Kai POV:

I rushed Soyeon down the streets, trying to get home as fast as possible. The last thing I needed was to end the night unconscious. I mentally cursed when remembering what happened a few minutes ago. *Think JongIn! Where can you find another job?!”

“I like her!” Soyeon suddenly blurted, making me look at her weirdly. *Oh… Violet!* I recall, deciding not to comment since we were arriving home anyways. I was able to sigh in relief, lucky enough to have only Nari home.

Waking up early, as usual, I took a hot shower and changed clothes. Reaching for the bag, wallet and my keys, I ponder on taking my car. After a brief thinking, I decide to just leave it here. With the backpack on its place, I made my way towards school. Still having one hour to spare, I stopped at the usual small cafe for a little breakfast. I glanced over the watch. *30 minutes left* I left the cafe and, as if on cue, Charlotte greets me with her glowing smile, making me grin. 

“Ready for school?" I nodded my head, not really wanting to talk. My head was still overthinking about the job thing. *Where can I go? Should I miss school and look for jobs? Should I go back to the old one? Maybe I can search on other areas? I guess for now, I should just go back to the old one...* “JongIn? What happened?”  She woke me up and I look at her, unsure if I should tell her or not.

“Well…” She will find out anyways. “Yesterday, at work, this guy hit the client’s car, long story short, they fired me.” I continued with a groan. I didn’t even wanted to see the look on her face, and so I kept my gaze low.

“Oh JongIn” I rub the back of my neck, out of pure frustration. I hate to disappoint her. Her hand finds my back and she starts rubbing small circles on my back, trying to light up my mood. I knew, however, what she was thinking right now * Damn Kai! Another job?! You really do at everything!* “Are you going to look for another job?” She asked worried.

“Eventually… For now I guess I’ll just-“

“For real?! You’re going to do that again?!” She didn’t let me finish. “Seriously JongIn? Can’t you stay put and wait until you find a decent job?” I sighed. *Here we go again* I’ve heard this talk thousands of times and it wouldn’t change anything.

“You know I’ve to get money! The more, the better! If I can do this, why would I wait weeks, months or maybe years to get some? We had this talk already Charlotte, you’re not changing my mind” I said firmly, not wanting her to keep pushing this conversation any further. Luckily, we reached the school and even if she intended on talking, it wouldn’t be here.

“Charlotte!” Our heads turned into Violet’s direction, her being the one calling.

“Wait! Violet!” My gaze fell at U-kwon, following behind Violet. *Oh there’s no way you’re staying here dealing with this bastard right now.* my mind told me and I got closer to Charlotte.

“This place is starting to stink…I guess I’ll see you later!” I whispered, knowing she would scold me if I said it out loud. I walked towards the class. * Hm… He could as well show up at my work…* I shake my head while smirking at the thought, taking a seat on the last table of the classroom. The day went by rather slowly and when I noticed, the bell was already ringing. *Finally* I thought, not moving from my place.

“Hey JongIn!” Someone poke my shoulder.

"Hm?" I said blankly, my head still buried in my crossed arms that were on the table.

"Do you want to go out with us? We were thinking about going to drink some bears and hang out at the amusement park…” I looked over at the owner of the voice, Sehun. *Do I really want to go with them? After what happened?* I sighed. *I did over react though…* “So, do you want to come?" * We’re like brothers after all and it will distract me from my problems...*

"Hm, sure, let's go" I got up from my sit and straitened my clothes, we both left afterwards, waiting for the rest of the guys at the front gate.

"Hey!!! Kai is coming with us?!! Woow that's a new!!" Chanyeol shouted in a surprise tone, receiving a hit from Baekhyun. I rolled my eyes at his teasing. *ing Idiot, what's new about me going with you?!*

"Anyways... I'm glad you're coming! It's not the same without you!!" Lay said while putting his arm around my shoulder, a smile spread on his lips. *He was always the friendly one*.

