Gerald: (laughs) Well, it feels good to know that you still see me the same way.

Kim: Of course nothing will change. I am your bestfriend after all. (^__^)

Gerald got up from his seat and went to Kim to hug her. Kim hugged him back.

Their friendship became stronger now that Kim knows about Gerald’s personal life. After their dinner, they decided to call it a night. Gerald escorted Kim to her room.

Kim: thank you for the dinner Ge.

Gerald: No Kim, thank you.

Kim: For what?

Gerald: For listening to my story, for understanding why I chose to hide it from you and everyone else, for accepting me and most especially (hold Kim’s hands) for being there for me.

Kim: You shouldn’t thank me for any of those Ge. That is what a true friend should do right. You are also a very special and important person in my life, and I wouldn’t let anything like that break us apart or affect our friendship. So don’t worry too much ok. Nothing will change. I promise. (holds Gerald’s hand tighter) Sige na, you should sleep already. It is already late in the evening and we still have a lot of things to do tomorrow. Remember you promised to do everything I want right? (^____^)

Gerald: (laughs) Well, I should sleep then. It looks like I would need a lot of energy for the activities that you have in mind. Good night Kimmy!

Kim: Ok, good night Ge!

Gerald left Kim in her room and went straight to his room. They slept peacefully.

The next day, Gerald woke up early to fix breakfast for Kim. He cooked her favourite breakfasts which are pancakes, bacon and a cup of hot chocolate.

When he finished cooking, he brought it to Kim’s room. He found Kim still sleeping so he placed it on the end table and carefully woke Kim up.

He nudged Kim’s arm and called her name. When Kim didn’t wake up, Gerald neared his face to Kim’s and was about to kiss her but Kim opened her eyes and out of shock she jerked her head resulting to hitting Ge’s forehead with her own.

KIMERALD: Ouch!

The both of them touched their aching foreheads. Gerald backed away and sat near the edge of the bed while Kim sat up.

Gerald: Kimmy! Napatunayan ko na. Sobra pala talagang tigas ng ulo mo.

Kim: Che! Ikaw naman kasi bakit ang lapit lapit ng mukha mo sa mukha ko! Ano balak mo gawin ha!?

Gerald: Hoy Kimberly, wala akong balak sayong gawing masama bukod sa gisingin ka! Saka, di ka ganoon ka y at kagandahan para pag nasaan ko.

Kim threw a pillow towards Gerald’s direction.

Kim: Ang sama sama ng ugali mo Ge! (>.<) E di ako na ang pangit! Ako na ang hindi y! Ikaw naman mukhang KURIMAW! (>___<)

Gerald: Itong mukhang to (pointing his face) mukhang KURIMAW? Itong gwapong nilalang na to KURIMAW? Aba Kimberly Malabo na ata ang paningin mo.

Kim: Aba Geraldo! Masyado ka naman atang mayabang! Mas malinaw pa nga mata ko kesa sa iyo e. Baka ikaw ang Malabo ang mata. (sticks her tongue out) saka, bakit ka ba nasa kwarto ko ha!?

Gerald went to get the food that he brought in with him and placed it on his lap.

Gerald: Kasi po, bibigyan sana kita ng pagkain. Baka po kasi gutom na ang mahal na prinsesa.

Kim: (O_O) pagkain? Anong pagkain?

Gerald: Pancakes, bacon saka Hot choco lang naman yung dala ko. Kaso ako na lang pala ang kakain.

Kim: WAHHH! Favourites ko! Bakit mo kakainin! E diba para sa akin yan! Kaya akin na!

Kim tried to get the tray from Gerald but he moved it away from her reach.

Gerald: Opppssss, bawal! Akin na ito ngayon kasi inaway mo ako.

Kim: Ge naman e, sorry na. Hindi na kita aawayin. Akin na yan please! (>___<)

Gerald: No, akin na ito! Yummm! Sarap pa naman nitong mga ito. (^____^)

Gerald was about to take a bite of the pancake but Kim took a hold of his hand and the food went straight to instead.

