Kim and Gerald continued on talking while eating. They had a lot of fun sharing their insights talking about school and more. When they finally finished eating, they decided to go home already, they said their good byes to each other, and as a gentleman, Gerald waited for Kim to be picked up by his Daddy before he left. He even greeted Mr. Chiu.

Frank: Kim let’s go?

Kim: yes Dad.

Gerald: Good night po sir, Kim.

Frank: Good night. Thanks.

Kim: Gerald, goodnight, thank you ulit. Sa uulitin. (laughing)

Gerald: your welcome

After Kim left, Gerald asked, Manong Cardo to pick him up.

Both Kim and Gerald had a wonderful night.

Mel, Erich, Empress, Maja and Beauty planned to go to school earlier than usual. They want to discuss the thing about Gerald, because all of them still doesn’t comfortable with Gerald hanging out with Kim.They are afraid that he might upset her again something worst than before would happen to her.

At their usual hang out place…

Erich: Guys, we need to do something about Gerald.

Maja: Do we really need to do anything?

Mel: Oo nga, I think we don’t have to do anything about him.

Erich: Ano ba kayo? Kailangan nating ilayo si Gerald kay Kim! Baka kung ano pa ang mangyari sa kanya pag sumama pa din siya sa lalaking iyon.

Maja: Teka, akala ko ba ok na tayo doon. Diba napag usapan na natin ito? Naipaliwanag na pati ni Kim ang lahat diba?

Erich: Well, kahit pa, we need yo make sure na wala ng mangyayaring masama sa kanya.

MeL: (holding Ercih’s shoulder) Erich, calm down will you. Mabait si Gerald and I’m sure of it. Remember that I once hated him, but now we are friends. I’ve got to hang out with him and I got to know him better. He’s a nice guy Erich.

Beauty: Let’s try to get to know him first. Let’s give him a chance guys.

Erich: Ok, fine. I’ll give him a chance, but like I saidwe need to make sure. Pero paano?

Empress: teka, kanina ko pa nakikinig yang(air quote) “make sure nayan” kaya napa isip ako. Why won’t we just give him a test or something?

Maja: (hugs empress) Empress, ang galing mo talaga! Paano mo naisip yun?

Empress: (tries to get out of Maja’s hug) Oy! Umayos ka nga, nakakahiya, may mga ibang tao/

Maja: sorry, masyado lang akong na excite. Ang galing galing mo  kasi.

Empress: kayo lang naman eh. Wala kayong bilib sa akin. Nasa lahi na naming yun. (grins widely)

All of them laughed at Empress. When the laughs subsided, Mel began to wonder.

Mel: wait, sabi niyo bibigyan natin si Gerald ng test. Paano natin gagawin iyon ng hindi nalalaman ni Kim?

Beauty: bakit naman kailangan pa natin hindi ipaalam kay Kim? Diba nga “No Secrets”.

Erich: Beauty, tama si Mel. We shouldn’t let Kim know. Baka kasi magalit yun pag nalaman niya.

Empress: kilala ko si ate Kim. Ayaw niya ng may itinatago sa kanya. So I’m sure mas magagalit siya kung hindi natin sasabihin sa kanya.

Mel: Well, may point ka diyan Empress. Pero may isa pa akong worry besides that.

Maja: There goes Mel with her “brianiac mode” (laughs)

All except Mel laughed.

Mel: haha! Very funny! (acts like she’s mad)

Maja: naku nagtampo na. Joke lang yun.

Beauty: Ikaw naman kasi Mel, puro na lang worry. (laughs)

Mel: kayong kambal kayo ha! Pinagtutulungan niyo ako. Gusto ko lang naman na maging  maayos yung plano eh.

Erich: we know. Kaya nga loves na loves ka naming diba?

Mel: sus, nice save Erich. (laughs)

Empress: teka, teka. Kanina pa tayong tawa ng tawa ditto eh. Para na tayong mga baliw.

Maja: oo nga, tumigil na nga tayo. Mel, ano ba yung worry mo kanina?

Mel: actually, worry nating lahat ito. All of us needs to think about this.

Maja: ano na nga?!

Mel: eh ano ba yung test na ipapagawa natin kay Gerald?

Erich: oo nga ano. Empress, ikaw ang nag plano nito, ano ba?

