Kai : Stolen Kiss
EXO Drabbles
"Don't you remember me?" he asked, his gentle tone something so familiar, yet so distant. Taking her silence as confusion he continued,
"We knew each other when we were kids."
Seeing her blank expression he continued to ramble on, rather anxiously now,
"We were once really close, you know..."
She continued staring, as if in a trance, before finally blurting out,
"You stole my first kiss... Kim Jongin.."
"We were seven back then, how was I supposed to know?" he frowned, replying rather indignantly.
For a moment they just stood there, staring into the other's eyes. The awkward silence felt like eternity and the tension only made it worse.
Giving in, she turned away.
"How did it even happen?" she mumbled to herself, absentmindedly trailing a line on the wall. Heat rose to her cheeks and she moved several feet forward, as far away from him as she dared.
"I don't know." he whispered, his tone actually turning gentle.
She stopped.
"We were just.. walking at this park like we always did, weren't we?" she murmured, more to herself than for him to hear.
"Th-then..." she continued stuttering as she struggled to refrain from remembering.
He took a few steps. Slowly.
Eyes widening in surprise, she glanced back at him as she unlocked the memory she had once swore to never recall again. Bits and pieces of that memory seemed to whiz in her head, like broken glass shards, making her head feel light. The sound of his voice brought her back to reality,
"Then it was just," he helped her continue.
He closed up the gap between them, making her press her back to the wall, her eyes rounded as their gaze locked again.
"Bam." he whispered, breath tickling her nose, before he pressed his lips onto hers.
A/N: Idk how or why I was inspired to write this... Maybe because I was feeling so guilty for not posting a Kai scene yet. But yeah, I hope you guys enjoy~
