EXO Drabbles
You jolted from your sleep as loud rumbles of thunder echoed within the room. Pulling your blanket higher to your chin, you snuggled in the warmth of the soft material. You pulled your panda soft toy, one that your boyfriend had given you, into a tight hug. He had said to, "Think of me when you're holding it." And that was exactly what you were doing.
The heavy raindrops fell rapidly onto the window pane and cold seemed to seep into the air. Your fingers clutched the bear even tighter as you squeezed your eyes shut. You mentally cursed at yourself, you just couldn't fall asleep.
Sudden warmth spread onto your waist as a pair of hands gently tugged at you from behind. On reflex you twisted around quickly, afraid of whatever that had touched you. Your features softened in relief when you saw a familiar face. You took in his jet black hair, sharp jawline, dark eye circles that seemed to be permanently residing below his eyes and smiled.
You scooted closer to him, his warm hand still remaining at your waist. He winced a little as your breath tickled his neck, but he smiled at you reassuringly.
"Tao," you mumbled, voice soft and shaky.
"Your real panda is here for you, don't worry." He whispered, first to break the comfortable silence. Burying your head into his chest, you nodded meekly.
Huddling in his warmth and inhaling his familiar scent, you soon drifted off into slumber once again.
