Kim and Gerald talked and laughed the whole time Kim was waiting for her kada’s usual time to go to school. What she doesn’t know is that her kada was already in their hang out way before her.

When it was the usual time that Kim’s kada arrices at school, Kim and Gerald went to Kim’s hang out place.

What they didn’t expect was to see her kada already there.

Kim: Oh, bakit andito na kayo? (with a curious face)

Maja: (looking shocked ) Uhmmm, uhmmm.

Erich: (steps in) Wala lang… Bakit bawal?

Kim: Hindi naman sa bawal. Hindi lang ako sanay na maaga kayo. No offense pero lagi kayong late eh. (giggles)

Maja: (acts hurt) ouch, hurt naman kami dun.

Kim: Just saying the truth…

Mel: Guys tanggapin na lang natin, totoo naman eh…

Everybody laughs.

Then Gerald coughs so that he would be noticed.

Ge: Ehemmm…

Kim: Ai! Sorry Ge, masyado lang kami nagkattuwaan…

Ge: okay lang yun…

Mel: Sorry na ignore ka namin ha.

Ge: No need to say sorry, no harm done.

Maja: Teka, ba yung narinig ko kanina?

Empress: Alin yun?

Maja: Yung tawag ni Kim kay Gerald… Ge bay un?

Kim became shy.

Beauty: oo nga, narinig ko din yun. What’s up with that?

Kim: ahhh, uhmmm. Eh… Ano kasi, uhmmm

Empress:ate Kim… may something ba?

Kim: anong something ka diyan! Wala lang yun.

Gerald: oo nga, wala lang yun… Bagong nickname lang sa akin ni Kimmy yun… (pinches Kim’s cheeks)

Kim: ano ka ba! (slightly embarassed) at kelan pa ako naging Kimmy? Kala ko ikaw lang ang may bagong nickname.

Gerald: Wala lang… cute kaya… Kimmy (pinches Kim’s cheeks)

Kim: Tigilan mo nga ako… Kakahiya eh…

Erich: Hindi, okay lang. Don’t be shy… Ipagpatuloy niyo lang ang harutan… Nood lang kami dito…

Maja: TAMA!

Kim: Aa naman eh… Wag kayong ganyan. Kakahiya kay Ge.

Empress: Parang napa sobra ang hiya mo ngayonah… lahat na lang ay nahihiya ka.

Kim: Ai ewan ko sa inyo… bahala kayo diyan. (walk out)

Mel: (Took Kim’s arm) Teka ito naman pikon masyado. Meron ka ba? (laughs)

Everyone laughs except Kim.

Kim: Aa naman eh! Bakit ba ako ang pinagkakaisahan at pinagtritripan ninyo?

Ge: relax ka lang Kimmy. Hindi naman sag anon. Naninibago lang din siguro sila ksai naging mahiyain ka bigla… (laughs)

Empres: Tama!

Erich: Yup, ganun na nga… (laughs also)

Kim: eh kasi naman, (whispers) andito kaya si Ge.

Ge: Huh? Ano sabi mo?

Kim: Wala yun, never mind.

The bell rings…

Ge: Okay, ganito na lang. Para mawala yang init ng ulo at tampo mo, ililibre na lang kita. Tutal may utang ako sa iyo diba.

Beauty: Teka, teka, paano naman kami?

Kim: (elbows Beauty and whispers) mahiya ka naman.

Ge: (heard what Kim said) No, it’s fine with me. Para makabawi na din ako sa inyo.

Kim’s kada: Yehey!!! Thank you Gerald.

They hugged Gerald.

Ge: It is nothing girls… (looks at Kim smiling)

Kim: (Kim looks back smiling also) Okay, tama nay an baka mahuli pa tayo sa klase.

They went to their classes.

During class, Mel and Erich planned yet again the supposed test to be given to Gerald.

MeL: Itutuloy pa ba natin yun?

Erich: oo naman. Nakait naman hindi?

MeL: Hindi pa ba sapat yung gagawin niya mamaya? Biro mo yun gagawa siya ng effort mawala lang yung asar ni Kim.