"Of course it’s not the same! There were no fights or arguments, no ty girls annoying us all the time…" Chanyeol mumbled, receiving a hit from Chen this time, I even surprised myself when I actually decided to ignore his comment.

"I miss those days!" Luhan blurted, trying to ease the mood.

"Yah! We're all here, let's go!" Kris demanded and we started walking.

"Are we going to Mr. Mustache?" Suho asked excited.

"Of course... Where else would we go?!" Tao answered almost insulted by the question that wasn't supposed to be asked.

"Are you still going there?!" I asked surprised. I remember taking them all to Mr. Mustache when we meet and since that day we would go there very often. It’s been a few months since we all went there... I didn't even know that they were still going, especially without me. *Great, maybe you should just leave* my mind strikes.

"Of course!! Why wouldn't we?" Said Tao, getting rather angry by the sudden questions.

“Oh…” I mumbled.

“You were always busy with girls so…” D.O. added. *Of course* I rolled my eyes *I’m the one to blame*

"It’s a pretty cool place!” Baekhyun commented, giving me a thankful look.

“Besides, there's the little park with a playground for Sehun near the cafe! It's perfect." Chen laughed, making me, as well as the guys, to laugh. Of course Sehun who was currently running after Chen, ready to kill him, didn’t like the joke.

"Tks, these two... they love each other..." I chuckled, not realizing I said it out loud.

"WHAT?!!" Sehun and Chen stopped running and shouted at the same time. *Well at least I know I can joke with them* A playful smirk grew as I look at their not offended face.

"GAY! YOU TWO ARE SO GAY!" I shouted to them and all of a sudden they started running after me. * Oh !* I was able to run away from them until Luhan got on my way. "What?!" I frowned at Luhan whose face was serious.

"You...Kai... How could you?!" He asked, looking hurt. *The hell*

"What?! How could I what?!" I asked dumb full, moving side to side, trying to pass through him.

"SEHUN IS MINEEEE NOT CHEN'S!! HOW COULD YOU DO THISSS" He shouted at my faced. I face palmed myself *Of course, how could I forget?* And tried to run from his grip.

"AISH I DON’T CARE! YOU'RE ALL GAY!! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!" I shouted as the two of them got closer to me, Luhan’s grip tight on my shirt.

"Wow Kai, you know what?” I raised my brow, still trying to get away. “You look extremely y today… I like it!! Don't you think guys?! Don't you think he's looking so y and stuff?!" Luhan continued. *The ?!*

"Hell no! Get away from me Lu! Are you high?!" I said, the others laughing. I started walking backwards but it was useless as they got closer and closer. Of course they wouldn’t kiss me or something, however Chen’s hand his heavy and I really didn’t feel like taking a punch right now * Damn it! Just run Kai! Just run!!* I was able to free myself and quickly turned around, speeding up only to bump into someone and fall, feeling some cold liquid running down my legs.

"!! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT I... Taemin?!" My eyes widened as I kept looking at him.

"Tks... still blaming the others for your mistakes?! Hey there little brother!" He smirked and extended his arm to help me standing up. I couldn’t help but to just hug him. *Damn, how I miss this guy!* I kept my hold tight, my eyes getting a little wet. I couldn’t help it, Charlotte and him are my right arm. I don’t even know where I would be if it weren’t for them. Probably not even alive!

“Who’s being all gay now?!” I heard Chen, but right now I couldn’t care less about what he said. I broke the hug.

"When did you came?!! How long have you been here?! Why didn't you said you were here!?!Where are you living now?!-“

"Geez... Calm down Kai! What are you?! His girlfriend?!" Xiumin laughed.

"Hyung!!" I whined, wanting answers.