Kim: (^____^) YUMMM! Sarap nga GE! Akin na lang please. Love naman kita eh!

Gerald: Syempre masarap yan! Ako ata nag luto niyan!

Kim: (O__O) seryoso? Ikaw ang nag luto?

Gerald: OO naman. Sino pa ba?

Kim: Maalam ka palang mag luto? Grabe! Akala ko room service lang.

Gerald: Ipinagluto talaga kita. I want your stay here in Tagaytay as memorable as possible.

Kim: So, ibibigay mo na sa akin talaga yang food? (^___^)

Gerald: Pasalamat ka mabait ako.

Kim: Yehey! Salamat Ge! Akin na yan. Kakain na ako (^__^)

Gerald: Dahan dahan, baka matapon pa e. Sayang yung effort ko pag tumapon yan.

Kim: Ikaw ba Ge kumain ka na?

Gerald shook his head.

Kim: Huh?! Bakit naman? Nakapag luto ka para sa iba pero sa sarili mo hindi. (>__<)

Gerald: Eh tinapos ko muna yang food mo para makakain ka na e.

Kim: Kahit pa, next time unahin mo muna sarili mo ok?

Gerald: bago yan, kumain ka na muna ok. Ubosin mo, kung hindi mag tatampo ako.

Kim: Kakain ako basta sasabayan mo ako.

Gerald: ayaw ko! Ginawa ko yan para sayo. Saka favourite mo yan e. ayaw kitang agawan.

Kim: Hindi mo naman ako aagawan e. Basta hindi ako kakain hanggat hindi mo ako sasabayan.

Gerald: Fine.

Kim started eating and simultaneously she feeds Gerald as well.

Kim: Ge! Open your mouth. Ito na ang airplane (moves the spoon like an airplane towards Ge’s mouth)

After eating, they decided to take a bath so that they can start doing some sight seeing and the other things Kim has in mind.

They got ready and they went in the car. While in the car Gerald pointed and told Kim what are the places that they are passing through.

Kim: Gerald lagi ka ba dito sa Tagaytay?

Gerald: Medyo, bakit mo naitanong?

Kim: Eh kasi talo mo pa ang tour guide sa galing e. Memorize mo ata lahat ng lugar dito e. (^__^)

Gerald: Ito kasi ang favourite place ko.

Kim: Bakit? Dahil malamig? Dapat nag Baguio ka na lang.

Gerald: well, isa yun sa mga dahilan pero may iba pa.

Kim: Like?

Gerald: Dito kasi maaliwalas. Napaka relaxing ng atmosphere. Malayo sa ingay at gulo ng cuidad. Nakaka pag isip ako ng maayos. Dito ako pumupunta tuwing gusto kong mapag isa.

Kim: Eh bakit mo ako sinama dito? E parang ito ang safe haven mo.

Gerald: Kasi gusto ko Makita mo kung ano yung nakikita ko, kung ano yung nararamdaman ko. (looks at Kim)

Kim: (looks at Ge) thank you Ge.

Gerald: What are you thanking me for?

Kim: Thank you for trusting me enough to tell me your secret and showing me your safe haven.

Gerald: Syempre, you are my bestfriend right? I want you to know me better. (^__^)

Gerald told Mang Cardo to go to his favourite spot in Tagaytay.

When they reached it, Gerald got out of the car and opened the car door for Kim.

They left Mang Cardo to go to the vantage point.

Kim was amazed with what she saw.

Gerald: Do you like it Kimmy?

Kim: (O__O) à (^_________^) YES! I love it Ge! Ang ganda ditto! Kitang kita yung Mt. Taal. Paano mo nalaman ang lugar na ito?

Gerald: I thought so. I found this place accidentally when I was strolling 5 years ago. I was also stunned with its beauty. After that, I always make sure that when I come here in Tagaytay I would find time to visit this place. No one knows this place except from me not even Mang Cardo. He only knows the place but not the specific spot, that is why we left him with the car.

