Kris : Going Out
EXO Drabbles
"I'm going out for dinner,"
"With?"
"some colleagues."
He lifted an eyebrow, telling me to elaborate.
I sighed, "You wouldn't know even if I told you their names, Wu Fan."
His eyes narrowed, "who?" he felt his possessive streak rising, voice nearly a growl.
"Yi Xing, Zi Tao and Christy."
On his face, a puzzled expression replaced the one of suspicion.
"See?" I huffed, proving my point.
With swift thinking he countered,"All of them sound like guys."
"No, Christy's going too," I shot back, naming one of my closest friends.
"Fine. With the exception of her,"
"Wu Yi Fan," I whined in protest, his interrogation getting to me.
"Why can't you just let me celebrate my friend's birthday in peace?" I replied in a huff, growing irritated.
"Don't you trust me?" I added softly, eyes growing sad.
He stood up, enveloping me into a tight hug. "Of course I do."
I forced the word out of my mouth painfully, "then why?"
"Because Zi Tao is going." The words spilled out of his mouth bluntly.
Confusion etched my face, "huh?" I questioned, not knowing why he was so worked up.
He shot me a look. "You're really slow aren't you?"
I shot him my one of my own looks. "What are you implying, Kris Wu?"
"He obvious likes you!"
My eyes widened. I had been blind to that fact.
"So that's why you're so agitated?" I shot back at him once I regained my senses, aware that Kris was actually jealous.
He took a deep breath.
"My girlfriend is going out for dinner with a guy who likes her, for goodness sake, of course I'm agitated!" His gaze on me burned, eyes filled with sudden fury and worry.
I reached over, wrapping my arms around his torso. Leaning against his towering frame, I mumbled, "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't know. But it's just a birthday celebration, I'll be sure to stick to the birthday girl, alright?"
There was a silence before he replied, seemingly much calmer, "You'd better. And I-I'm sorry I got so mad."
Biting back a smile, I squeezed his hand before turning to head out the door.