"I arrived here for, hum.... one week? I guess... That's not important!! I was going to see you, but you know I don’t go to your house! I tried to call you but I guess you just changed your number. Anyways I looked for you, and here you are... bumping onto me... falling on the ground and… damn JongIn! You should use the bathroom!" He started laughing hard. *What*

"Ok so first of all yes! It’s important! You should've told Charlotte and then we would all meet!! And one week?! And you only see me now?!! Wow... I guess you love me!!" I said a little bit taken aback by my so called ‘brother’ who apparently didn't actually cared about me. * If we didn't bump into each other he wouldn’t even look for me!*. Taemin looked over at the guys, a weird expression on his face.

“Yes… he’s on his period. It’s going on for a while now, should we take him to the doctor?” Baekhyun joked and they kept laughing.

“Haha, very funny” I put on a poker face as they laugh even more. It then, suddenly, hit me.

"Wait... Now what was the joke I didn't get?! Why are all of you laughing?! Was my fall that amazing?!" I asked still not amused.

"K-Kai... You know what I’m holding?!" Taemin said between the laughs.

"Cola?...Bear?... IDK Something to drink... What the hell that has to do with the-"

"You bumped into me remember...." He continued, lowering his gaze. *The his he....* All of a sudden, it’s like I could feel the cold drink soaking my pants again.

"WHAT THE !!!!!!!!!" I shouted, my cheeks already becoming pink.

"Hahaha it looks like you've pee yourself!!!" Chanyeol laughed, just like everyone else. Even Kris was laughing hard.

"Come on!! THIS IS NOT FUNNY!! AISH!!!" I protested, the people on the streets were already giving me dirty looks while some others laughed.

"HEY EVERYONE! KAI JUST PEE!!" Baekhyun said between his laughs, making the people near us, that were oblivious to the situation, look at me and my full pink face.

"SHUT UP EYELINER! GO DRESS YOURSELF HAS A GIRL!!" I said angrily, feeling embarrassed as I started walking off, covering the wet pants the best I could.

"I'll see you at the cafe Mr.Pee in my pants!!" Luhan shouted. * Dam it!!! I'm the one who always suffers!!* I cursed while running towards my house. Even though my embarrassing situation, I couldn’t help but to just laugh happily.* I missed this... I really missed this dumb things* A few minutes of running towards the streets, laughing faces where registered in my brain has I tried to forget what had happened and not turn more pink that I already was. As soon as I entered home, I changed my clothes and once again left towards the cafe. Looking around I noticed Taemin didn’t come with them. I sighed.

"Here you go...  You deserve this one!" Said Kris placing a bear when I sat next to him. Looking towards the others I could still see they were joking about what happened.

"Thanks..." I actually feel like apologizing but my suborn self doesn’t allows me to just yet. A bear went to two and two to three and three to four... all of a sudden they remember the amusement park. We pay for the bill and went there, has Lay, Xiumin, Sehun and D.O went to the only available roller coaster sits, me and the guys were waiting to see them throwing up everywhere, unfortunately nothing happened. After a playing a few games and ride on the entertainments and drink a little more, we decided to end the day. I was in a really good mood now, not sure if the alcohol was the one to blame but I actually didn’t care. As I was getting out of the park I saw someone familiar. * Is that Mim? * I went after the little girl who was pushing someone with her. Both of them stopped at the cotton candy station and, being a good 'cousin' I decided to go check Mim, only to stop mid-way. * What’s Teddy bear doing with her?!* I frowned now and kept walking closer.

"Mim!!" I said a little louder. She turned around, just like Violet.

"JongIn Oppa!!!" She gave me a sweet smile, ran towards me and hugged my waist.

"What are you doing here?! Do you even know that girl?!" I asked her with a cold voice tone, regretting later because she was just a child.

"Oh! It’s Taemin's friend, he said he needed my help so... I just helped him! He seems a good person!" She smiled innocently. *Him?*

"Who is he? What did he want?" I asked a trying to sound calm. "Aish Mim you shouldn't go out with strangers!!" I poked her cheek and she pouted.

"I know I know! But Taemin Oppa knows them! And they needed me… Oppa, that guy likes that girl and he's trying to make her his princess. Isn't that cute?” She said pulling my shirt in order to pull me down next to her. * Tks... Those two dating? Of course... Good luck with that!*

"Hm, I guess so..." I said emotionless.

