"Hey brat! Are you even paying attention to me?"

Min Ho turned around and looked at his manager apologically.

"Mihane hyung. What were you saying?"

Looking at him in an almost worried face, his manager responded.

"I was saying that this Christmas, you need someone to spend it with. Otherwise, you'll be lonely." His manager said honestly.

Chuckling, he looked at his manager's face that was wrapped in honesty and sincerity.

"Hyung, don't worry about me. I'll do better, spending it by myself. Plus there is still like 2 months left until then."

His manager scowled at him.

"Why aren't you like the rest of this actors? Do you even have a heart? Or even better, do you have eyes that can see properly? Shin Hye ssi is in front of you! This might as well be your last chance brat!" His manager said, finally giving up on giving him hints.

Chuckling again, he shook his head. The truth was that he was tired of all this rumors and "opportunities".

"Hyung, how many times do I have to say that there is nothing between me and Shin Hye?" He asked in a frustrated voice.

"Aish. And when you try to help him out, he freaks out on you." He mumbled under his breath.

Min Ho sighed and sat back. Truthfully, these days, he had led himself to believe that there is no such thing as "true love" at age of 26 when he has so many things coming up in his career. It  frustrated him when his family or friends kept talking about how he is still single ever since his last breakup.

The reason why he was single was not because of her. It's because he realized how stupid he had been by thinking that he too can have a stable relationship like the rest of the people.

Was it wrong of him to be reasonable?

"You're only 26 for god's sake! Aren't you even thinking about having someone by your side?" His manager asked him, now looking at him directly.

Feeling unconfortable he looked away. He suddenly found this place suffocating. Maybe he is right.

Pretending that he doesn't care, he got up.

"I'll be going out for a bit. I need some fresh air." With that, he walked away without waiting for a response. 

"And now he has to leave. Aish." He heard his manager say after him.

He walked out, suddenly and unexpactantly feeling empty.

He walked around the restaurant that they had reserved. There were some trees around. Some lights, some benches and a fountain in the middle of the garden. You could almost call it a romantic place. However, he didn't care about the "romantic" part. He just wanted somewhere quite.

Suddenly tired of walking, he sat down on the nearest bench he could find. After looking around, he looked up at the sky.

Tonight, there was a full moon. Surprisingly, you could actually see the stars; a lot of them. How long has it been since he actually could look up at the sky and relax? 

As he looked, he started to forget about all of his worries, about everything that his manager had said,.. However, all that faded away when he heard a woman screaming.

Looking around alarmed, he tried to find the source. There it is. She was standing close to the restaurant and somebody was cornering her. He got up and walked over without knowing why he should care in the first place.

"So, how much do you want for a night?"

"Leave me alone you bastard! "

"Come on now.. One night won't hurt.."

The sight of the man, touching her face, angered him even more, knowing that all he wanted her for was a night of pleasure.

He got closer and closer and eventually, he was there. His eyes blinded by anger, he turned the man around and punched him in the face.

The man, now laying down, looked at him in surprise. It amazed Min Ho that a teenager would do something like this. He couldn't have been more than 17.

"Slow down bro! Slow down! I'll leave now!" With that, he got up and ran out of the garden.

As he looked at him, thinking how pathetic the society has become these days, he suddenly realized that the woman was gasping for air.

"Are you ok Miss?" He asked, bending down beside her.

As if she suddenly realized that he was there, her eyes went wide in surprise and she pushed him away.

"Who are you? Why did you help me?"

Now, this question took him by surprise. There was no way that she couldn't know who he was.

"Miss, did you hit your head by any chance?" He couldn't help, but ask in surprise.

"No! Of course I didn't!" She answered, gremicing.

However. She was holding her wrist in pain.

"Let me see."

"No, go away." She pulled her hand away.

"Please let me see. You might be hurt."

"I SAID LET GO!"

"LET ME SEE!" He yelled in his own surprise. She looked at him in surprise as well. "I won't bite. I promise." He said more softly, realizing that he had scared her.

This time, she didn't protest. He took her hands gentally and looked at them. They were bruised. He started to massage them. As he went on, she didn't react but evantually, low and soft moans started to scape . That was when he couldn't help but look at her.

Despite the fact that she was really skinny, her face was really beautiful. Even in the low moonlight, he couldn't help but stare at her, memorizing every part of her face.

Suddenly, she opened her eyes and stared at him. That was when he realized that he had stopped massaging her wrists.

As if feeling something is wrong, she quickly pulled her hands away and hurriedly got up. "T..t..thank you for tonight." She stammered quickly.

He got up quickly as well. "You need to go to a hospital! Your hands' condition is really bad!"

"N..no. It's fine."

"But.."

"Have a nice night!" She bowed down and walked away without listening.

All he could do was to stand there and watch her walk away.
