In the romantic comedy story, a not – so – smart high school boy named Daehyun, finally tells a fellow senior named Youngjae that he has loved him from afar since he saw him on their first day of high school. However, Youngjae, a hottie (handsome male) who is smart and good at sports, rejects him offhand. Fate intervenes when a mild earthquake destroyed Daehyun's family house. While the house gets rebuilt, Daehyun and his dad stay at the home of his dad's childhood bestfriend... whose son is Youngjae. Youngjae eventually falls for Daehyun and started to have romantic, protective feelings for him.

Jung Daehyun (Kotoko Aihara’s male ver.)

Jung Daehyun is 18 years old student in class - F. He is not so smart, and is bad at studying and school. He has been in love with the handsome and intelligent Yoo Youngjae since their first year in high school after hearing his speech at the opening ceremony. One day he decides to write a love letter to Youngjae, and is rejected right away. On the same day, his new poorly constructed house was destroyed in a mild earthquake, and he and his father were invited to stay at a house owned by his fathers close friend. Arriving to the house, he is shocked to find out that his fathers friend is the dad of Yoo Youngjae, and he will be living in the same house as him. He gives him many hardships and is cold to him, but slowly falls in love with him. 

Yoo Youngjae (Naoki Irie)

Yoo Youngjae is 18 years old student in class - A. He is the smartest and most handsome guy at his high school. He is rumored to have an IQ of 200, and is perfect all around. He received Daehyun's love letter, but rejected it as soon as he tried to confess. His reason being that he hates dumb boy. He lives a boring life of never having to try on anything, and excels in everything he does. When Daehyun and his father move in with them, he gives him hardships, and keeps his cold attitude. But little does Daehyun knows, that he is slowly, and secretly falling in love with him.

Jung Woosung (Aihara Shigeo)

He has a son named Daehyun. He loves his son so much even though people always said that his son is useless and stupid. He is Yoo Jaesuk's bestfriend.

Yoo Jaesuk (Irie Masaki)

He has a beautiful wife named Chaehyun and two sons named Youngjae and Changhyun. He is Jung Woosung's bestfriend since childhood.

Yoo Chaehyun (Irie Machiko)

She is Youngjae's mother who took up the role of a fairy-godmother to bring his beloved eldest son with Daehyun. She loves Daehyun liked her own son because of his personality.

Yoo Changhyun/Ricky (Irie Yuuki)

Ricky is 13 years old boy. Youngjae's younger brother. He admires his brother so much. Sometimes he has to follow his mother to spy his brother and Daehyun whenever they are together. He dislikes Daehyun just like his brother.

Byun Baekhyun (Jinko Komori male ver.)

He is one of Daehyun's best friends. He is a bit girlish, and dates a musician named Park Chanyeol.

Jeon Hyosung (Satomi Ishikawa)

She is one of Daehyun's best friends.

Bang Yongguk (Kinosuke Ikezawa)

He is the guy who has liked Daehyun ever since high school and didn't give up until Youngjae confessed that he was emotionally involved with him as well. He knew how to cook just like Daehyun's father.

Kim Himchan (Christine 'Chris' Robbins male ver. )

He is a foreign exchange student from the Japan who has gone to Korea to find a Korean boyfriend. He falls for Yongguk. He is the son of the bank involved with Youngjae's father's company.

Jung Eunji (Reiko Matsumoto)

She is one of Youngjae's many love trials. She has been interested in him since before college. She hates Daehyun because he is her rival. She tries hard to win Youngjae's heart by following him.

Kim Kibum/Key (Sudou)

He liked Eunji since college, but hasn't been successful in winning her heart. Daehyun describes him as someone who has a dual personality. He is very kind when he's not holding the tennis racquet, but once he holds it, he becomes vicious and competitive (most especially to Youngjae, but he always loses to him).

Choi Junhong/Zelo (Nobuhiro Kimura)

He became Ricky's friend when he went to the hospital. This boy has a kidney problem and was unable to live with his parents. Years later, he reappears as a young and famous dancer known as Zelo. His parents have divorced, both remarried. He moved out after his father had a baby with his new wife. He appears to have given up on life... until Daehyun and Youngjae give him hope again. Daehyun offers him hope and he turns into a kinder person.

Nursing's Classmates :

Oh Sehun (Keita Kamogari)

is one of Daehyun's classmates in nursing school. He is very passionate about nursing and can therefore be very fierce if things don't go right. Youngjae was jealous because of Sehun's and Daehyun's relationship.

Lee Sungyeol (Kikyou Tomoki)

is Daehyun's classmate in nursing school. He is born a boy, but prefers to be a girl. Of all the guys that Daehyun knows, he is the most girly one. He is the president of Youngjaei's fan club.

Choi Sulli (Marina Shinagawa)

is Daehyun's classmate in nursing school. She went to study nursing to marry a doctor.

Bang Minah (Tomoko Ogura)

is Daehyun's classmate in nursing school. She is sweet and kind and gentle like an angel, but is also crazy about seeing blood, which makes her somewhat scary.