"Aish!! My Oppa needs a princess too!!" She said pitching my cheeks. "Can I be your princess?!" She asked shyly, which made me laugh.

"Of course!” I ruffled her hair. “I'd love to be your prince! Does my princess wants to go home?!" I said pulling her into my embrace, carrying her. She glanced back at Violet.

“They seem to be getting along…” I scoffed.

"Hm, just let Taemin know that you took me home" She commented and I took my phone, and messaged Taemin. Not forgetting to mention for him to add my number. When I was done, my phone went back to my pocket and I start walking away, Mim still on my embrace.

"Oppa...” She said with a weird voice. “You smell bad!! Like really bad! Did you drink something bad?!" She asked, pulling away from the ‘hug’ to look at me with those cute and innocent eyes of her. *Damn*

"Op-Oppa... Oppa doesn't drink princess. My friends do! I'm sorry if the smell bothers you, I really am..." I lowered my head, ashamed for lying at the little girl.

"It’s okay!" She flashed a smile and cupped my cheeks. "Since Oppa doesn't drink... It's okay!!" *Aish! Stop that! It’s breaking my heart* Thank god her house was on the way and in a few minutes I left her with Taemin's aunt. Soon after, I headed home, wondering where and what my two little princesses are doing. As I the lights, what was left of my good mood, quickly disappeared, and I quickly adverted my gaze from my parents.

"Aish, stupid kid!!" My father cursed, annoyed with my presence. I started making my way upstairs, sensing something bad may happen. I really just wanted to lock myself on my room and stay there in peace and quiet.

"Kai? Oh Kai!! My dear and lovely son!! How I missed you!!" I heard my mother saying. *Here we go again...* I kept walking, trying to avoid. Unfortunately that didn’t happen as I suddenly feel her hands circling my waist. She was holding onto me by the back. I sighed. * Go away! Leave me alone!! Just run Kai! Just go!!*

"My dear, dear JongIn!" She got in front of me, still holding onto my waist, and I quickly adverted my gaze from her, rubbing my face with my hands. **

"Babe??Yah! Look at me! I'm your mother!!" One of her hands let the hold and reached harshly towards my jaw, holding onto it and turning my face towards her direction. * Just run! Come on!!* But I couldn't move, I just couldn’t. Glancing towards my mother I noticed her lack of clothing’s and, once again, my mother was standing in front of me, only her underwear on. Her hand left my jaw so she could hold my shoulder, her other hand still on my waist and I couldn’t help but to shiver at the familiar touch. *Just go! Please!* my inner self cried as my mother tried to seduce me. I sighed again. * I'm so death...* "So… Do you need help with those?" She pointed at my clothes, already ing the shirt I was wearing. Looking towards my father, he was boiling. * STOP THIS CRAZY WOMAM GOD DAMIT!!* "JongIn! I asked you something! You should answer me!! And don't give me cold looks young man!!" She said rudely. "You know what? I'll just help you anyways!" She continued. * I’M SO ED!*

"Stop!" I murmured and stopped her, grabbing her hands. I could feel my eyes getting wet already and a lump forming on my throat.

"Excuse me?!" She yelled.

“I-I SAID STOP!!” I choked, trying to hold my tears. “I’M YOUR SON!! WHAT THE ARE YOU TRYING TO DO? AGAIN!!” I somehow managed to yell back tightening slightly the grip on her wrist, tears already running down my face.

"AH!! HELP ME HONEY!! OUR SON IS HURTING ME!!” She faked a cry, making me cry harder.

"WHAT?!” I swallowed that lump. “DAD PLEASE! YOU SAW IT! I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING! SHE WAS TH-“A punch fell hard on my face before I could even finish my sentence. I fell hard, hitting with my head on the end of the stairs. It only took a few seconds for me to blackout.