Erich: Pero diba siya na nga ang nag sabi  na pambayad utang din yun.

Mel: Pero Erich, pambayad utang man yun or hindi. Ang effort ay effort pa din. Hindi natin mababago ang reality na si Gerald ay concerned for Kim to the extent of making an effort, not only for her, but also for us.

Erich: Wow! Iba ka talaga Mel. Lalo na pag seryoso, nakaka dala. (laughing)

Mel: Ito naman. Nag seseryoso na nga eh, I’m just trying to make you understand.

Erich: Fine. (showing a hands up) Wag na natin ituloy. In one condition.

Mel: (confused) Condition? Ano?

Erich: We would try to test his patience later for us. Asarin natin. Pag hindi nainis, okay na ang lahat. Ano call?

Mel: (still confused) teka, hindi ba’t parang tinetest pa din natin siya. Actually it’s already a test.

Erich: (Excited) Exactly!

Mel: (sigh) Kala ko naman naintindihan mo na ako kanina. Pero sige ikaw ang bahala. Explain mo na lang kina Empress, Maha at Beauty.

Erich: (smiles widely) Sure.

Mel: Wait, remember, don’t go to overboard okay?

Erich: Sure! I won’t but please go with the flow okay?

During recess, Erich and Mel immediately went to the other 3 to explain the plan. What they forgot is, they left Kim behind.

Kim went looking for Erich and Mel in their room, but they already left. Upset as she is, she will go to recess alone.

She walked looking down without looking where she is going.

Kim: (sad) hmpff… First time ito ha! Mag-isa ako sa recess.

Suddenly, she bumped into someone. She fell.

Kim: (trying to get up) sorry. Hindi kita nakita.

The person she bumped into offered his hands.

?: Don’t worry it’s just fine.

When Kim looked up she was surprised to see who it was.

Kim: Enchong! It’s you! I’m really sorry. (bowing her head)

Enchong: Stop apologizing Kim. It’s not your fault. (smiling) But I’m just wondering why are you alone?

Kim: Well, my barkada left me so I don’t have a choice. What about you? Where is Gerald?

Enchong: Oh, so that is why. Well, Gerald is at his favorite place.

Kim: Let me guess. The library right? (laughing)

Enchong: You’re right. I guess the both of you are getting along well.

Kim: No, it is not that. I was just caught off guard by what you did. But don’t worry I’m not mad. I’m even glad you did it. (smiling)

Enchong: Really? You are glad? Then that is good. (smiling)

Kim: Anyways, thank you. Somehow I forgot that I was even upset.

Enchong: Well, if so, would you mind if I join you this recess?

Kim: I’m sorry, maybe next time.

Enchong: (disappointed) It’s fine, go ahed.

Kim went ahead leaving Enchong. She remembered that Ge was at the library so she went there instead.

Kim looked for Ge and when she found him reading she went to him.

Kim: (flirty voice)Excuse me. Is this seat taken? (trying not to laugh)

Gerald was wondering who is the flirt talking.

Gerald: (thinking) sino kaya itong malandi ang boses?

When Gerald saw Kim, he yelled.

Gerald: (shouting) What the!

The students all looked at Gerald. Even the librarian “shushed”

Kim: (laughing) He, what are you doing? Why did you shout?

Gearld: It’s because of you.

Kim: (still laughing) Me? What did I do? I just asked if the seat was taken.

Gerald: Just seat down and stop laughing. (somewhat mad)

Kim: Okay, I would stop. But tell me why did you yelled.

Gerald: Never mind it okay.

Kim: Is it because you thought someone beautiful could be flirting with you and it turned out to be only me? Were you that disappointed that it was just me? (seem upset)

Gerald: Don’t play that trick on me. I should be the one upset because you creeped up on me.

Gerald: okay fine. Don’t get upset, I wasn’t disappointed. I was just shocked to see that the flirt I heard was you. You know, I never thought of you as a… flirt. Stop being upset okay. I don’t want to see you like that.

Kim: Sorry too. For creeping up like that and using the flirty voice. But do admit it was effective. Right? (smiling)

They went out of the library.