Empress: HUH?! (looks shocked) ako? Bakit ako? Ako na nga nag-isip ng plano ako pa din ang mag-iisip kung ano yung test na ipapagawa natin.

Maja: yun na nga e. Dapat nilubos lubos mo na.

Empress: ganun ba? eh sa wala akong alam eh. Tulongan niyo akong mag-isip. Please (with puppy dog eyes)

All except Empress: SURE!!!

On the other hand. While Kim’s barkada are talking about Gerald’s “initiation”, Kim and Gerald entered the campus together again. It surprised the both of them, because for 2 straight days , they coincidentally arrived at the school at the same time.

Kim: (Suprised) Uy! Gerald!

Gerald: (Surprised) Oh, Kim. Kararating mo lang din ba?

Kim: Ano sa tingin mo? (laughs)

Gerald: (laughs as well) Sabi ko nga. Ano, sama ka sa akin?

Kim: Saan naman? Eh, kapapasok lang natin ah.

Gerald: Ano ka ba, what I’m trying to say is, will you join me habang hindi pa time. Wala kasi akong makakasama eh, mamaya pa naman ang time.

Kim: Sige, total naawa ako sa iyo. Ayaw naman kitang gawing “Loner”. (putting the L sign on her forehead)

Gerald: Tara na nga, inaasar mo pa ako eh.

Kim: Ito naman, nag paasar kaagad. Peace tayo. I was just joking naman. Buti nga sasamahan kita eh.

Gerald: Oo na, punta na tayong locker.

Gerald pulled Kim’s arm to the lockers direction. But Kim only laughed at Gerald for being pikon.

Kim: teka Gerald, masakit. (still laughing)

Gerald: Sorry Kim, masakit ba? (touches Kim’s arm)

Kim: (Kim pulled her arm away from Gerald) Ikaw naman, masyado kang concerned. Okay lang ako. Kung makahila ka kasi e.

Gerald: (puts his hand down) Ang bagal bagal mo kasi.

Kim: sorry ha. Ikaw na nga ang sinasamahan. (acts upset)

Gerald: (pleasing Kim) Oy, joke lang. Saya ko nga at sinamahan mo ako eh.

Kim: (still ignoring Gerald)

Gerald: Kim, hoy. Sorry na, joke lang talaga yun. (tickles Kim’s underarms) sorry na kasi.

Kim: (trying to avoid Gerald’s tickle, while laughing) Ge, Ge. Oo na, oo na, stop it, please nakikiliti ako.

Gerald: Aha. (continues) Diyan pala kiliti mo ha. (laughing)

Kim: Ge, please stop, please (still laughing)

Gerald: (stops tickling Kim) Ge? I kind of like the sound of that.

Kim: (catching her breath) huh? Ano?

Gerald: Sabi ko, gusto ko yung tinawag mo sa akin kanina.

Kim: Alin?

Gerald: yung Ge.

Kim: ahhh… Yun ba yun, pasensya, di ko na kasi nakumpleto pangalan mo, kinikiliti mo kasi ako.

Gerald: okay lang. Ang ganda nga ng Ge eh. Yun na lang ang itawag mo sa akin.

Kim: Ge? Are you sure?

Gerald: Yup. I’m sure.

Kim: okay “Ge”. (laughs)

Gerald: oh, enough of all this non-sense. Tara, upo muna tayo.

Kim followed Ge to the bench.

Gerald: buti na lang nagkasabay tayo pag pasok no.

Kim: huh? Bakit naman?

Gerald: kasi nagkaroon ako ng kasama, kausap at bagong nickname. (smiles widely)

Kim: Sus! Kung ganon, dapat may TF ako.

Gerald: Ganon? Talagang may TF? Pwede bang libre na lang. Friend mo naman ako diba.

Kim: Hay, sige na nga libre na lang. Pero next time hindi na pwede ang libre ha! Okay?

Gerald: sure. Teka, hindi ka pa ba hahanapin ng kada mo?

Kim: naku, an gaga pa. Wala pa yung mga yon.

Gerald: (laughs) Bakit? Lagi ba silang huling dumating?

Kim: Sinabi mo pa. (laughs)

Kim and Gerald talked and laughed the whole time Kim was waiting for her kada’s usual time to go to school. What she doesn’t know is that her kada was already in their hang out way before her.
