 minutes Gerald opened the car door for Kim.

Mang Cardo: Nice to see you Kim.

Kim: Kayo din po Mang Cardo. Na miss ko kayo.

Mang Cardo: Ako din. Na miss kita.

Gerald: Mang Cardo aagawan niyo pa ata ako eh.

Kim: Ge, ano ka ba?

Gerald: Joke lang naman eh.

Mang Cardo: Saan po tayo?

Gerald: sa restaurant po.

Kim: T-teka.kakain tayo ng ganito ang suot?

Gerald: Bakit? Ok lang naman ang suot natin ah.

Kim: Ge if you didn’t notice naka gown ako at naka suit ka. Hindi ba’t parang over dressed tayo?

Gerald: Hindi no! Ok lang yan. Paki ba nila? Maganda at gwapo naman tayo kaya ok lang yan.

Kim: Yabang mo talaga! Pero ang pangit ko na. Tingnan mo kalat na make-up ko saka magulo buhok ko.

Gerald: You’re still the most beautiful person in the world Kimmy so don’t worry.

Kim: Ehhh! Bola ka lang naman eh! Nahihiya ako.

Gerald: Do you want me to rent out the whole restaurant then? Para walang makakita sayo kung nahihiya ka.

Kim: (O_O) A-ano?! WAG!

Gerald: Eh nahihiya ka kasi. Paano ka makakakain ng maayos niyan?

Kim: Ok na pala. Sige hindi na ako nahihiya. Mag aayos na lang ako ng konti.

Gerald: Very Good!

They were holding each others hands while they headed towards the restaurant. When they reached their destination Gerald helped Kim out of the car and went inside hand in hand.

Gerald was the one to order for the both of them and Kim was just staring lovingly at him.

Gerald: Why are you staring at me like that? Masyado ba akong gwapo?

The both of them laughed at Gerald’s remark.

Kim: Oo! Sobrang gwapo ng boyfriend ko ngayon.

Gerald: Eh, Kimmy wag ka ngang ganyan. Kinikilig ako masyado.

Kim: Hala! Para kang sira Ge.

Gerald: Pero hindi nga. Ano yung iniisip mo kanina?

Kim: Na realize ko lang. Mahal na mahal pala kita.

Water was pooling from Gerald’s eyes and Kim noticed this.

Kim: Hey, why are you crying.

Gerald: I’m just so happy to hear that from you.

Kim: Eh narinig mo naman na sa akin yan kanina diba? Sinigaw ko pa nga remember?

Kim laughed.

Gerald: Oo nga sinigaw mo nga, pero hindi directly sa akin. Ngayon mo lang kasi sinabi sa akin na mahal mo ako directly and hearing it made me the happiest person on earth.

Kim: Ge, I love you, I love you, I love you. I want you to know that ok. I love you so much.

Gerald held Kim’s hand which is on the table and gave it a squeeze.

Gerald: I love hearing that from you. Thank you Kimmy.

Kim: For what?

Gerald: For letting me hear you say that you love me. For being my girlfriend even just for tonight. Most of all thank you for loving me.

Kim: Ge, I’m more thankful to be with you now.

Then the food came and they ate together. Feeding each other and just cherishing every second that they are together because they know that once they return home everything will have to change.

After eating they went to the hotel. Infront of the fireplace they sat on the floor while cuddling.

Gerald: Ano ang plano natin when we get home?

Kim: Well, you will be with Erich and I will be the same as before but this time I would not be pretending to be with Enchong.

Gerald: Kimmy I’m having doubts about being with Erich.

Kim: Ge, we already talked about this. This is what I want.

Gerald: Pero this would not make you happy.

Kim: I know pero I have no choice.

Gerald: Ano ba talaga ang dahilan kung bakit hindi tayo pwede? Hindi ako naniniwalang ayaw mo lang masaktan si Erich.

Kim: Hindi ko pwedeng sabihin sayo pero ang alam ko lang ito ang makakabuti sa lahat.

Gerald: Itanan na lang kaya kita? Kaya naman kitang buhayin. We can manage. Pwede ring pumunta tayo sa malayong malayong lugar yung walang nakakakilala sa atin at dun na tayo mamuhay.

Kim: Ge, ang bata pa natin tapos tanan na agad nasa isip mo. Magagalit din sina mama at papa sa atin kung gagawin natin yun. At alam mong hindi ko kayang iwan ang mga kaibigan ko.

Gerald: Pero…

Kim placed her index finger over Gerald’s mouth.

Kim: No buts. Pero what if nga kaya magtanan tayo. Ano kaya ang mangyayari? Paano tayo mabubuhay? Saan tayo titira?

Gerald: Bubuo tayo ng pamilya kung nagkataon. Tapos I would work for our family total I’m very capable naman. Tapos dito tayo sa Tagaytay titira. Gusto mo bay un?

Kim slapped Gerald’s arm.

Kim: Anong bubuo ng pamilya!? Agad-agad?! Ang bata ko pa para sag anon saka sino ka si Angelito? Ang batang ama?

The both of them laughed at the thought.

Gerald: Pero diba parang ang saya nun. May little Kimmy at little Ge tayo. Tapos uuwi ako nagluluto ka then sasalubungin nila ako. It would be the best feeling going home seeing you and our kids.

Kim: Yeah, that would be really fun.

Gerald: Tara gawa na tayo ng little Kimmy and Ge.

Gerald was raising his eyebrows up and down while looking at Kim.

Kim: Hoy GERALD! WAG NA WAG MO AKONG TINGNAN NG GANYAN! AYAW KO NG GANYAN! BATA PA TAYO!

Then Kim threw Gerald a pillow and hit him right on the face. But Gerald was persistent and was about to catch Kim but she was fast enough to avoid him and run.

They were running around the room until Gerald was able to get a hold of Kim. He was leaning closer to Kim face. Kim was afraid of what Gerald would do thinking that he might kiss her but then again Gerald just tickled Kim until she was lying on her back on the floor but Gerald kept on tickling her.

Kim: T-tama na! Ge! Tama na! Sakit na ng tiyan ko! Please.

Gerald stopped tickling Kim and just stared at her.

Kim can see and feel how much Gerald loves her. It hurts her thinking that once they get home they can’t be like this anymore. So she decided to at least give Gerald something to treasure.

She put one of her hands on Gerald’s hair and the other on his nape. Gerald was surprised with what Kim did. Slowly, Kim was pulling Gerald closer to her and when they only an inch apart Kim whisphered.

Kim: I love you Gerald. I love you so much.

And then she pulled Gerald to close the remaining distance between them and their lips touched.