Kim: (O_O) grabe Ge! Ang ganda talaga dito. Tahimik pa, saka walang ibang tao. (^___^)

Gerald: That is what I like best about this place. I can do anything I want without caring if anyone can see me. You can even shout if you want, nobody will be able to hear you. (^_^)

Kim: Bakit mo ako dinala ditto Ge?

Gerald: Wala lang. I just want to show you my world just like what I said kanina.

Kim hugged Gerald.

Kim: Thank you talaga Ge. (breaks off from the hug) Pero hindi k aba nanghihinayang na may iba ng nakaka alam? Hindi na siya exclusive para sayo. (>.<)

Gerald: Ok lang yun Kimmy. Ikaw naman ang may alam e.

They stayed there for a long time. They lay on the grass talking about random things like the clouds, aliens and other things. They didn’t even notice that it was already night time. They just did when they saw the stars.

Kim: Look Ge! (pointing the night sky) And daming stars oh! (^___^)

Gerald: Alam mo para kang bata na ngayon lang nakakita ng stars. (laughing)

Kim: MEANIE! (>.<) Bihira kasi akong makakita ng madaming stars. Kakaunti na kasi yung visible doon sa atin e. My times pa na wala talaga (>_<)

Gerald: Wag na pong malungkot. Ayan nyung stars oh. Titigan mo na para madami kang baon pag balik natin. Para hindi mo masyadong ma miss.

Kim: Parang connect the dots sila no?

Gerald: OO nga e. Kailangan nila yung iba para mabuo sila. Kasi hindi nay un yung constellation kung kulang ng isa hindi ba? Parang sa tao lang. May mga taong kulang sila pag nawala yung importanteng parte ng buhay nila. (looks at Kim)

Kim: Parang tayo lang. Kulang yung isa pag wala yung isa. Kaya wag ka mawawala ha. Magiging kulang yung buhay ko pag nawala ka. (;___;)

Gerald: Wag ka umiyak. Ang iyakin mo talaga. Hindi ako mawawala sayo ok? Lagi mong tatandaan yan. (wipes Kim’s tears) Smile, dapat masaya ka kasi madaming stars.

Kim: (^_____^) ano bay an, umiyak pa ako. Dapat nga masaya ako. Madami ng stars nasa isang magandang lugar pa ako at higit sa lahat kasama ko ang bestfriend ko. (hugs Gerald while still lying down)

Gerald: Ang drama mo talaga. (hugs Kim back) Kimmy look at the sky. May meteor shower ngayon oh. Mag wish ka, ang dami mong maii-wish.

Kim: Ang ganda (^____^) sige mag wish tayo.

They closed their eyes to make their wish.

While Kim still has her eyes closed, Gerald opened his eyes and gazed at Kim.

Gerald: (thinking) My only wish is to be with this wonderful for the rest of my life and be able to tell her how I love her so much.

Kim opened her eyes and saw Gerald staring at her.

Kim: oh, Ge, tapos ka na mag wish?

Gerald: ahhh, ehhh, oo. (^__^;))

Kim: Ano winish mo?

Gerald: Secret. (^________^)

Kim: Ang daya daya mo! Ano kasi? Come on, tell me please. (>3<)

Gerald: Ayaw ko! Baka hindi mag katotoo pag sinabi ko sayo.

Kim: Ay, you are right! Sige sige wag na lang (^___^)

Gerald: Ano, tara na? Gabi na masyado eh, baka nakatulog na si Mang Cardo. (laughs)

Kim: (laughs) oo nga pala, si Mang Cardo. Nako, tara na. Balik na tayo sa Hotel.

The two of them went back to where they were dropped off and they went back to the hotel. They were too tired that they didn’t even bother to eat dinner.

Again, the two of them fell asleep with smiles on their faces.
